This has been my third time at the Sky Backpackers. I keep coming back even though I have the need to see as many hostels as possible. So What I will be writing here - is after checking out 90% of the hostels that Dublin had to offer: This is the BEST place I have stayed in!!! The place is... More

We visited here for a one night stay at the end of December which was pretty expensive. We primarily chose Sky Backpackers due to its central location and proximity to Temple Bar. We arrived quite late and received a twin room which was basic but clean with an en suite. Towels were provided but no shampoo or shower gel. Also... More

Stayed at the Sky Backpackers with a group of 9 guys for a friends stag weekend. We were able to book one room of 4 and another of 6, so essentially had private rooms. The beds were bunk beds, very functional and minimal room. My bed seemed to creak loudly upon entering or exiting. The shower water pressure was limited... More

Straight away we felt at home here! The staff were really chilled and the atmosphere in the communal areas was great for mixing and meeting people. We stayed here for a few days then moved on to another nearby hostel due to this place being full - our new hostel was grim and these guys were fine with us coming... More

Stayed here with 5 friends in a private dorm and would highly recommend to anyone wanting somewhere cheap to stay in the City Centre of Dublin. Location was great round the corner from O'Connell Street and just over the bridge from Temple Bar district. The Room itself was was very clean and there was a big mirror and plenty of... More

I was staying at Sky Backpackers for two nights. The location of the hostel is great, close to everything. However, if you're looking for party or meet new people, it is not for you. It's quiet but clean and tidy, at least the inside of the hostel. I found that outside street is a bit messy. The price is abit... More

Hey. The stay was great in general but for such a high price (50 EUR/night average in a 6 bed dorm) I'd expect a bit more of luxury in the rooms. The beds could be larger and some equipment provided there. There wasn't even a table, or a clothes hanger, or anything closely resembling to furniture, not speaking of a... More

Excellent location, friendly staff and convenient, clean room for six with ensuite (- could do with four more sockets) However, as some of the previous reviews state, please be warned the street is unsafe. Please take extra care when you walk back late at night !
