An absolutely perfect location if you want to be in downtown Dublin. You can walk to all tourist attractions & are right next to all of the Temple Bar area pubs. The breakfasts are good, rooms are clean & the hosts were very friendly & helpful. We had a nice view of the river Liffey as well & it really... More

I honestly think that the people running this hotel just bit off more than they could chew. The people in the restaurant are also running the hotel services, so you need to basically ask to be checked in by the servers in the restaurant. Our room was alright, a bit small and relatively clean (some hair on the bed, nothing... More

View on the river, right in the middle of the famous Temple Bar quarter. Nice and confortable rooms, very good breakfast. Good value for monney. Close to all the shop, restaurants, transports and entertainments in Dublin.

After such glowing reviews here on Tripadvisor, and seeing the seemingly attractive Eliza Lodge website photos, we expected a reasonably pleasant stay at Eliza Lodge. The reality of our stay was anything but pleasant. Upon arrival, we entered a small door next to The Italian Corner restaurant. Walked up some narrow stairs to a tiny reception desk. A sign on... I stayed at Eliza Lodge recently. This is a guesthouse and not a hotel. The priority of this establishment is clearly that of the Italian Restaurant in it's lower level, and not of the comfort of the guests that are staying there. It felt like the "rooms" were an inconvienence to those working at the desk. There was rarely anyone... More

Highly recommend this place when in Dublin! Central location in Temple Bar, clean rooms, view of the Liffey River, superb service, plus inclusive of Irish breakfast. We paid USD173.00 for 2 nights. Enough said!

Eliza lodge is very centrally locatied in the Temple Bar neighbourhood, in spite of its location, my room was very quiet, they serve a good breaktfast. Only drawbook: the room was really cold, the receptionist did turn the heating on once I asked, but I had to do that every time. This early April was pretty cold. May be it's... More

We stayed at Eliza Lodge for two nights during our recent trip to Ireland, renting three rooms to accommodate our family: two parents, two adult children, one with spouse. We were able to get exactly the rooms we needed-- a single and two doubles, all on the same floor. The rooms seems to have been recently renovated, with wood floors,... More

Took 2 rooms for a recent family of 4 stay. After researching options for our tour of England, Scotland and Ireland, I was pleased with this one for our Dublin stay. Rooms were serviceable and comfy but the hotel is made by its location. Just on the edge of Temple Bar, you get all the benefit with a good cut... More

I stayed as a single occupant in a double on the third floor with wonderful views of Wellington Quay. As my partner was unable to join me, I thought it was very kind of the manager to include my breakfast as part of the first night's stay. It was a top location in the middle of the italian quarter with... More
