Stayed only one night. Fabulous room - 5ft bed and very comfortable. The bar Staff were so friendly and helpful. They are a credit to the hotel. Didn't eat there but saw the food others were having and it looked amazing. Will definitely eat in next time. It is so central and well priced. I really do love this hotel.... More

Just back from a trip here. This is without a doubt a hotel which would be greatly improved with a bit more detail on the little things. Don't get me wrong the hotel and its gardens are beautiful and the huge skylight window in reception is stunning but it strangely seems to be the little things that the hotel just... More

This is a nice hotel and is well located but breakfast spoiled our stay. The food was absolutely stone cold. When I had eaten what I could of it I went back up to get a Danish. The hotel staff were serving themselves to the buffet. I had to queue behind them and one lady pushed in and took the... More

The room was beautiful and Imaccuately clean. I went to Toms Bar to watch football. Working in the catering trade I was very impressed with what I saw. What I assumed was the manager served a bowl of soup to a customer- he came and asked how it was- the customer didnt like it. He was offered a different flavor... More

I stayed last week attending a tourism trade fair in the RDS arena next door. The hotel is perfectly located and has parking too. The hotel must be an old school or convent but has real character. Stayed in an executive room, room was very clean, comfortable bed, free high speed wifi and one of the best hotels TVs I've... More

No compendium in the room Had to ask twice for fresh towels They did not print our boarding passes which were arranged the night before. Food was over priced and didn't offer much selection. Vegatables were brought out separate. After 10mins of waiting my wife have up and ate her cold steak. to their credit they did refund one loss... More

We chose this hotel because it is 2 min to walk to the RDS where we had an early appointment. Arrived the night before, the room was spotless and spacious. The food in the hotel restaurant was ok, the service is excellent. The waiter overheard me saying that is was our daughter's birthday and when we ordered dessert, the plate... More

I've stayed in some bad hotels over the years - but never felt so compelled to write a review. 1) Checked in and the computer systems were down so was unable to swipe a card for authorisation. Ordered room service that evening, 30 minutes later the food arrived, however I wasn't able to sign against the room as no card... More

Often come up to the big city for special breaks away. Always use suites for the extra experience. This one was so special I'd like to buy the place !! As other reviewers have found its not a suite for extras like fridges, mini bars, sofas or any of the other swanky things you might expect. What it does give... More
