My elderly parents were attending a wedding on this weekend in Dublin and chose the charlemount for its location on the Luas line. (Wedding in Ranelagh, shopping in Grafton St.!), location could not have been better. My wife and I joined them for dinner in the hotel on their first night. Pre theatre menu was priced at 22€ for 3... More

this hotel was lovely, large clean room, nice shower and only ten minute walk to Stephens green or 2 stops on the Luas which is right outside the hotel door and costs €1.50 each way. Breakfast was great with a large selection of hot and cold food. Only down side is price of drinks, €3.50 for a bottle of Lucozaze... More

We have just had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The bedrooms had everything that we could have wanted (well stocked tea tray and kettle/ ironing board and iron/ hairdryer/ safe/ mini bar if required/ ice machine on each floor), comfortable beds, nice bedding, a comfy chair and foot stool, side table, chair and desk, large television. The attention paid... More

My family spent 2 weeks in Ireland and this hotel, by far was their favorite! Beautiful rooms, great location, and the best free breakfast buffet, we have ever encountered. We also ate dinner at the hotel restaurant, and it was absolutely delicious-great appetizers, and entrees. The concierge, gave excellent recommendations, and directions and was wonderful. An added plus was the... More

Whilst the hotel rooms themselves were comfortable and the location of the hotel good, the hallways throughout the hotel looked exactly like a hospital, the place just felt and smelt like a hospital, each level felt like moving from ward to ward.....the place is in need of a renovation. Apart from that it was okay. The wine in the bar... More

We stayed at the Hilton Dublin in May 2011. It was a gret hotel, however a little far from the city center. We were able to walk it in the morning and it took about 20-25 minutes, but did not feel safe walking back at night, so we took cabs (which are NOT cheap!). The distance from the city center... Spent 2 nights here recently with my husband and 11 yr old daughter. Very easy to find and literally a stones throw from the LUAS, from which you are in Stephen's Green in just 2 stops. The room was really lovely but a little small for 3 of us. My daughter had to sleep on a sofa bed as the... More

Disappointing and not up to standard. Ridiculous location and very difficult to find. Not new to Ireland, Dublin, or local hotels and this is sub par.
