We asked for a twin room and what we got was a four person room and we had to share with two people we had never met.a system problem or something apparently.so yes not quite what i was after but apparently it was a busy weekend there and we would struggle to get a room somewhere else.to be fair the... I stay 3 days in this hostel. I have been in many hostels but this one is the worse far far away. do you know this sensation when you arrived in the wrong place? Staff: The guy that work there is not friendly. some seconds after we arrived he demand the money. without a Hello, or How are you. and... More

Since Dublin was packed with people for the Notre Dame vs. Navy game and the Dublin vs. Mayo game (weekend of September 1 and 2nd) and the only hotel left charged around 650,- euro a night! We booked a room @ Celts House. We stayed with 2 in a 4 bedroom which was ok. The fridge was broke and the... More

I saw the photos of this hostel and thought it looked clean, fairly new and bright! I would love to know what camera they were taken with because it didnt look anything like the photos when we arrived! I stayed in a mixed dorm which was downstairs and windows were below pavement level (old style irish house) so it wasn't... More

Let me start with the negatives: - We got in at 1am on a Thursday night, exhausted - the owner demanded money from us straight away, no "hi, how are you?," "welcome," or anything. - There was only one staff member - the 'friendly' guy mentioned above. So a lot of the time you couldn't find him. No one was... More

I spent two nights at this hostel in March 2012. The rooms were tiny and looked nothing like the photos. They were also in a state of much needed repair and a much needed clean- there was hairs everywhere! No safe or even a table in the room. The shower was tiny and again in need of a very long... More

Not really well situated, this hostel doesn't look like one actually... The staff is quite nice and helpful, but the rooms are really tiny and the bathroom is microscopic. Kitchen is OK. Not noise at all during the night. But I guess You could find some better place to stay in for the same price!

I only spent two nights at this hostel. Luckily for me, I was travelling with a group of 20 other people, making this trip most enjoyable despite the low quality of this hostel. The rooms are very small and cramped, there tend to be far too many beds in relation to the size of the room. Tere isn't even a... More

There is only one good thing about this hostel - the location - well by location I mean that you can walk to O'Connell street quite quickly. It was a disaster from the start. When we arrived at about 4pm we had to wait for ages for someone to come and acknowledge we were there. Then the guy that runs... More

Staff at this hostel was the most friendly and helpful i've ever met!!! Rooms were clean, bathrooms were very small, but clean. Very communal feel, everyone was amazing, met life long friends while staying here. GREAT location too, just a short jaunt to shopping, university, resturants, bars, nightclubs...
