Really cannot think of anything bad/negative about this place. The location is spot on, as per other reviews we requested a room overlooking the River Liffey and have to say the view was fantastic. Bearing in mind the hotel is slap bang in the middle of Temple Bar we couldn't hear any noise, whether that was down to being at... More

Once again Eliza Lodge provided a great welcome, comfortable rooms, and, good breakfasts. It's not the roomiest of buildings but the bedrooms are fine for what is inevitable in a city with so much going on - a place to crash and get some sleep before the exertions of the next day. Certainly recommend the views from the rooms especially the triple... More

After visiting Dublin many times I found this perfect location. The rooms are clean and tidy with all usual amenities and the breakfast in the Bistro downstairs was fab. The views over the Liffey are perfect with a minutes walk to Temple Bar. For a great weekend away to a fab City this is definitely a great place to stay.

If you want to be in the centre of Dublin city.. book this hotel! It's right on temple bar, where all the action is, and is only a 5 minute walk away from O'Connell street etc where all the shops are. Can't go wrong. The hotel is basic, nothing special but you can't go wrong for 50euro a night, especially... More

To advertise on the website that this is a luxury hotel is wrong. Although an Irish acquaintance has noted the luxury may have an inflated meaning in Dublin! I would rate it as more like a 3 star based on other european accommodation. The POSITIVES are that it is very clean, the staff are welcoming and the breakfast service was... More

I booked this Bed and Breakfast at the beginning of this year to go to Dublin in to see the Garth Brooks concert. At the time most Dublin City Centre hotels were fully booked and this was all that I could find that was convenient to the Temple Bar Area. The rate that they charged was 910 Euros for three... More

we stayed on the 4th floor with spectacular views. The rooms were clean and v comfortable and not fussy. The person who welcomed us could not have been more friendly she was lovely and we left our bag and set off. The breakfast was delicious and great value. Best thing was the location. We stayed on a Thursday and although... More

While I would say that their description of "luxury" accommodations on their website is a little far-fetched, the Eliza Lodge was a convenient location for our stay in Dublin. The location is right on the Liffey with gorgeous views and it is around the corner from Temple Bar. It is also within walking distance of many highlights of Dublin. Our... More

Eliza Lodge looks considerably fancier on their website than in real life. The rooms on the website seem to all be the top floor, and larger. The hotel is accessed through the restaurant on the ground floor, and has more of a hostel than hotel feeling, from the tiny reception area to the narrow staircases. However, it's a very good... We arrived very early on our flight from Chicago, so early that only the night man was afoot. He unlocked the door and welcomed us into the restaurant an hour before it was scheduled to open and made us some coffee. So nice and welcoming! Our room, 301, overlooked the Liffey River at Wellington Quay and we really enjoyed the... More
