We stayed at the Eliza Lodge for a night during our trip to Ireland on our honeymoon. We missed our flight into Dublin and ended up missing one of the nights we booked. The staff was incredibly accommodating and helpful. The room was very comfortable and we had a lovely view of the Liffey. The shower was very powerful! Going... more

We arrived in the rain but the sun came out when we met the staff, they were all so friendly and helpful, thanks guys! Location is great for getting around on foot, and adjacent to Temple Bar for eating & drinking, you do pay the price for that with the noise though - take earplugs! Rooms could do with a... more

We chose this hotel because of the price ($100/night) and central location. It is on the river on a busy street in Temple Bar - a hot spot for pubbing and nightlife. The room had a river view, windows that opened, king bed, roomy bathroom, work desk and TV. Breakfast was included (we paid for it up front in the... more

All of the Trip Adviser reviews of Eliza Lodge are accurate; this is an inexpensive (Dublin standard) hotel, in a great location, that has small rooms, and is noisy at night. Mona, who runs the check in, was wonderful and very helpful. The breakfasts in the adjacent restaurant were good. The rooms are in fact fairly small and a little... more

We stayed only one night so our exposure was brief. The hotel is pretty small, and the rooms are as well (well ours was). but it was nicely decorated and clean which is a defanate plus. The Wi-Fi internet didn't work in our room, we had to go down to the restaruant to use it. The view of the river... more

I had read reviews of Eliza Lodge that complained of noise because of its proximity to the Temple Bar area, but I booked a night anyway because the price was low and the location great. Noise was no problem at all in my room, and Mona at the front desk said the hotel had replaced windows (putting in double-glazed ones)... more

After almost 8 years of traveling through Ireland, I can honestly say, Dublin has a diamond in the heart of the city. This little guest lodge is located on the edge of Temple Bar on the Wellington Quay overlooking the River Liffey. The room rates, cleanliness, hospitality of the staff, and the fine food and value offered at the Italian... more

I travelled to Dublin with my young family. We stayed at the Eliza Lodge for 1 night. Upon our (early) arrival we were able to leave our luggage until our room was ready at about 1pm. The reception staff are lovely and very helpful. We booked 2 rooms, one of which had a cot. The rooms are well presented, clean... more
