The hotel itself is fairly outdated and in need of upgrading which is never really a problem if it's compensated for by good customer service. Unfortunately the pearse hotel does not compensate. Customer service was fairly poor. No hot water on one of the mornings and no apology for same, front desk staff for the most part appear disinterested and... More

Stayed in a room for 3 people,2 double beds, very comfortable and clean. All the standard facilities you would expect are provided tea/coffee etc.The gentleman who greeted us at check in was very friendly and informed us we would receive an upgrade to include breakfast. This was a nice touch seeing as we travelled to Dublin anyway for the weekend regardless of the... We were kept up most of the night by loud, obnoxious drunks on the pavilion just below our windows. It was too hot to even think about closing the windows. We were still hot and sweaty with the windows open, and we couldn't sleep because of all the traffic and pedestrian noise. The beds were hard, and pillows were too.... More

I stayed for two nights in the Pearse Hotel in Dublin recently. Booked a twin room and was delighted to find that there were two king sized beds. This hotel used to be a Holiday Inn and that should give most readers an idea of what to expect. The staff were excellent. Reception were very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. I had... More

I stayed here on a Wednesday night as I was seeing a show in the board gais energy theatre. The hotel was in a great location 5 min walk to the theatre. The rooms were clean and spacious, well worth €89 including breakfast would definitely stay there again. My only gripe being the bar closed early there is no residents... More

We booked a room for four, which consisted of a room with two queen beds, an electric water kettle, several packs of instant coffee, an old iron with iron board, a chair and small table, desk, a very outdated TV. The bathroom included stained towels and black mold was included free of charge. So were the little silver fish. The... More

Dublin was our last stop on a three week tour of Europe. We never stayed anywhere for more than two days and we stayed in many hotels. I have to say this was the worst of our entire trip. First of all, stepping into our hotel room was like stepping back into 1978. Sad and old and dated. Wifi... every... More

Stayed for one night in the quadruple room to go to a concert with my partner and two of his family members was basic comfortable warm and clean. Located beside a pizza place and a shop. We got a takeaway on the way back from the concert from the pizza place and there was no problem bringing it back to... More

Hotel is a former Holiday Inn and you can see why this location was dropped long ago. The entire building is old and in need of care. From the flies in the lobby to the humid, hot rooms leaving you sticky (Windows only open 2 inches and there is not way to cool the room.) The place was visually clean... More

First of all, unless you google-map this hotel and look at the scale, the map the hotel's website shows makes it look very close to town. It is not. Depending on how fast you walk, it can be 20 mins-30 mins (for a family with small kids) to just get to Trinity College. If you come from the airport, you... More
