We were so impressed by the friendly and helpful service experienced throughout out stay. They were very helpful with maps and for us to locate and book an osteopathy treatment for my husband who had very sore neck from our long flight. It was a good location within walking distance of main parts of dublin and car parking helped.

Absolutely no complaints with the Waterloo. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it is not totally up-to-date. That's part of the charm. Speaking of charm - the staff couldn't be more charming and personable. Like visiting your favorite aunts.. We moved to the Waterloo after having trouble with noise in our first hotel in Temple... We booked a room and requested it not be on the road because of noise, we were delighted to be right out the back in a new wooden lodge room 109. It was perfect, fresh with everything you could wish for. In the book it stated we could ask for fresh milk, wine glasses or anything that would make our... More

Waterloo Lodge has a special flavour... A little far away from the main places, but in fact situated at 10 meters of a main bus station, it offers an excellent service by a staff as much cheerful as performing. The rooms are neither too small neither too big, everyting works out well... No noisy in the room but perhaps, because,... More

Had booked a twin room here for 1 nights stay on the 10th of July 2014 but had to cancel my stay early on the 10th (very short notice) due to an emergency. I emailed waterloo and explained this in an email and I was advised to cancel my booking through booking.com which of course should have incurred a charge... More

As has been said, the location of the lodge is good. Waking distance (15/20) mins from city centre and bus stop at the end of the drive. We had three adults in a family room and the room was a good size (although odd shaped). The TV signal was poor, but watchable. Good bathroom facilities and complimentary toiletries. The best... We stayed at the Waterloo lodge in July 2014. The staff are very nice and friendly. The room was large and decent size bathroom. There is no a/c and it was unseasonably warm in July for Dublin, but we opened the windows and kept comfortable - only couldn't keep out the early morning light. There is no lift except for... More

I stayed for three days and will definitely come back. Waterloo lodge may not be the most central place in Dublin but if you are looking for relaxing days it is perfect. The staff is always in a good mood and very friendly. It lies in a not to busy street and is close to the south canal. If you... More
