I stayed in The Temple Bar Hotel last weekend and had such an amazing weekend. I stayed with 2 friends for a girly weekend to Dublin. Location is perfect, you are simply a stones throw from all the top shops and Temple Bar is such good crack. Checking in was perfect, staff were very prompt & polite, and our rooms... more

My husband and I finished our tour of Ireland in Dublin. Most accomodations in Dublin are very expensive and we were ecstatic to find a deal on a hotel in the middle of Dublin. Going in, we knew that we were in the middle of Temple Bar and noise might be an issue. Fortunately, we were there in the middle... more

Stayed at this hotel for two nights on a midweek 2 night offer that included a 3 course evening meal for two. First impression of the hotel was good in a great location. Reception staff were very friendly and helpfull. Room was small but very comfortable and clean. Evening meal was disapointing due to the Vegatables being very over cooked... more

This hotel was just barely okay. The location is perfect. It is right in the heart of things in Dublin. We paid the price for this because it is terribly noisy. There were people coming and going throughout the hotel at all hours of the night. Also, you can hear people from the street making a lot of noise well... more

Ok, the bad first: Probably the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept in. Ever. It made a plastic crinkly noise when you moved...Noise level outside was very loud all night long...The Temple Bar area is known for that, but it was unseasonably warm when we were there, and there was no a/c in the room so we had to leave... more

booked at the airport tourist information booth.... If you like mold, you'll love this place. it was a great location, however I've never slept in a more uncomfortable bed in my life- huge sag in the middle and springs coming up through! mold all over the grout? in the bath and on the ceiling. Some patch work done to ceiling... more

My wife and I stayed at the Temple Bar Hotel for two nights in Dublin for our honeymoon during the last week of May. The location certainly is great if you want to be within walking distance of everything you would want to see and we were surprised by a few things, good and bad. We received a complementary dinner... more

Through the location was outstanding--although finding it via car on a Saturday night with all of the activity around proved challenging--and the service was very good. The rooms were a little less impressive and perhaps in need of a little updating. The breakfast was good, though. Would stay here again, but I wasn't blown away by it. more

I booked this hotel for one night so that I could check out Dublin for the afternoon and evening before I flew back to the States. It is at the end of Temple Bar and the location could not be better. The Hard Rock is only a block away and there are plenty of pubs and things to do and... more

having been to dublin for the last several years my friend and i went again a few weeks ago and stayed at the temple bar hotel. We have always stayed at The Gresham [very nice] but decided on a change. Temple bar half the cost. We looked at the reviews after we had booked [wrong way round maybe] and wondered... more
