My wife and I went to Dublin for 4 nights to visit our daughter who is studying at Trinity College. Fitzsimons was in a comfortable walking Distance to Trinity, all the shopping Districts, Guiness Storehouse and the Pubs and Restaurants where just outside at the Temple Bar. The hotel can be a bit noisy as it is a music pub/disco... More

I wasn't expecting much after reading the previous reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. Warm welcome from the receptionist on arrival. Room on 1st floor,it was clean, comfortable bed & even bottles of water! Staff in the bar were very friendly, drinks expensive but it is Temple Bar. Had a lie in the next morning & found it hard to get out... More

I will get the good bits out of the way first. Breakfast wasn't bad and the location is nice and central. Stayed her at the weekend and it is definitely one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. The rooms are pretty tired and not particularly clean. The hotel has a bar which is open until around 4... More

Was staying here this month. To start girl in the reception was not really welcoming and cold. Was requested a quite room, I got it but the room was totally an acceptable, dirty voiles on the window, dusty window pane, shower in the bathroom was broken. Calling the receptionist telling her about the room she don't even had the effort... More

Great postion overlooking River & backing on to Temple Bar where all the pubs & restaurants are. Also has bar underneath with great food & live music. Short walk over bridge which is situated right across road over to Dublin City shopping. Comfortable clean room. Great breakfast over looking River.

Stayed here with the lads for one night. Brilliant location being right on the Liffy and in the Temple Bar area but that is all that is good with this hotel. Really really noisy due to the location of hotel, so if your not planning on passing out you will get no sleep. Our reservation included breakfast however they charged... More

I stayed here recently with a mate who was over for the weekend. I knew exactly what we were getting into, a cheap twin room to crash out after a long night out on the town. Thank God that's what we were doing, this place is terrible for anyone but those who are just looking for somewhere to sleep off... More

Seriously, I thought for a while that we must have been on a hidden camera show or something. Asked for the quietest room possible at the time of booking and was told checking in that yes, we were getting their quietest room: Room 312 (cue horror movie music). I swear, this is the worst place I have ever stayed -... More

Stayed here with my girlfriend and daughter. On arrival we were not even greeted by the receptionist it was like we wasn't welcome here. Now for the room well terrible to say the least, outdated decor, dirty shower and bath, Windows filthy, stale smell in room. Also I must add that if you like a peaceful nights sleep then don't...
