Have just spent 2 nights at this hotel with a friend. It's a really nice hotel. The room was clean and comfortable and although the en suite was small it was modern and spotless. The breakfast was excellent, with an ample choice and, in fact, far more than we could eat - enough to set a big man up for... More

Nice and clean room, good price, breakfast is good (choice of different menus). The reception manager was very friendly and helpful. Location of hotel is good, short walking distance to Dunlin city center and the main attractions. Although on a street, one can rest, its not noisy. This city hotel is a perfect choice for stays in beautiful Dublin.

So we came in Dublin and decided not to take the bus, but to walk from the city centre to the hotel: I won't recommend that. It was a 20/30 minute walk and up-hill all the way. When we arrived we were welcomed and got our keys by the receptionist, who was very friendly. When we got to our room... More

I don't usually write negative reviews but I feel on this occasion it is needed. Firstly the staff are wonderful and really friendly and the building is stunning, from the first floor up. On arrival we were allocated room 15, as we descended the stairs to ground level an overpowering stench on damp and mould hit me. We got into... More

Booked this place fairly last minute after scouring through endless numbers of websites and Charleville offered the perfect budget balance I was after (not quite hostel cheap but not disgustingly hotel expensive either). Well sufficed to say, I wasn't disappointed in the slightest and Charleville had all the amenities, charm, cleanliness and excellent customer service with über friendly and helpful... More

Very excited to arrive in Dublin for the first time and we drove straight to this hotel from the airport. Welcomed to a tired looking hotel featuring pictures of the Eiffel Tower and no sign of an Irish accent. Benefits: Rooms provided a comfortable night sleep, reasonably priced and walkable distance into the centre (or taxi costs 12 Euros, not... More

It was the cheapest place for a 7 day stay (and we didnt want to stay in a hostel). We didnt espect much and we got exactly that. So, for a place to sleepover and shower, maybe get a breakfast is ok. 20-30 minutes walk to city centre, if you dont like to walk get a Dublin Bus Sightseeing Tour.

I don`t really use to write reviews about the hotels I stay (what is a bit selfish, I know, once I always come to read them before book), but I think this hotel was a big plus during my time in Dublin and deserved it. The place is tidy and the staff friendly. They have a fast wi-fi connection and... More

This place is utterly infested with BED BUGS. Stayed the night in July 2014 and woke up in the middle of the night itching, and they were crawling all over my husband and I. Management wouldn't take any responsibility, and claimed they didn't know about the issue. Since I have experienced bed bugs before, I looked at the mattress, which... More

Dear Reviewer, Many thanks for your review. However, every now and then we come across some reviews that are regretfully misleading and highly unfair. Yours most certainly falls... More

good location for hotel. about 20-30mins walk to city centre, same again to Phoenix Park. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean. our room was at the top of the stairs. bit noisy with the reception phone ringing during the night and people coming and going.
