My Wife and myself were booked into the Baily Hotel for two nights on a bed & breakfast basis. When we pulled up outside we were not impressed, but we still entered the hotel. This was at 7pm and the reception was closed. We had to go to the bar to get some attention. When we got booked in we... more

I was booked into this poor excuse of a hotel by my employer for a 5 night stay, on arival there was no lift and the employee working had a major attitude helping me with my bag. Inside my room the ceiling of he bathroom was completely covered in mold and behind the sink was covered in mildue, the windws... more

I recently stayed at the Bailey Hotel in Howth. The setting is amazing, the hotel was only so-so. The rooms were fantastic, spotless and clean. The lounge was a different story though-its in desperate need of a make-over, smelt horribly like men's toilet urinals. I asked an employee whether the door could be closed, and I was told that it... more

It was slightly rundown and slightly shabby but still ok. I'd go back there again. The shaving light in my room was broken and it took some doing to get them to mend it. One of the staff said "Well, none of them work" as though this was an explanation. Apart from that it was fine. Staff friendly. more

Stayed here last month and was really disappointed. The location is great, just seconds from the harbour of the lovely town of Howth. However its once you pass reception the problems start. The corridors are narrow, low and dark. The rooms are clean but stark. The bathroom was really new and modern with jet shower and bath. Great if it... more

I have just returned from the Baily Hotel in Howth and cannot agree with the negative comments previously written about this hotel. It has just been refurbished and it is a very clean and smart hotel. The staff are wonderful, very chatty and they cannot do enough for you. The food was lovely and very good value. The rooms were... more

We stayed at the Baily Hotel on a Friday night in Feburary. I had read the previous reviews and was expecting some noise, but for the money we paid (£30 each B&B) we weren't that bothered. We were given an attic room at the back of the Hotel, which needed some updating - e.g. the bath was slightly damaged and... more

Just had an excellent stay at the Baily Court. The rooms are newly refurbished, very comfortable with jacuzzi baths and luxurious showers. Breakfast was good and in all it was very good value. more

The two more positive reviews of this hotel surprise me, as my experiece was a decidedly negative one. The hotel is in a nice location over looking Howth, but the hotel itself is a big disappointment. The room we were given was shabby and looked as though housekeeping barely gave it a glance. The carpets in particular were very grubby... more
