I booked a family room for my husband, 22 month old daughter and myself. The family room was 5 floors up, not very convenient with a small child and a buggy. The room itself was hazardous for children with a very low window which was wide open when we entered and was very loose and easy to open and close.... More

After reading some of the reviews people had put on here I wanted to cry and cancel my stay at MyPlace Hotel. However, I’m glad we didn’t cancel as the hotel was fine…. Just what I’d expect from a 2 star city centre hotel. Yes the hotel is a little pricey for what you receive (we paid 69 euro per... More

The greeting is average, nothing special for Ireland. Wifi is only available in the lobby. It is cheap and only 10 minutes away by foot to the center of Dublin but the neighbourhood is still quiet. I strongly advise not to book a 12 bed dormitory. Showers, located in the cellar, look quite scary. L'accueil est moyen, le wifi n'est... More

I was recommended this hostel from a hotel round the corner, as they had no vacancies left. I paid ten euros for a nights stay which is absolutely great. My bed was in a large dormitory, and I was left to choose any bunk that was available, however, these were all top bunks-with no bars at the side! Which made... More

Pleasant staff at reception, and allowed us to lock our belongings away even though we were super early. The room was of a good size and seemed reasonably clean however there was not shower gel in the dispenser in shower and the princely sum of 240 euro's per night for me and my mate for the one room I certainly... Don't go to this place with expectations of hotel luxury and if you're planning to go away to sit in your hotel room to look for things to complain about, you will find those things here. Do go and stay here if you, like us are going to dublin for a day and night out on the sauce and are... More

Glad I didn't read the reviews on here before I stayed! To be fair the decor and facilities were basic and perhaps a little bit tired but what do you expect for £75 a night for 3 people! The blonde lady on the reception when we arrived was very nice and gave us a map of the city with some... More

I liked this hotel but it is actually more of a hostel..stayed here for a couple of nights midweek in June 2014 -it was very good value for Dublin.People expecting a swanky place for the price I paid( about 45 euro) are in for a shock..Dublin is very expensive! I stayed here as I was working in the city and... More

Yes, it is close to everything but the accommodation was not very good. The basin in the bathroom was so small that when the hot water came on it splashed all over. We had our meals and drinks at O'Shea's just up the street and that made our time in that neighbourhood bearable. If you are a young backpacker on... More
