Staff quite rude in restaurant. Food awful potatoes absolutely awful!! Parking 10€ extra and not specified anywhere! Overall bad experience as toilet and sink in room broken also- would not recommend and will not stay again despite convenient location.

I stayed at the Regency Hotel Dublin for 5 nights in May 2012. I selected this hotel for only one reason: it is close to Dublin City University where I had to do some business. It is on the way from the airport to the downtown. It takes around 15 min. by bus (buses go approximately every 10 min.) to... More

I stayed three nights at the Regency Hotel, and I must say that it was much better than I expected (given several reviews I read online). The room was big, the bed huge, and everything was very clean. The reception staff was helpful, as I couldn't connect to the wi-fi network and they lent me an Ethernet cable so that... More

Treating my Hubby to a night away for his birthday. I chose the Regency mainly due to it's location - Close to family, friends, walking distance to the sea (Although it is a good long walk so be prepared), good pubs & restaurants. On checking in the receptionist exclaimed we had 'The best room in the hotel' so I was... More

Ever dreamed about traveling back in time? Well, its easy now - book a room in the Regency Hotel Dublin and you"ll be beamed stright into the 80's. Smelly Rooms, old carpets, uncomfortable, very very old beds, empty corridors with flashing lights... Remember " The Shining" ? Well while walking to my room which happened to be like 15 minutes... This hotel looks a bit run down has that musty smell in corridors but the main reason I will never stay here again is because I asked for a late check out at reception his name was flora or something like this. he basically said not a hope and every hour I was not checked out past 12 I would... We stayed at the hotel for three days in May and could not be more satisfied. I contacted the hotel with some questions in advance and they immediately got back to me within an hour. They saved us an expensive cab ride by clearly explaining how to take a #16 bus from the airport which drops you off in front... More

My Husband and I recently stayed at this Hotel for 3 nights in April 2012. The Reception staff were helpful and efficient when checking in, but not really forthcoming with maps of Dublin and how to get anywhere , such as transport into town. We were upgraded to a " better room", which was quite well appointed, a large bed... More

This hotel is located closer to the airport than central Dublin. The cab fare from O'Conelly street is 11 euros. The hotel offers free wifi throughout and the signal is consistent and strong enough for email and FB updates. The room was spacious. We had two beds, one queen and one twin. The room is dark and musty, but turning... More
