This is a good value clean hotel with a good breakfast, the rooms are warm and bright and bathroom is good quality, not a hotel if you are a light sleeper, right in the center of dublin social life. It has a trendy night club Buskers next door very popular

We were here over the weekend of the rugby game between Ireland and England so the revelry was heavy. Expect the road noise to be loud so you should ask for a room away from the front of the hotel. Very centrally located but expensive for what you get. If you wish to be in the heart of Temple Bar,... More

Our third visit to Dublin but our first stay at the Temple Bar Hotel. Great hotel, reasonably priced, excellent breakfasts and friendly staff. We. Had a third floor double room to the front of the property, a bit of noise from the main street below even with the windows shut but hey, we are in the middle of Dublin. Nice... More

If you have come to Dublin to have a good time then this is a place to be as it is right in the middle of action. Great restaurants, pubs & nightlife close by. Not a place for tourists with family or business traveler looking to stay at a quiet place. Sleep quality is bad no matter which room you... More

Booked this hotel for 2 nights as it was in an ideal location for everything that we wanted to do- experience temple bar and its pubs in the eve and be tourists during the day. The location is spot on, we walked everywhere (except to the airport!). Grafton street is less than 5 mins away, obv temple bar is on... More

we visit Dublin regularly and have stayed here a few times. Prices can be good if booked well in advance but are too high on a Saturday night for the type of room you get. Great location for visiting Dublin though.

Perfect location in the heart of Dublin. The reception people are so helpful - I especially appreciated all the help given to us by Violet. She is stellar! Get a room on the "inside" if you're staying on a Friday or Saturday night as there is much partying down on the street and these rooms are much quieter.

Stayed here on business so car parking was essential and with a large multistory just across the road (you'd never guess it was there) it was perfect. The hotel is modern, rooms well appointed (wifi works well) and breakfast is buffet style. The location has to put this right up there with thebestas you really are in the centre of... More

Stayed here at the end of a 3 week trip in the Summer. 1st, great spot. I mean it's right in the middle of the action. Walking distance to anything you wanted to do in Dublin. However the spot also made it a horrible night's sleep. We were in a corner room overlooking the street which we thought would be... More

The line between a good hotel and a hotel that you wouldn't return to can be a fine one. Unfortunately, Temple Bar Hotel falls on the wrong side of the line. Let's start with the biggest positive: location. The hotel is in the Temple Bar area, within close walking distance of many of the main tourist attractions. It's also a... More
