Stayed overnight recently. Reception was manned by alert and polite staff member. No buzz in the lobby, very much a business type hotel. Bar to the left doubles as Breakfast room...which doesn't add to the experience. Building works were ongoing during our visit and dust was inevitably in evidence, not much they could do about that to be fair. The... More

Clean and comfortable but needs better soaps and shampoos, decent towels and a hair dryer. Just a little far from town to comfortably walk to late at night. Staff could be a little more friendly but otherwise a nice stay.

This is my first time ever writing a review for a hotel online but I really want to make people aware of how bad this place actually is! There is a much nicer Maldron around the corner on Cardiff Lane! On first impression the hotel seemed fine (apart from the dodgy area) but as soon as we started chatting to... More

The hotel changed names and is now the Maldron Hotel and is currently under rennovation. This means you will be woken up on Sunday morning with the sounds of a drill and construction work. As said, the hotel is not finished, this is evident in the rooms which still smell like paint and look quite good, but are simply missing... More

Now the Maldron Hotel. First time to stay here & wont be the last. The moment we stepped out of the lift to check in, we were greeted with a welcoming smile from the receptionist. Check in was smooth & informative. The rooms are (recently renovated) beautifully designed & give the impression of a higher rated hotel. The staff show... More

We booked this hotel as the "Pearse Hotel" but it has since been done up and taken over. Great hotel. Short walk to main city tourist area. Very clean rooms and great bathroom. Couldn't fault it. Ideal for a group break.

I visited here recently on a quick trip to Dublin. This hotel is now under a new name of the 'Maldron' hotel. Having stayed here for two nights I would say it was good value for money as the location was good enough and the room space was quite large. However as far as staff and overall experience I would... This is formally the please street hotel. Not a great street. Very shabby. But when we got inside we were very surprised. Its a lovely hotel inside and not very inviting on the outside. My first impression was oh god, did we make a mistake. He receptionist was so friendly and chatty. Something rare in receptionosts these days. The room... More

I stayed here as part of a group for one night which was a Saturday night. From check in to check out the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is about a 10 min walk to the city center or about €8 in a taxi for 4 people. The hotel is currently and being renovated and we were... More
