The view from the room of the Eliza Lodge was a postcard view with the residents crossing the Millennium footbridge over the Liffey River. The hotel was located at the west end of Temple Bar, a happening place in the evening, and within walking distance of many of the sights of Dublin. The small hotel, with no lobby, was accessed... more

The room we stayed in was very clean and tiny, but the view of the river helped make it feel comfortable. This is in a fantastic location, just around the corner from the busy pub scene of Temple Bar (but the room was quiet). We loved Temple Bar--great music and an international clientele. We also easily walked to key sights... more

Steps from the Temple Bar, this guesthouse is in a superb location. We had a great view of the Liffey River and it was very family friendly. Good breakfast and service. Not for those looking for a quiet stay, but perfect for families looking to be in the Temple Bar area. Parking is in local parking garages so that was... more

I am surprised at the praise for this very ordinary "lodge". It is more of a budget guest house. It has non-working wireless service ( at least in the rooms), absent office staff, no common area or lounge, small rooms and a very ancient tv with a remote that has the numbers worn off. The telephone books were 3 years... more

My husband and I stayed at Eliza Lodge while I was attending a conference at Dublin Castle. We were very disappointed when we checked in. The room was tiny (especially for two people), and unremarkable. The view of the River Liffey was nice, but couldn't make up for the room's inadequacies, given that it is touted as "luxury accommodation". The... more

Stayed 2 nights from 29th May 2009, with spouse for a birthday weekend in Dublin City Centre. Rooms were basic but clean and had everything you needed for a weekend break. Excellent location, our room overlooked the river, was slightly noisy at night but wouldn't expect anything else given the location being so central to the Temple Bar area. Staff... more

Booked in for 1 night after reading reviews on this site. I have got to say that the location is excellent. Walking distance to anywhere in central Dublin. Temple Bar is one street away , the Liffey in front of you. The rooms were adequate and clean though definitely not sound proof, the receptionist most helpful. As for the Italian... more

The room was very nice, corner with a view on the river. Big enough but no hair dryer, iron, etc. The wireless internet didn't work at all. The staff were very nice and helpful. However, the noise from the five floor club across the street was extreme from about midnight to 3am so I had to use earplugs. This made... more

We picked this hotel based on the location and Trip Advisor reviews, and were not disappointed - the location was fantastic! Right in Temple Bar, close to Trinity College and Grafton Street, and relatively easy to find. You do need a key to get in the hotel but the Italian Restaurant next door is the way in until you get... more
