Grafton Guesthouse was perfect for our needs. We weren't planning on spending much time in our rooms, so we didn't need anything extravagant. The property was centrally located to everything we could possibly want to walk to; the staff were very friendly and helpful; the beds were comfortable, and the room had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely... More

This hotel was super crappy and their 'remodel" just made it look like a construction site. The stairs were quite a hassle with luggage and not to mention their reception is in a different building. Our room was tiny and the noise outside the window at night was miserable. NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY!!!

Location and breakfast fantastic! However it's important that people are aware that there is no lift, and the stairs are quite steep. Not nice when you have heavy suitcases. Room and bathroom very small. No remote for TV.

If you plan on visiting Dublin for the wonderful pubs and bars and you want to be right in the middle of all of it, you don't have to seek any further to find a place to stay. Grafton Guesthouse is a wonderful guesthouse/hotel. They are currently renovating rooms and the new ones are simple, but comfortable with an impressively... More

We were so incredibly pleased with the Grafton Guesthouse! It was so affordable and offered an amazing location for exploring Dublin--and it was also clean and quiet, save a little street noise at night (but if you want to avoid that, you'd best stay in the suburbs). All of the staff was super friendly and helpful, the breakfast next door... More

Great location, only a few blocks from the main bus route in Dublin. The front desk stored our luggage until check in time, and on the day we left, they keep our luggage until it was time for us to catch the train. The people at the front desk were very helpful. Our room was older, but clean. The room... More

Grafton Guesthouse is perfectly located--walking distance to all tourist spots, safe neighborhood, good restaurants close by, friendly staff. It is under renovation. Older rooms are considerably less expensive. Personally we were fine with the older room. Yes, it has an older red carpet, wallpaper from the 60's or 70's, a bathroom with cracked tiles, but it is clean, has a... More

UPDATE AUGUST 2015. The bed & breakfast (B & B) is located in a spectacular old building, and the collection of rooms, although small, is clean, comfortable and more than affordable. I received a notice from the property that it is undergoing renovations, with the room aesthetic being more minimalist and cool (pictured below.) I can’t wait to return in... More

We stayed just the one night and arrived at around 6pm on a Friday night. This would be perfect if we were 18-35 as the hotel is close to Temple Bar. We stayed in the penthouse which had 80 steps to go up. Not a lot of fun with heavy suitcases. But the apartment was big enough and the teenagers... More
