Glad I didn't read the reviews on here before I stayed! To be fair the decor and facilities were basic and perhaps a little bit tired but what do you expect for £75 a night for 3 people! The blonde lady on the reception when we arrived was very nice and gave us a map of the city with some... More

I liked this hotel but it is actually more of a hostel..stayed here for a couple of nights midweek in June 2014 -it was very good value for Dublin.People expecting a swanky place for the price I paid( about 45 euro) are in for a shock..Dublin is very expensive! I stayed here as I was working in the city and... More

This hotel is hands down the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. No bar or lounge to sit in. Room had no furniture. No cooked breakfast other than eggs.... no wardrobe for clothes and ri[p off price for one night at £366

Yes, it is close to everything but the accommodation was not very good. The basin in the bathroom was so small that when the hot water came on it splashed all over. We had our meals and drinks at O'Shea's just up the street and that made our time in that neighbourhood bearable. If you are a young backpacker on... More

My Place is not far off being a dump. Good points -- location is very convenient, thats what you are paying for. Clean, reasonably comfy bed and room. Not so good.-- Scruffy rooms. Cell like attic room with no window, just a restricted opening velox and no easy escape route if there was a fire. Would probably have died if... More

I got a spacious room recently decorated in stylish colours for a good price. The location is excellent, in a street with many hotels a few minutes away from O'Connell Street, and the service is also great. Two small minuses: There is no WiFi in the room (but you can get it downstairs) and you hear a lot through the... More

I took a bus from the airport and it stopped right infront of the hotel. I don't expect much when i read most of the negative comments. But to my surprise, the moment i checked-in, the front staff was very friendly and efficient. I booked two rooms which was far separated. But that doesn't matter much. I love the bed.It... More

First off, fantastic location! Close to the centre, only about 10 minutes to Temple Bar and 5 minutes from O'Connell Street....also right next to the Airport Shuttle Bus. Clean and well serviced, friendly staff, and a good value breakfast. However, the room was snug, the windows were only single-glazed so it was really noisy at night (maybe ask for a... More

Great for a quick stay. Brilliant location for getting to all the central Dublin haunts. Decent facilities, with comfy and clean rooms and free wifi. And a great set of friendly staff. For a long weekend on a budget, deffo recommended.

After seeing all those negative comments, I actually don't expect too much. But it is not that bad as a result. It has everything you need for sleep. The room is very old obviously but we can still use it. Except the room is very hot in June, the toilet door is broken, and the window cannot be closed. And,... More
