My review will be pretty similar to previous experiences. Firstly, the internet service is very poor in the rooms , it does state high mpbs (55) to be exact. We couldn't even get 1mpbs. The TV in the room was behind our behind. They must of thought we had eyes on the back of heads. There were no socket points... More

A friend in Dublin told us that the Charleville Lodge, into which we had been randomly booked at the airport, was in the middle of a huge flame war.  A hotel flame war has to be pretty huge for a local person to have any awareness of it.  Hotels are usually off the radar for locals. I read up on... More

This accommodation is very tidy and even has a touch of opulence. While slightly outdated, the property interior has been well maintained and holds its original charm nicely. Handy to Tesco located on Prussia Road just 3-mins by car. While the property's free car park is limited to around 15 parks, there were spaces directly across the road from reception... More

Great and inexpensive place to stay. 20-25min walk to the city centre was a bit annoying but quite a good way to sober up on your way back from town. Enjoyed it and staff were very accommodating! Met someone who.was paying 40 Euros per night in a hostel and this is the same price and you get a nice hotel!

Nice hotel, well located and good services. We've been there in December and accommodation was very comfortable. Room was enough spacious and good partitioned and quiet at the ground level. Almost nothing to complain.

We booked a standard double room for 2 nights. We stayed in the Viscount Monck suite. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The cafe was lovely. Really close to the city centre, could be walked in 20 minutes and just 10 minutes by bus. The 46A bus stop is right outside. Room was very clean, bathroom was clean, the... More

I needed somewhere to stay overnight with parking near DITs Grangegorman campus. The Charleville lodge provided that with a warm clean room. Staff were friendly and the full Irish breakfast set me up for the day. My room was very close to reception, so that was a mild inconvenience as I could hear everyone talking. Thanks.

Stayed for 2 nights here with my husband. It's so cold in a room and heater wouldn't work properly. Rooms are so tiny there is place literally only for bed. Hair dryer was surprisingly good. They will charge 5 euros per night per parking. It's very basic hotel without any extras.

Quiet room in a nice residential area. The bus stop is right over the road which takes you into the city or even further down to the seaside. More of a bed and breakfast feeling to the place than a hotel, with creaky stairs and a fireplace giving the traditional feel.

Cute little bed and breakfast place, just a hop and a skip away from the bus stop of the 46a. Was on the outskirts of the city so was nice and quiet away from the hubble and bubble of the inner city. The wifi was impressive and the staff were friendly. The room was quite small, but there was only... More
