Stayed here last year for holiday in Dublin, very very ordinary accommodation, don't believe pictures on internet it was nothing like them. Very disappointed with size and disposition of room, service pretty ordinary. Will never stay here again!

What can I say....except EXCELLENT! My fiancee & I satyed here in November 2013. The room was sooo comfortable and decorated in wonderful style. The staff were very friendly, especially the girls in the breakfast room....where the full Irish Breakfast was absolutely gorgeous! The hotel as a whole was quaint and homely. The bus to central Dublin was 3 minutes... More

Good location, very close to the bus stops where the buses are regular & only about 5-10 mins to main attractions. Room was not the best, the handle on the bathroom door hanging off & the bedroom was very dusty. Wifi connection was very poor in the bedroom so we had to use the downstairs lounge where the connection was... More

I give this place 2 stars 1 for friendly staff and 1 for comfortable bed. Over priced for room only 183 euro 2 adults and 1 child oh and that included car park. Room dusty, tiny en suite. Wires visible on ceiling light fitting and a really strange unpleasant smell in the corridor on way to bedroom! Disappointing.

This was a great place to stay. It's a bit of a walk to all the main attractions, but the price was great. Breakfast was reasonably priced 5-9 euro. The rooms were clean. The building itself is charming and the front desk staff were very helpful.

We were at the Charleville Lodge three weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was good, but the shower could use a renewal. Otherwise, the room was good, quiet, and clean. The front lounge is very nice, and the receptionist was wonderful! Kinda far from the city center, though.

stayed here last weekend while at a show in Dublin. the location was lovely and phoenix park was just a short drive away. mc gowans bar and restaurant (recommended by hotel) was just a short walk away and the food was lovely. for the price you pay you get a quality stay in a lovely friendly hotel.

We felt really comfortable during our stay at charleville lodge - room was nice, bed was made every day, bathroom was a bit old, but clean and new towels were brought every day. Breakfast was good as well. The staff was very friendly and always willing to help. Location is good - Walking takes around 20 minutes to centre. There... More

Pros; Room warm, beds comfortable, enough hot water for shower & towels, front desk staff helpful, bus stop in front of building Cons; Hallway smelled of fuel oil, ceiling light in room hanging from bare wires, broken lamp in room, entry & bathroom door knobs falling off, need to drop room key at desk each time you leave, neighborhood is...
