My friend and i stayed here for st patricks weekend and loved everything about it. Loved dublin and the aston hotel we found to be really good. Very helpful staff, let us keep luggage there before we checked in and out. Rooms very nice and had a view of the river and the noise didnt really bother us at all.So... more

My wife and I decided to spend New Years in Dublin. We looked into the Aston Hotel in Temple Bar. The reviews mostly raved about the location and left us wondering about the rest, but we took our chances and booked it. To put it simply, we were glad we did. During our four-night stay, we never heard of any... more

Great little hotel, right in centre, next to temple bar and 5 mins walk across bridge to O'Conell Street (big shopping street), we walked to all the sights from here, no problems. We had a riverview room where you could hear the traffic at night but we could live with that for such a good location and view. Booked a... more

The hotel is very simple, but clean. It's a good stay for a one-nighter, right before or after your flight. Located right next to the Liffey River, a five minute walk from the temple bar, and a five minute walk from O'Connel st., the location is just great. The hotel does not have its own parking lot, so if you... more

Our room was broken into at the Aston. We locked it as we left for dinner one evening and when we returned the door was wide open, lights on and our belongings scattered on our beds. My camera, glasses, two phone chargers and a camera charger were stolen. The staff were uncooperative other than offering to call the police, and... more

The hotel had a reasonable price, centrally located, very close to temple bar and all important sights of Dublin. We had a well sized room with three beds, although we booked a double. The bathroom was small, without window, not dirty, but could have been cleaner. Breakfast was very good. Staff friendly and helpful. Our room was to the river-side.... more

The location was great (very close to Temple Bar, Trinity, and Grafton). We did not get the breakfast (was not included in room). Staff was friendly, but not overly helpful. Room was adequate, but certainly nothing special. Right off the Liffey, so lot of pedestrian traffic right outside hotel. If driving, be prepared to pay for nearby parking down the... more

Just returned from a long weekend at the Aston Hotel and had a good time. Pros: Location, located on the Liffey, around the corner from Temple Bar, and walking distance to all the main sites. Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Cons: A bit noisy at times because of the location. Outside the hotel was a bus stop so the... more

The best thing going for this hotel is the location. I have stayed here twice, and both occasions it was a clean and adequate room. On one occasion there was a very noisy group in the room next to us but once management got involved they became quiet. more

By american standards this hotel is not worth the money, but this isn't America. Location was great,(especially for Temple Bar area) and a easy walk to Trinity College, O'Connel St. and all public transport. Room was small and basic, furniture in a modern style. Bathroom was fairly large with a tub (I wouldn't use it)...hotel is on a busy street... more
