Stayed here for one night. It is in an excellent location with the Temple Bar area a short walk away. In addition there are lots of amenities nearby. The hotel itself was good. The rooms were a good size and clean and despite the hotel being on a main road I didn't find it overly noisy. The beds were very... More

This Hotel is in a superb location in City Centre, three minutes from Grafton St and Trinity College. The room was very spacious and bathroom was enormous. We booked on a 'Room only' basis. The Library bar on the first floor is very cosy and warm, and is open to non guests.

We stayed for the weekend in Jan. The weather was cold and heaters were not working properly. After a few try as it can not be fixed, we asked an additional heater. As rooms are small, after we get additional heater, room became great. Yes rooms are really small, so bathroom. Building is old so evrrything is not working properly,... More

The hotel room we stayed in was very small and nothing like the pictures shown on the website. The bed was uncomfortable and the noise from the street below kept us awake until 3am both nights, despite being on the 4th floor. Apart from being conveniently located, I don't think the price is warranted. Breakfast is average and an additional... More

My friend booked this for a group of 5 of us travelling in October 2014. As the single I was in a double room on my own so had the luxury of starfishing in the very comfortable double bed! There was a chest of drawers and a large two sided walk in style wardrobe which while it provides lots of... More

Excellent family room - two separate rooms with one double bed and two single beds for the kids. Good breakfast. Very kind and attentive staff. Very quiet at night thanks to double glazed windows. Fantastic athmosphere in the Library Bar. Couldn't be more suitable for shopping, dining and drinking in the centre of Dublin.

the Central was a very cool place. the staff was extremely nice, the room was clean. the room we had was right above the street, there had been a protest earlier in the day and the crowd lingered into the night. unfortunately we could hear everything that was going on outside. this was the only real issue we had with... Whilst by no means 'luxe' in terms of the decor or hospitality, the rooms in the hotel were clean and compact with all the requirements for the 3 nights that we stayed. The limited breakfast hours made it challenging for my husband as a business traveller but the Library Bar was just right for arriving home after a day of... More

Stayed on a room only basis and have to say this is a nice clean if somewhat dated Hotel ,but it does offer value for a hotel so Ideally situated for all aspects of a visit to the Capital. We stayed for a weekend (3 nights) in mid-December in Dublin as a pre-Christmas treat. As has been mentioned before the location is excellent. We went to a show in the Olympia theatre on our 1st night which was a 5 minute stroll away. The biggest selling point really is the location as you are a few minutes from Grafton... More
