I have stayed in different hotels around the globe so have a sensible idea about hotels and here I stayed in this hotel for one week, very homely and clean , nice staff, welcoming and friendly receptionists, clean bathrooms and good services(although I didn't like the hot and cold water settings in sink), perfect for people visiting Dublin looking for... This hotel is like the friendly but toothless tramp who strikes up a conversation with you when you're outside a pub smoking a cigarette. Like the tramp, this hotel also lives under a bridge in a borderline part of town. Also like the tramp, this hotel could use some serious reconstructive surgery to fix its grill, a long bath for... The worst street in Dublin, dark dingy foyer, small dark room that the sheets were wet, when informing reception I was asked (at 10.30pm) to come down and they would get me a new room,I made sure they came up to me! No help with unpacked bags and was given a room with 4 beds.I pulled cord for basin light and... More

The hotel itself was over priced. Breakfast was disgusting and also cost €32. The Irish breakfast was uneatable apart from the beans and pudding. My jaw nearly dropped paying for the breakfast as we hardly touched our fry on the first morning and only had cereal the second morning. The room was outdated with broken tiles and the ironing board... More

Myself and a friend stayed here on 04/04/2015. When we arrived it was a bit confusing as when you enter you come to what you think is the reception desk but it isn't. We were met by a big burly gentleman who directed us to the reception area. The receptionist was lovely and really friendly. We had some friends meeting... More

I stayed here one night, the rooms were really acient and pictures don't justify the rooms need upgrade and hotel itself needs upgrade and some lighting as you enter the reception its pretty dark. would highly recommend that some floor lamps are installed, at least. The staff were friendly, and we were glad there was a lift. The view from... More

This is NOT a family hotel. Ok for stag parties. Not for children, couples or luxury! Views from rooms were either rowdy teenagers or junk & barbed wire aircon units- rough is maybe an understatement. Our next hotel was half the price, yet twice the quality!! I know where we'll stay next time.

I stayed here with a friend who is visually impaired. The dark lobby made it difficult for her to see. I would highly recommend that some floor lamps are installed, at least. The staff were friendly, and we were glad there was a lift. The room itself was clean enough, but the style was very outdated. There was broken tiles... More

I stayed in this hotel for a short break in Dublin. After seeing the reviews on Booking.com (should have checked trip advisor!) I thought I had managed to get a great deal on a good hotel. Once I got there, I have to admit I was a little disappointed. The room was outdated and not the cleanest. It wasn't exactly... More
