Beautiful hostel, very convenient location, 5 mins by tram to O'Connell street, 10 by bus to College Green/Grafton Street. Bit strange that it isn't allowed to bring your own drinks. Comfy beds. Bathrooms are all located at same floor. Highly recommended!

I stayed here for a stag weekend recently. Although I was very unsure about staying in a hostel, I have to say I was very impressive with the place. Rooms were clean and comfortable, as was the shower room. The only down side to the rom was that it was a little warm as the window was so small and... More

Group of 3 between ages 21 and 30. As this was our first experience with a hostel, we were pleasantly surprised. It was quieter than we anticipated, yet it was still able to have a fun bar scene and a fun vibe. At the beginning of our trip on our first stay, it was great to have a place to... More

New & modern are two words I'd use to describe this hostel. Everything was above average compared to most hostels I've stayed in throughout europe. I'd definitely stay with generator again. Their services met my standards... when compared to other hostels I've stayed in...there isn't anything I'd complain about at generator dublin. - the location could be closer to town...... More

This was such a great hostel. Went there for St Paddy's day. Staff were great. The beds were absolutely amazing. I have never slept in a hostel let alone a hotel with beds as compfy as they were. Easily recommend them.

Stayed as couple in private room for 2 days Pros: As many mentioned, security is good since you have to use the keys to enter everywhere and security cameras at many points Wifi is free (although quality is poor) Snack bar is not too bad, nice to have if you don't want to go outside. Front desk is generally helpful... More

I think this place seduces a lot of young travelers with its sleek, spacious lobby. Which is quite nice, yes, but after a night or two, the corporate nickel-and-diming policies become a huge turn-off. First, the pros: a high level of security (you can't even use the elevator without swiping your keycard.) The first locker large enough to fit a... More

This new hostel is within walking distance of the key tourist sites in Dublin. I shared a double bedroom with a friend which had 2 single beds. All the furnishings were clean and modern.
