I have stayed there one night with my daughter. Very clean room, very kind staff, beautiful breakfast and strategic position to the centre and bus station ( airport shuttle and other lines). Excellent cost/quality ratio! Since the rooms seem to be rather small, it is highly raccomended for short stays.

Returned to Dublin and stayed at Celtic Lodge for the second time in 6 weeks and once again had a great time. Stop moaning people. This is a little gem of a place. Staff are great ,food is great , clean and perfectly situated. Thanks Paul and staff again for being so welcoming. Esther you are a star! !!

We spent three days, the room is ok, not too big but enough for us, the breakfast it is nice and the people of the hotel are kind and professional, very well located. Just beside to the hotel there is a good restaurant and a busy pub with live concerts,

Only the loction and staff make this place. We had room 106 and was right above the street with smokers standing and talking under our window that could not be fully shut as one locking handles was broken right off. Then the live music started up and does so every night. Had to use ear plugs to try and drown... More

Travelled to Dublin, the capital city of my country. Booked this guesthouse via 'Booking.com'. Three nights 488 euros, breakfast not included. asked to book in early on the first morning, we had revelled all night by boat. I wrote this on the 'request' part of the booking form. We could not book in until 2.30 pm, so we walked the... More

We spent a week in Dublin. The location of Celtic Lodge is perfect, everything is within walking distance. The staff at reception was very helpful. Our room was quite small and basic but at the back, so it was quiet (we had asked for a quiet room when we booked!) but we had no view. The beds were comfortable. The... More

Stayed here one night at the beginning of our trip. Shuttle to/from airport was a bit difficult to locate but made transfers convenient. Room was at front (and could not be changed)--noisy, and pub music lasted well into the evening. Also hot--had to close window to block noise, then got overheated, had to open and deal with pub noise/street sounds.... More

The only positive point of this guesthouse is the location. But the room was very small, the towels were dirty and had to be changed....the light in the bathroom was broken, razor plug didn't work. The street is noisy as it is in the city center. Our room was on the fourth floor, without lift and a narrow staircase. I... More

While the location was good, the quality of the room was quite poor. The room faced an interior patio, and had only a tiny window at ceiling level. There was no air circulation, the room was perpetually hot and stuffy, even though it was relatively chilly outside. (We did get a fan after asking at the desk for them to... More

I'm surprised at the number of positive reviews of this hotel. I found it disappointing. True, it's in an excellent location but the street is lined with hotels and I would not choose this one again. It has four floors and no lift. The road is very busy and there is no double glazing. The shower was good but the... More
