We visited the Schoolhouse Hotel in Dublin last weekend for an overnight stay. We arrived at 10am after an early flight and were able to leave out bag at the hotel so we didnt need to carry it with us whilst out and about. Thsi was the sam on the day we left as we checked out at 12 but... More

We had a great time at the Schoolhouse, and it has so many great points. We paid ~ £120 a night through Late Rooms for 3 nights, which for our superior room was a pretty good deal, including breakfast for 2. Our bed was HUGE, the bathroom really nicely kitted out with a very nice (Timourous Beasties-like) stylish wallpaper, and... More

I regularly stay at The Schoolhouse for business trips and always enjoy my stay. The food is good, either in the restaurant or the bar, and the bar is a great place to meet up with colleagues/friends. The rooms are a little quirky but large with very comfortable beds. The staff are friendly and always helpful. Great nights sleep, good... More

I have nothing but praise for this hotel, we had a lovely character room, not a brilliant view but a well laid out basement patio area with steps to the garden. Room was clean and well thought out. The Hotel was attractive, clean and looked after. All the food was wonderful and we stuffed ourselves silly! Reception staff were friendly... More

Just a short hop from the centre of Dublin the Schoolhouse offers something a little different from the standard chain hotel room. Originally an actual schoolhouse it is now a very pleasant hotel with spacious rooms and no road noise so a good nights sleep is guaranteed. Breakfast was in what i guess was the original school assembly hall. Didn't... More

This place felt a bit run down to me - had that slight musty smell to it. it was quaint, and the location was good for me (close to Google offices) This place felt a bit run down to me - had that slight musty smell to it. it was quaint, and the location was good for me (close to... More

We had a wonderful meal at the Schoolhouse after the Navy-Notre Dame Game. It was quite late in the evening, bar was full so we had our meal outside, it was a beautiful evening and what a nice area to have a meal! Food and service was excellent. We had an emergency in the US that day so we were... More

My husband and I stayed at the Schoolhouse hotel at the end of our 12 day Ireland vacation and we found it to be absolutely wonderful. We thought it was interesting that each room had a framed drawing on the wall of an Irish person with a short summary of why that person is famous. Our room featured Christy Brown... More

I stayed at the Schoolhouse Hotel for two nights on a business trip to Dublin. It was just around the corner from my meeting venue and about a 10 minute walk from the city centre, so very conveniently located. An airport bus stops right in front of the hotel as well. My room was quite big and nicely decorated, even... More

My husband and I spent three nights at the Schoolhouse hotel in June 2011 . Not only was the room spacious and well appointed, but the bed was very comfortable. I loved the charm and detail given to all of the rooms in the hotel. We had excellent service from all of the staff, they even allowed us to park... More
