just returned from 2 night family package, good value as included tickets to tayto park (which was excellant) leisure centre very good as was our room. Food in restaurant poor quality and service, never ate in bar so cant comment, drinks expensive euro 5.30 per pint, lifts to rooms constantly broke, and your charged per day car parking even as... A first class room with all amenities but our stay totally ruined by the catering part of the hotel. At some tables there was no butter with the rolls and teaspoons had to be requested after coffee was served. The speed of serving was excruciatingly slow and the food was of poor quality when it eventually arrived, the soup being the... We had initially booked a significantly more expensive room closer to the city center, but got such a good offer for the regency that we decided to switch. The outside of the hotel does it no favors whatsoever. I would even go as far as to say that it looks shabby! However, inside it is much better. We were greated... More

First of all I did not stay there thankfully , I found an ads for them in advert for long term staying , I called a lady called carol who said the apartment would cost 1200 € (in the ads the price was 999€) I told to myself I will ask her when I meet her about the changes in... More

Stayed in the Regency for family weekend in Dublin and must say was a bit dubious after reading reviews, however there was no need. Check in was easy and staff extremely helpful dispite a bit of a mix up over rooms. The rooms themselves were fabulous, spacious, bright and modern with all necessary facilities. We ate in both the bar... More

Booked 2 rooms (months ago) together under the same name but when we arrived they couldn't even put us on the same floor. Meal in restaurant was ridiculous...pre heated potatoes and 1 bowl of veg between 4! However, the bar food was excellent! Dust in the room was awful! When we ran the bath the water was a dark red/brown... More

Had three nights here with National Holidays for St Patricks celebrations, our room was 3142 and it was immaculate nice king sized bed very clean but looking over car park and ventilation units, but no problem there. Made use of the swimming pool which is one of the best I've seen, surprised not more guests made use of it. Food... More

I've never reviewed a hotel in my life but just back from a weekend in the Regency and wanted to give my thanks to all the staff in particular Cristina, Dominic and John. I was staying there as I had a work do on the Friday night in the City Centre and meeting family from Santry on the Saturday, I... More

We booked here for an overnight stay before an early morning flight from Dublin airport. We got it really cheap through ebookers and we weren't expecting much but what a pleasant surprise! Our room was wonderful, modern, spacious, lovely bed linen sparkling bathroom and everything very clean. As there was a wedding on in the hotel we asked for a... More

Absolutely terrible stay. Room and maid service satisfactory but downhill from there. No friendly greeting on arrival - just handed the room key - end of. Seating arrangements in the dining room meant that not all tables were accessible from behind by waiters but their way of getting round that was by leaning over other diners or handing the plates...
