My mam, 3 sisters and I make an annual after xmas trip to dublin and one of my sisters had booked this hotel. We parked on the footpath outside to hotel to run in and find out where the hotel parking was. The lady on reception was called Catherine, she even left her desk and came out to the front... More

The hotel was having work done so quite noisy during the day time with banging and drilling . The rooms were spacious, clean and comfy. Breakfast was good but the evening meals were awful, under cooked steak and cold. Some staff were polite others weren't . This hotel is no good for couples as they seem to allow large groups... I stayed in this hotel in November 2014 with a group of girls, and I have to say it was a frightening experience when we look back on it. This story sounds made up, but it’s quite serious! Initially on check-in, our room key let us into what we thought was our room (but we had mistaken the room no)... More

After a show at the Bord Gais Energy Theater I decided to tream my girlfriend to a night in a hotel. I went to the front door of the hotel and it was locked. A man slowly got up from reception and opened a side door and just looked at me. I said "sorry can i inquire about a room",... More

We booked 1 night in the Maldron, the 31st December. The rate was outrageous (€269) but we accepted this knowing that it was NYE, it's Dublin and quite a central location. But when we arrived at the hotel we received a less than professional welcome, more a flustered I don't have time for this welcome. I was asked to pay... More

The hotel was nice, a few minor dirty areas, but ok. The shower and tub had some mold, and the carpet looked really old. The people that work there were very nice and helpful. The restaurant/ bar that is attached was great. The location is about 10-15 blocks from Trinity College and Temple Bar. Easy walk to the above mentioned.

We visited the Pearse Hotel on Monday 22nd of December for lunch. When we arrived we were told that we must order from the bar food menu as they were not doing carvery service as it was Christmas week. Between four people we ordered pasta, salads, chips and soup with water. We waited 25 minutes for our food to arrive.... More

The rooms in this hotel are gigantic and bathrooms are enormous as well. I had no real experience with the staff so I cannot say if they were friendly or helpful. They did not offer a free breakfast either. As far as rooms go, they were big enough for a family with room to spare, and the bathroom was bigger... More
