I had a nice three bed room, with three large floor to ceiling windows. Excellent view to the night life around temple bar. Luckily I had my ear plugs with me. The hotel seemed to be so poor condition that I had a feeling being on the street when laying in my bed. I could follow the music from the... More

Living in Dublin I can say this is one of the best places to stay as I think it is an ideal location. The room itself was not that expensive but the bar and club area were quite pricey but in the Temple Bra area that is the norm. We had a very basic room with a lovely balcony overlooking... More

Me and a friend visited dublin for the first time, we didn't have a clue where to stay and picked the fitzsimons hotel due to the price and location. We weren't expecting much and after reading the reviews we were dreading to go! However we both thought it was absolutely brilliant! The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful ! Especially... Great location but more of a 2 Star budget accommodation than a 3star hotel It was clean, small and noisy... We basically needed a bed for the night as we were attending our office party nearby and it fitted the bill on location and price. I would not recommend for longer than a one to two night stay and definitely... More

I did read alot of bad reviews before staying here so was a little bit apprehensive but I must say we were pleasantly surprised - we found the hotel to be clean, comfortable, warm and the most perfectly located hotel in the city - what more could you want! The value was excellent too, receptionist that checked us in was... More

Stayed here over the weekend with a friend, we were just looking for somewhere to sleep after a days exploring and drinks at night! After reading reviews I was slightly hesitant about staying here but we couldn't have asked for more! The staff were really friendly and even brought us prosecco as room service when we decided to carry on... More

This hotel was amazing. My mum and I came over from Australia to stay in Dublin only for a few days and I don't think we could've chosen a better hotel. We ended up paying a little bit extra to get a room with a balcony and it was so worth it. The view was amazing and I love that... More

Only stayed for one night with friends, as others have said the hotel is quite dated. But we found our rooms clean and comfortable, hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The biggest selling point though is the location, right in the heart of Temple Bar so if your looking for a quiet night this is not the place to stay.... More

Very unhappy with this hotel. It's more like a hostel. Its filthy and desperately needs a painting or a bed that's not broken. ... on arrival we were giving consessions into the night club so decided to go in as we went to a show and headed back to the bar afer it. We were refused entry by the girl... More

Having been rushed into hospital two nights before my trip to Dublin with my husband for a gallbladder operation the hotel still charged us even though we cancelled as soon as I was admitted, hospital and doctors letters were offered to the management as the cancellation was discussed on the phone to no avail and frankly my husband was spoken...
