Stayed 1 night in this hotel, it was my first time there but I will be back. Great location, nice comfortable, clean rooms with good nice bathroom with bath and shower. Good value for money, lovely bar on first floor with nice staff in reception and bar. Great restaurants in a few minutes of hotel. Overall a great place to... More

Okay, the rooms in this hotel are not the most chic, it's true. But, the location cannot be beat! So many great restaurants, bars, the Fallon & Byrne Gourmet Food Store are within a block that I was in heaven. Not to mention the Library Bar on the first floor has got to be the coolest bar in Dublin. The... More

Comfortable room. Great bathroom with shower and bath. Good breakfast. Easy walking distance to bus tours, shopping, Trinity college and other attractions. We took the airport shuttle and this hotel was only a five minute walk from the stop.

I had stayed at The Central previously so I didn't hesitate to rebook for this trip. The quality of the hotel has definitely declined. The double room I had was tiny!!! 2 people would have fallen over eachother just to get to the bathroom. The walls are paper thin so when the occupants of the room next door decided to... More

The Central Hotel is lovely and charming, as the name suggests central to all attractions, the staff are very friendly. We didn't eat there due to our flight times but the hotel bar was reasonably priced. Yes it can be noisy at night due to the bars around it, but wasn't an issue for our party. I would definitely return... More

Ignore the negatives. Yes it is a bit noisy but this is a CITY CENTRE hotel! If The law stops lorries coming into the city then I guess all hotels in the city will have the same noise factor, unless of course you book a modern hotel, which you will not get in the centre of Tenple bar. I am... More

The hotel location is just like the name says, central. The staff is great. The library bar is special. The only downside is the street noise that is loud and late, but there isn't much the hotel can do about that.

Location - Very convenient hotel for anything you want to do in Dublin City Centre. Two minutes from Grafton Street and very close to a choice of restaurants. Also, it's easy walking distance from Temple Bar if you are looking for nightlife/buzz. Unfortunately, because of its central location, you can experience late night noise. Rooms - There are numerous different... More

We stayed on the third floor of this quaint hotel. We had two rooms. The staff are polite and helpful, there is an award winning bar on the first floor and breakfast was ok. The hotel is noisy. Really, really noisy. I know people will say "if you stay in the centre of Dublin, you expect noise" but this is... More
