Our visit to Dublin was enhanced by staying at the Central. The staff was friendly, professional and extremely helpful, offering directions, recommendations and any other assistance we needed. The hotel contains a beautiful little "secret" bar on the third floor patronized by interesting and talkative locals as much as visitors. Price was reasonable and the accommodations were well above average.... More

5 min walk to temple bar, plenty to do around hotel. We booked a suite but it wasn't impressive. We also had zero sleep as the windows are like paper, very noisy street. The TV in the room didn't work & wasn't fixed. Bedside lamp bulb was out- although fixed quickly. The shower was hot but the pressure was non... More

When going out to the street there are shops and pubs and restaurants all over the place. Major shopping street is minutes away. Fantastic. Hotel itself has a unique antique atmosphere - somewhat dark even. We loved it, quite cool. On the second floor there is a tremendous pub called “Library”. Breakfast was a buffet, limited in nature, but one... More

Very well located. Staying at The Central Hotel was a very good choice. It's definitly the place to be in Dublin. The bar of the hotel, The Library Bar, is amazing. I was close to everything, pubs, temple bar, trinity college, grafton street...

Ok hotel. Very small rooms, but otherwise ok. Nice bed and very clean. Unbelievable hot water in the shower with we couldn't adjust. Good service in the reseption and breakfastroom. Library bar was very busy and quite noisy. Also a bit noisy from bar outside at night

Our room on the 4th floor was large, warm and comfy. Shower a bit grubby but worked well. Pricy and no brekkie I included but I had only booked 6 days ahead so probably was my own fault. Great central location. The Library Bar is lovely.

I use a mobility scooter and staying at the Central Hotel means I do not have to look for wheelchair accessible taxis as everywhere I want to go in Dublin is nearby. The Hotel is an historic listed building which means they cannot put in a permanent ramp at the front door but the staff are so quick to help... More

This hotel is clean, neat and beautifully located. The staff is helpful, but not overly so. Mainly, though the rooms are small, you walk out into the sites and sounds of Dublin, so who wants to be in the room.

Old world charm and the best location. Anywhere in central Dublin is in walking distance Very cozy bar on the first floor. Nice staff..I stayed here twice. Rooms are not fancy but comfortable, with facilities for tea/coffee. Very reasonable rates. Free wi-fi. I will stay here again.

We stayed here on a few different ovations over the last few years. The hotel is a city center hotel with a lot going for it. The staff are nice through out from reception to accommodation staff. Never have tried the food but been talking to people who have eaten there before said it's nice. The rooms are ok. Starting... More
