Found this Guest house last year when the hotel I usually stay in for overnight work trips was booked up - and i've stayed here on all my trips since! House, owner and staff are very warm and welcoming. Beds are amazing - so so comfortable. Rooms are all clean and spacious and there are plenty options for breakfast, freshly... More

Room was comfortable and warm on a stormy night which together with the cooked breakfast and attentive service made for a very agreeable stay. Perfect for business and an early morning meeting in Dublin city centre. Straightforward and did all the basics superbly well.

Everything was great! We enjoyed our stay a lot. The rooms were clean and services very friendly. The location is in peaceful area but not far from the city center and really close to some great pubs and Restaurants.

Lovely little place. Friendly and very helpful staff. I booked a single room but was pleasantly surprised to be give a full sized double bedroom. Close to tourist attractions and situated on a major road yet surprisingly quiet if you want a lie in.

Looks fabulous from the outside and then when we walked in I thought it looked a little dated. However, we had a very comfortable room, very quiet with a nice mattress and soft cotton sheets and the room was lovely and cool. The bathroom is not in the latest fashion but everything was spotlessly clean. I had two great sleeps... More

My third stay in 8 months as always staff very helpful and friendly. Rooms comfy and bed perfect. Great breakfast just say yes to full Irish. Relaxing in lounge with a free newspaper after the breakfast is a great way to start the day. Only around 300 meters to shops bar/pub so perfect also for the evening.

I've visited this place few times in the past. The rooms are on the small side but unlike some hotels / guesthouses over the last few years the owners have kept it tidy and refreshed. It's an old house so don't expect a noiseless environment. On this occasion what made the difference was the staff. Helpfull ant attentive without hanging... More

My wife & I stayed last October for one night. Room not heated when we arrived late afternoon, extra bed cover needed replacement. Breakfast was a very poor average, expected fresh orange to be fresh and fry to be cooked after ordering. Rest of breakfast was OK . Staff were helpful and location good. Price was very expensive.

I regularly stay at Waterloo House. The welcome is as always warm and friendly, my room quiet, cozy and comfortable and the breakfast room as always filled with the scent of tasty breakfast and morning sunbeams. The kind little extras are all ready in my room on arrival, the beds freshly made each morning, bathroom towels neatly folded, just everything... More
