I checked into the Ripley Court and the staff were so friendly, my room was so comfortable, the staff in the restaurant were amazing as was the food and I was able to relax in the bar without being pushed out of the way by other customers, I was made to feel like I was the only person in the... more

Traveling for business and must say that I thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Ana and Gill at the front desk were welcoming and knowledgeable. The housekeeping staff very kind and helpful. Continental breakfast tasty and very fresh. Walking distance to city centre and some great restaurants. All in all, a perfect business trip. more

On arrival at the hotel, as we had experienced a nightmare upon getting to Dublin, the service from the staff was very good. We were greeted by the security guard at the main doors of the hotel, security is there 24hrs a day. The reception staff checked us in and advised how to get to our room. There were lift... more

This is a rare bargain in Dublin - a notoriously expensive city. The hotel is centrally located, spotlessly clean, welcoming and very comfortable. The cost of our 4 night stay was the best part - all for under £200 with a hearty breakfast included. I have little to complain about at all. The Reception team in particular was excellent and... more

Stayed two nights (8,9th Oct 2009). Very convenient to O'Connell Street. On the 3 minute walk from the bus stop in O'Connell Street after arriving on the 16 service from the airport (fare 2.20 euros), travelled up North Earl St on to Talbot Street, the latter looked very run-down, full of discount stores. The hotel was situated right next to... more

Liked the hotel. Everything is basic but clean. Only 2 things upset us and that was a 10 euro charge for parking which we werent informed of till checking out. Also charged 8 euro for breakfast whereas same was breakfast was 7 euro if you walked in off the street. Spoiled a nice stay more

The hotel is about a minutes walk from the bus station, its about a five minute walk to the centre of Dublin. Considering how expensive hotels are, this was really cheap - and its had everything you need. It is basic, but it was clean, had a shower and bath, tv, hairdryer, kettle, safe and loads of storage. We didn't... more

when we arrived at this hotel i couldn't believe how bad the area was. the shops looked tatty and unkempt and there were various foreign supermarkets on the same street. In short it looked like a bit of a dump. The inside of the hotel was beautiful and clean. The check in staff were lovely. The room was an ok... more

After reading a mixed bag of reviews on this site I didn't quite know what to expect but was pleasantly suprised. Ok, the location might not be the best as the street seems a bit run down, but it seemed safe and we did not have any problems. The room was spacious (would say really big even as it could... more
