My friend and I stayed at the Abbey in May, never being in Dublin before this hotel was smack in the middle of everything. Couldn't have gotten a better location, or better price. The rooms were spotless, a little out dated, but still very comfortable and the staff was unbelievably helpful. They booked us tours, printed off maps and basically... more

This hotel is in a fantastic spot, close to all public transport and right in the heart of the city. Its under new management which didn't effect us in the slightest. Rooms are comfy and staff are friendly and very helpful. Would stay here if I ever make it back to Dublin. more

A bad start: we book a 2 bedrooms appartment and were given only a 1 bedroom one. We had to find out ourselves while eneterring the flat! Always print your reservation proof! Luckily not all guests had arrived so we were given two rooms in the hotel instead, but we had to insist to obtain some money back. Also when... more

Stayed in room 103 for three nights which my girlfriend booked due to the great location. Room itself was tired but saying that spotlessly clean and exactly what you would expect for the money. However, my stay was spoilt by a clearly broken mattress which meant I hardly got any sleep whatsoever. If this had been replaced we would have... more

The 2 stars of this hotel are the reception staff and location. You really can't beat the location and the coach from the airport drops you off virtually at the top of the street. The hotel is just the other side of river from the main part of town. It's on a street that's quiet during the day but can... more

We stayed at this hotel because it was, at the time, the most affordable hotel that was centrally located and offered a full breakfast! We were right next to alot of the shops and fun places to hit up - everything you would really want to do was within 2-3 minute walk down O'Connell Street. The hotel is small, and... more

First night woken at 12.30am to a massive very loud leak on the ceiling directly above our bed, rang reception and they didn't want to move us but gave us a twin room, I said as they couldnt fix or... more

I booked the hotel directly and had a great experience with that, as Alexandra (the female receptionist) was very helpful. We arrived and were checked into our room with no problems. The room (#103) was clean and although the bathroom needed to be updated (cracked tiles, etc.) the room itself was cozy and pretty much what we had expected for... more

Great 3 days stay! Hotel is very near to shopping area (fit for the purpose of our trip!). Our room in 1st floor is very nice. Beds are comfortable and room is clean. Room is big enough. Noise can be too loud from downstairs but tiredness overcomes other obstacle! Breakfast is large which good!  more
