It might come out to be pricy but it's worth it. The vibe is great, has its own bar and bicycle tour in the morning from the hostel is amazing (heard a lot but couldn't try). Breakfast is not included but you wont need it if you had a blast at some underground clubs the previous night in Dublin.

Myself and a friend stayed for 4 nights at The Generator and it was an amazing experience, by far the nicest hostel i've stayed in. The hostel was always clean, and there was always something going on in the bar area with plenty of people from all around the world to meet. We stayed in an 8 person mixed dorm... More

Stayed with a large group for 3 nights. Warm welcome and very helpful staff all round. The hostel was well located for all the city centre attractions and the fresh supermarket oppositw had the most amazing food for sale. The vibe in the hostel was great with live music and dancers whilst we stayed. The rooms are basic but clean,... More

I had lunch here with a friend and it was very reasonable. A very good and substantial chicken wrap with noodles and potato salad cost 5.80. A croque Monsieur 350. A lively, bright and airy spot and no worries about the area because there's security on the door. The bar looks good too. I'd recommend it for lunch and might... More

This is the second time I have stayed in the generator hostel Dublin, in fact I had the exact same room this stay as last time. This trip we were in a group of 14, so had two 8 bedded dorms. Each room is immaculate and well equipped for a short stay. The only snag is for a group the... More

I have been in many hostels but this was the biggest I have ever been so far. Completely new, it offers a lot of activities to discover Dublin either during the day or the night. I went with 10 other friends and we had a fair stay. However, personnel at the reception was not very attentive, since when we arrived... More

Good things: I stayed in a double room and it's really comfortable. It's more like a hotel than a hostel. Good location, services, staff and atmosphere. Totally recommend it. Bad things: noisy. From my room I could listen people talking in other rooms and from the hallway. No cleaning during my stay (3 nights).
