The title says a lot! The rooms are pleasant and the bathroom was well equipped and new (in our room) Air conditioning worked well though I understand you need to clarify if you have it when you reserve. There is no elevator so if you travel "heavy:" this may not be for you. My wife and I loved the location,... More

I only stayed one night. The room was huge by modern hotel standards the bed comfy , the walk to the top of the stairs not so great, but you are in the centre of Dublin on the nice side of the city. The breakfast was freshly cooked to order (a pleasant surprise) and very tasty . Would I stay... More

Good value and great location on quiet street a block from Trinity and Nassau St. A solid 3-star hotel with excellent, full-service breakfast included. Family-friendly. Felt very secure, even without 24-hour staff..Steps to room were a slight challenge when carrying luggage up and down. Staff offered to help. Would stay again.

Great location, rooms are nice, and breakfast is pretty good. The staff was very friendly and helpfull as well. The main downside is that there's no elevator, so take that in mind when making reservation.

Enjoyed the three day stay at the Trinity Lodge. It is a perfectly situated hotel close to many of the main features of Dublin, Trinity College and the magnificent Book of Kells, The National Library with its fantastic Yeats exhibition and very good cafe, the National Archaeology Museum a splendid building housing interesting Viking artefacts among others, Grafton Street shopping... Stayed in the quad room - very happy with our experience. Extremely quiet, beds comfortable - not too soft and not too hard, clean and bright room, great staff, and great breakfast. (They make certain items to order so there is a buffet spread plus you order your eggs, sausage, etc.) Room was very well sized for the 4 of... More

Spent the weekend there and loved it. It really works if you are on a budget. The Irish breakfast, included in the price, was fabulous. There was no elevator so getting my luggage to a top floor room could be a chore but the staff jumped in and really helped. THe location is great in between St. Stephens Green, Trinity... More

There was no air conditioning or fan in the room on a day that was 27 degrees celsius. Not even complimentary drinks were offered, no bottled water, nothing! After a very warm night and difficulty sleeping, I just managed to catch some sleep from about 7am but was awoken at 10am by a call advising me that breakfast would be... More

Dear guest, Thank you for your review. I would like to answer as follows. We only have 4 rooms without air-con and 22 with air-con. The rooms are allocated depending on rates and requests. Due to Ireland weather air-con (as in cooling) is rarely needed. However we would have provided you with a fan and water if requested or also... More

I thought the hotel itself was quaint and charming. However, I wrote up at 1:20 am to the sound of crashing bottles. There's some kind of recycling depot directly behind the hotel. And for some strange reason the city council lets them do their kind of work in the early hours. Beware.

Dear guest, Thank you for you review and kind words about the hotel. There is no depot around us but Dublin city council allows to the recycling companies to collect the rubbish late at night in order to prevent traffic congestion. However the noise probably is limited at 5-10 min on the night and for only 6 rooms that would... More

This is a bit different as the rooms are in several buildings. However, they had every amenity including air conditioning, blow dryers, large bathrooms and everything seemed to be updated and modern. We were only there 1 night but would not hesitate to return. It's in very close walking distance to everything and the Italian Restaurant next door was outstanding!
