3 day visit over the school half term with my 10 year old. Booked through lastminute.com Wasn't sure what to expect due to the mixed bag of recent reviews, especially about noise and lack of sleep by some previous reviewers. We needn't have worried. We were allocated a room on the 2nd floor, near the back of the hotel, so... More

My friends & I stayed here for my hen weekend it was all arranged as a surprise for me so I had no idea where I was staying but they must have done their homework as it was first class! The hotel is very very central as all the bars, restaurants and bars are right outside the main door -... More

Stayed her for a Saturday and a Sunday night and the noise from the street was as if the revellers were in our room. This Hotel is right at the start of Fleet St. Which is the party area for Dublin with lots of great Irish pubs. And Grafton street is just around the corner if you want some retail therapy.... More

We arrived in Dublin at 6am bleary-eyed and disoriented. Thankfully, the Temple Bar Hotel had a room ready for us and we were able to get a delicious, hot breakfast and quick nap to fortify us for the rest of our short time in Dublin. I actually slept much better during the day than that night because the hotel is... More

Good clean hotel but would recommend superior double rooms over the standard double. Watch out for rooms at the rear (i.e. 312) which are noisy from air conditioning units on neighbouring buildings. Noise not bad but we were on a mid week break. Wifi unprotected and very intermittent. But otherwise great location and good self-service breakfast.

After reading many reviews on this hotel I thought my husband and I were in for a treat. Well unfortunately that was not the case. Although the room was quite spacious it's decor was still stuck in the 80's..... Really old fashioned and tired. Two single beds were put together to make a double and not at all comfortable as... Good morning Avril M. Thank you for your recent review of your stay here at The Temple Bar Hotel. I was with disappointment we didn't reach your expectations. The rooms are as you noted quite big and airy for a city centre location, and we are the ideal base to visit the city. You noted the bed configuration and this... More

Stayed there 9th May 2015 in and enjoyed it. We stayed in an executive suite which was clean and well equipped with a huge bed. Breakfast was good with a good selection of hot and cold foods available. The staff were helpful and pleasant so would have no problem recommending it to anyone.

I booked afternoon tea for myself and 2 friends while in Dublin. What a special treat. We were warmly welcomed and the table was beautifully set with bone China and a gorgeous candelabra. I can't begin to explain how special we were made to feel. The sandwiches and cakes were delicious, my friends had glasses of fizz, and the waiter... More
