We stayed at The Schoolhouse Hotel last weekend whilst in Dublin for the Coffee & Tea Festival which was at the RDS. The location was great for walking to the 3fe Coffee, the RDS and also to the city centre. The location was why we initially chose to stay here but we would definitely choose this hotel again. The room... More

Firstly I have not stayed in this Hotel, but wish to only review the food and service at lunchtimes during a week. I had visited this establishment with my Son on a weekday lunchtime to catch up on any news that could be imparted to Papa. Well we certainly had plenty of time with out the food service getting in... More

My husband and I arrived a couple hours early and they and they still let us in our room, off to a great start. The room was quaint and charming. The only comment I have to make about the room is that there wasn't enough counter space in the bathroom, other than that the room was great! The staff was very... I recently spent 2 nights in the Schoolhouse, and enjoyed my stay. I arrived by car and was a little by the size of the car park, but I arrived early enough in the day that I had my pick of places. Considering how close it is to the city centre, it's a huge bonus to have free on-site parking,... More

Okay, let's start by saying the people of Ireland could not be friendlier. The staff at Schoolhouse were so nice, I could not get too upset with the story I am to tell. Arrived for Penn State Game and I know they raised the price at this hotel for this game, since value for money was not there. Paid about... More

We booked in Dec 2013 with dates of 15 - 21 July 2014. Our reservation was for a Executive canopy suite. We had requested a early check in, as we arrived in Dublin via Westjet flight #17. Hopped onto the Aircoach for the Greystones and headed off to the venue. They dropped us off right in front of the bar.... More

The schoolhouse hotel is a great value for the money. Charming ambience, extremely friendly, courteous, and helpful personnel. The rooms were fine as was the bath. Remember, it is a non-chain, repurposed, European hotel in a city. So there are differences from room to room. That being said, I would go back again. Service was great, breakfast was great, and... We spent 3 nights at the Schoolhouse Hotel. The hotel staff were excellent. The room was well appointed and quiet. The hotel decor is "arts & crafts"/"gothic revival" and is a 15 minute walk from the major tourist sites such as the National Gallery and Trinity College. What makes the hotel special is that it is not a "chain" hotel.... More

We had a big group in for lunch. We had to go and find menus, then we had to go and find someone to take our order. The food to be fair was quick and very good. We finished our meal and again had to go and request Tea and coffee. It left a bad impression on all of us.
