Stayed here with friends while visiting Dublin. The staff was very nice and friendly. Rooms were clean. Bathrooms were good..could use little updating. About 20-30 min walk to center of Dublin or you could use the buses that are right outside the door. If looking to sleep in, may want to ask for a room in the back. Our room... More

Nice hotel in Dublin. I arrived late and left early next morning so I did not get much time to sample the atmosphere there. It is old but clean. Breakfast was great- full Irish traditional will have you right for the day. I was able to ask for poridge which was nice- needed some sugar though. Not easy to find... More

Terrible!!! Saw that they had 4 Stars from Tripadvisor and had high expectations. Although the front desk people were very friendly, it cannot make-up for the overall quality of this lodge. Where to start? The bed is double and my husband and I were very cramped and uncomfortable. We barely had enough room to open up our luggage. The room... More

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. The location is excellent - having a bus stop right in front of the hotel which gets you to the city centre in around 10 mins. The area is very safe, even at night. There are a number of pubs and eating places within walking distance and my boyfriend and I walked... More

would NOT reccommend this hotel to anyone considering our two night stay for 4 adults and a toddler cost us nearly £400 pounds. The rooms were basic with paint peeling off the ceiling in the bathroom, no tea/coffee facilties in the room, we were expected to pay a euro for a drink out of a veding machine, and the staff... Could not fault the hotel at first , room was fine , location what we expected ( out of town ) , staff seemed nice and helpful . The room at night was really hot , tried to open the window but was too noisy from the road so had to close it again , then at about 6.30 in... More

The Hotel its quite small and cosy and welcoming. Its only few minutes away from the center by bus and its not expensive. 30min by walk away from Pheonix park. The Rooms are clean and comfortable. The bath, the only problem was that the i couldn't use it as a shower due that there where no head caps to use... More

Originally was going to book here because of the excellent location I am from the area and wanted to be close to everything. When I read the reviews I was a bit worried and took a few days to go ahead with my booking. When I got there I was pleasantly surprised. Lovely warm room, Beds were very clean glasses... More

Nice hotel, staff pleasant. Bathroom needed a good clean, floor & wall tiles grubby, paint work flaking behind door. TV in bedrooms needs updating, no remote control. Rooms need kettle in, yes there is a pay for drinks machine in hall, but only caters for drinks with caffiene in, 1euro for a papercup of hot water is a bit much.... More

The lodge is located just outside the city of Dublin and with a short walk you can be in the heart of Dublin. The place is charming and the staff is nice, but the bathrooms are small and its not really the ideal location. If i where to go to Dublin again I would try and find another place to... More
