My wife dragged me here for a holiday as it was close to the airport. When we arrived we actually stood in shock staring at the building. It looked old and run-down and it wasn't much better inside My stay here at the Regency hotel was far from pleasant. The room i stayed in was very stuffy and there was... More

Our family unfortunately stayed here for two nights under a family package. B&B, evening meal and zoo family pass. Straight off we booked car park with is €9 a day. Car park is at the rear of the hotel. You feel exploited in paying for car park as barriered and I can't see who else would be parking here. They... More

We stayed on the family summer deal which included a ticket to the zoo. We checked in early got our zoo ticket and headed to the zoo. Then came back to check in, we were given a small room with double, single and camp bed!! Hardly any room to move! Dinner was included which was ok!! Breakfast is just ok... More

Just after a two night package break here with my partner and four teenagers, have to say we can be fussy and this hotel was brilliant, rooms were lovely and clean, hotel reception staff were great, and the girl running the shanard restaurant on the Sunday night (23/08/15) and her staff were so helpful and friendly, the food was lovely,... We arrived to reception around half six to check in, when we tried talk to the male receptionist he was very rude and chose to ignore us and didn't answer our question so we had to wait until the female came! When we were given our key we went to our room, in which was beside three rooms which were... More

Reception staff: The guy with long hair had no notion of what good customer service was. He continually picked up the phone when I tried to check in and ask a few questions about the area. Keys: Often didn't work and need reactivated. Rooms: Bathroom smells a bit stale/pongy. The toilet didn't flush. You had to keep jerking the handle... More

Spent one night here and generally quite good. Reception staff were busy but quite good, rooms were a reasonable size and clean. Well off the road so little noise although walls of hotel are thin and you can hear next doors TV etc. breakfast was a standard affair with staff happy to accommodate reasonable requests although a few smiles would... Arrived at the hotel for a midweek special, from the outside the hotel looks worse than it actually is inside and to be honest, you get what you pay for. If you are looking to live it up in the lap of luxury this is not the place. wew were on the second, floor and the rooms was quite smallish... More
