I stayed overnight here on a business trip. I didn't avail of the facilities so my review is solely on the room. The room was cold and old fashioned. The bed clothes was an old 'Foxford' blanket and a throw both of which could have done with a good wash. The curtains wouldn't close properly. On a positive note there... More

I found the hotel inviting, clean and vibrant. After reading some of the reviews I was concerned but the staff were attentive, my room was ready at 11am for early check in, and the bar and the bar food were good as well. the hotel was very central and gave easy access to the City and all in all my... Went to Dublin last week to see the world famous, and longest running play in the world - The Mousetrap at the Bord Gais Theatre. The hotel organises everything, down to the last detail. We booked their Theatre deal and this included: Pre-show three course Dinner; transfers to and from the theatre; tickets for the Show and Bed and Breakfast.... More

This is a large, traditional hotel, which has been extended over the years (badly in some areas) and most rooms have been, or are being, updated recently. The positives: some of the reception staff are brilliant and very helpful; rooms we had in our group were clean, fresh, modern/sparse; food in the bar was cooked before you and tasted great;... More

Hotel in need of updating, looking a bit tired, the facilities are pretty good especially the sauna but didn't get to use the swimming pool as they wanted to charge £3 for a hat....and despite the gym being advertised it is not open on Saturdays, the weather was not that great and in the b rochure it said ask at... The hotel has clearly been recently refurbished as the decor was contemporary, though the rooms were a bit soulless in my opinion. I had a double and a single bed in my room which was large and spacious. The bathroom was fine too. So, what was the problem? Breakfast was poor. There were no croissants or pastries, just anaemic toast... More

I love this place. Have stayed 4-5 times in recent months and each time I leave feeling like I've just been home. The staff are the best I've encountered. They are multi lingual and uber-efficient! Nothing is too much trouble. If you want to see multi-tasking at work.....check these guys out! Highly recommended * * * * *

We booked two family rooms a month previously and when we arrived they had no record of booking even though we payed a deposit, thankfully we had a print out if our reservation. We got two rooms but they were twin rooms not family like we had payed for we were two couples with four children between us, we had... More

I read the other reviews for this hotel and was worried about my stay. I spent 2 nights here whilst in Dublin for a conference. It is very convenient for the airport, the journey by taxi taking about 15 mins and costing 15 euro, it is about the same to travel by taxi into central Dublin. I would describe this... More

This was our second stay at the hotel. We've been lucky enough both times to be upgraded to a very large room, which started the trip off well! Be prepared for the hotel to be busy at all times, there was always a queue at reception but with plenty of staff the wait was not too long. What's great about... More
