Walking down the street and asked Dylan a question at the door. He invited us in. we had a fantastic meal a few drinks. The staff a were friendly and helpful. A great place for a bite to eat and get suggestions of things to see and do on the coy and across the country

This was a poor choice for us. We requested a "quiet room" away from bar noise but that's not what we got. Our room was over an alley that on the Friday night we stayed was taken in and used for more bar space. It was so loud, lots of girls and guys yelling until after 3am. Also be aware... More

Good value for money free upgrade for our celebration, staff lovely. I love staying here for a night out its the dead centre of things. Rooms are well equipped, not 5 star decor in rooms I wouldn't choose it for romance but for value comfort and a night in town perfect also great bar food!

We did nt expect much considering the well known Temple. Bar section of Dublin. What we found was a great hotel located in the middle of everything. And if you are on a high floor (4th in our case) it is absolutely quiet. What could be better?

The rooms were just OK. However, you are staying in the heart of Temple Bar just steps from your door. We were in Ireland for a Penn State game and was just the place to stay as just about everything was happening in Temple Bar all weekend long. Great to stay if you're looking to party at some touristy watering... More

We stayed 5 nights this august (2014). This location is perfect if you like to be right next to the night life and Pubs in the hottest spot of Dublin. This is not a family friendly (meaning young kids - our 16 and 23 year olds went with us) location in that there is lots of street noise late and... More

The room I was given was smelling like it had not been opened in a while. The wood work in the bathroom had been eaten by termites. I would not trust this hotel for another stay. The only positive is the location. Give it a miss if you can.

Dear hotelarjun13, Thank you for taking the time to write this review of your stay in Temple Bar Hotel. I was disappointed to read your comments about the termites and odour in the bathroom. The timber in the bathrooms was recently refurbished. Based on your feedback we inspected all rooms but we cannot find any evidence of termites. I would... More

Lovely hotel with a comfortable bed and great breakfast. Downside was we were given a room overlooking the main Temple Bar road. Noise noise noise all night. Little staff could overnight do so we didn't complain but next time I'll be choosing somewhere else!
