Great value for my spacious and freshly decorated single en-suite room. Courteous and efficient reception both when arriving and departing. One treasure in the hotel is the Library Bar on the 1st floor, I recommend the lovely atmosphere here.

Been to Dublin several times. Stayed at different hotels. This was definitely the best location. Near public transport. Bus 16 from the airport. Near Temple Bar, and Grafton Street what more could you want. Unfortunately we arrived around midnight due to flight delay. Room was probably the smallest in hotel, nice comfortable bed but only about two feet from window... More

If you want to be in the heart of the action, this is good value for location. The only thing is you have to be ready for the night action which really goes until morning, so bring earplugs. Also try to arrive early to get a decent room. We arrived late on our 2nd stay and the rooms were not... More

Wonderful Hotel on the edge of Temple Bar. Not stuffy in the slightest. individual, relaxed, with warm professional staff. If you like things a bit on the lively side it's perfect. If you want everything perfect , tiny bottles of shampoo, robot staff etc I suggest you try elsewhere. I couldn't imagine stopping anywhere else in Dublin

Service here is helpful and friendly and the location is perfect for exploring the city. It is on a side street with less traffic yet still close to bus stops and tons of places to eat no matter what your budget. We easily walked to Dublin Castle, St. Patrick's, Christ Church and Temple Bar all in our first afternoon! Partying... More

Stayed here on a recent stay in Dublin with friends. The location is perfect, walking distance to all the city centre spots. There is no parking, so ended up quite a distance in an expensive overnight car park, so factor this in if you are driving. The hotel and rooms are dated and could do with some upgrading, especially with... More

The hotel is in a great location there's no disputing that. Grafton street is a 5 minute walk away and temple bar is really close by to. A lot of the reviews have said it's very noisy but I didn't find that at all. I was in room 406 and wasn't facing the street so might be why but my... More

I loved this hotel. The staff was great. The rooms clean and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast was the best in the area and so was the service. You were so close to everything. The library bar is so lovely to sit at the end of a long day. But...the noise, the noise. The person at the desk said... More

The Central Hotel is an older property in Dublin, with age come both positives and negatives. Rooms are on the smallish side. Hot water temperature fluctuated wildly. No central a/c and it was stuffy after 3 days of solid sunshine in Dublin (rare!). The location is great, there is a euro store and a Dunn's store both right across the... More
