The location is fantastic, but really noisy when you're trying to go to sleep. The room was a bit small. The internet and the phone did not work either night that we were there. The second night that we were there, we asked to be moved because of the noise. The best they could do was stick us in a... more

I arranged a trip to Dublin along with a group of 8. It was just the right spot for us: Right next to the bars and in walk distance to city attactions such as Guiness storehouse, Jameson, city hall etc. With a bar right next door, we could enjoy the "black stuff" and walk directly to bed. However the noise... more

If you have been to the Temple Bar area you'll either know it as a cool place with plenty of fun bars or as a terrible place with too many bars. This Hotel is right at the west end of the Temple bar area. The Fitzsimons is also a bar who's moniker is "5 bars, 4 floors, 3 DJ's, 2... more

Me and my boyfriend stayed at the Fitzsimons for 3 nights and it was fantastic. The reception staff were very friendly, as were the staff at the breakfast bar. When booking I was told it included an irish breakfast but once we arrived it was actually continental breakfast. I still enjoyed it with a choice of toast, cereal, juice, yoghurts... more

The location is absolutely brilliant, room was clean and comfortable, staff was polite and breakfast very nice with different kinds of bread, cereals and fruits. Yes it was (a little bit noisy) at night, but is it really hotel's fault if tourists can't behave themselves? If one likes peace and quiet, maybe they shouldn't stay at Temple Bar area at... more

Having read the reviews on this site after I booked, I was a little worried about what to expect. I needn't have worried though as all the staff we dealt with in the hotel and bar couldn't have been more helpful (accommodating our request to have a 'quieter' room overlooking the Liffey, as suggested here) and recommending good places to... more

checked in by a male non national, checkin was fine but once we received our key we were left to our devises to find where we were going as his mate arrived and the proceeded to have a full blown conversation in their own language, very rude indeed. We went to the bar to get some drinks as they do... more

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel after reading the many reviews on here. We stayed there in the middle of September and yes while there is a lot of noise, the hotel itself was very pleasant. All staff we saw were very friendly, the breakfast was great and the room while small was ideal for a short break. Yes... more

Was dreading going to this hotel as I read reviews after booking it. However, we had a great time. The rooms were ok, very clean, as was the bedding, towels and bathrooms. Receptionist was good, even managed to swap our rooms as there had been a mix up with the booking, and we saw 3 different receptionists during our stay,... more
