We stayed for one night at Belcamp Hutchinson and would go back in a heartbeat! We had planned to stay 2 nights but had to cut our trip short and return to the USA. Doreen was one of the most accommodating and hospitable people we have met. She took time to prepare an early breakfast for us. Over breakfast she... more
We Stay with Doreen every Christmas for our annual Dublin Shopping Trip. First year we stayed I left booking somewhere in the city Centre until the last minute, failed, and had to increase my search area from the City Centre to Malahide, stroke of luck that I couldn't find anywhere in the City Centre. We have stayed with Doreen ever... more
Both bedroom and public rooms matched expectations from the photograph of this 18th century house on the outskirts of Dublin. Breakfast at a long table in the panelled dining room was particularly impressive. The house is set in large gardens, a few minutes walk from the main road and bus route, and is quiet apart from occasional aircraft. We didn't... more
We stayed here on our last night in Ireland. It was a perfect spot to end a perfect trip, and I imagine much more pleasant than the airport hotels. we stayed here for two nights as I had previously visited Dublin and was glad to be a bit away from the hustle and bustle of town. This place was the best B&B of all those we stayed in in Ireland. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the grounds are beautiful with flower gardens and fruit trees. The hostess is... more
A smart out of the city location. Large well kept rooms in a proper period building with beautiful grounds/gardens. A great welcome and excellent breakfasts. Unlike many B&Bs you don't feel like you are intruding on someone's home. You have plenty of space and privacy. The host, Doreen is helpful, efficient and chatty without being overbearing. Her two dogs, Dusty... more
Staying two nights at Belcamp Hutchinson was a lovely introduction to Ireland! Arriving jet-lagged, we were so thankful that the property more than lived up to the reviews on Tripadvisor. It's a beautiful home. Comfortable and welcoming with a regal air. Doreen our hostess was a most efficient and helpful person. She served up a wonderful breakfast and gave us... more
