Went with my partner for a weekend break. Found this hotel on offer and it was a perfect spot in the heart of Dublin beside Temple Bar but less expensive prices (alcohol). Good travel connections for trips around the city. Nothing special but it is budget accom so nice enough.

Possibly the worst establishment we have had the misfortune to stay at. Where do I start? The telephone in the room didn't work. Astonishingly neither did the central heating! Instead there was a plug-in oil filled heater in the bedroom and no form of heating in the bathroom. When we trecked down 4 floors to reception (no lift) to complain... More

There have been some very unfavourable reviews of this Hotel. However people have to bear in mind that this Hotel advertises itself as budget accomodation. For the price you pay and the location, two minutes walk from O'Connell Street, you can't beat it. I have stayed here many times over the years. Ok the rooms are not five star luxury... More

Very tired. Bathroom door did not close! beds excruciatingly uncomfortable, bed clean though, breakfast poor (no egg options except fried), More like a poor hostel than hotel. Toilet roll was sheets of paper not a roll of toilet paper - very strange

We stayed here with friends for one night in October as we were heading out in Dublin. Yes this hotel is 2* but it has the best location and one of the best bars - Lanigans! The rooms are small, basic and I've slept on better beds but for £45 per person to be right in the centre of Dublin... More

The staff in this place terrific. We were on a tour and although they normally didn't serve hot breakfast until 7, they got up and made one for us at 6:30. They were friendly and helpful all around. The hotel is in a great spot. Not a long walk at all from a lot of shops and even to Trinity... More

I stayed 2 nights, the rooms were what you would expect for budget. Clean sheets and towels and rooms serviced every day.Bed was comfortable and breakfast was good and very reasonably priced. Your a step away from the center. Trying to get some sleep was the problem, being old it has lots of fire doors and creaking wooden floors but... More

Stayed here for a night while attending a show in Dublin, Its was grand for what I needed it for, wouldn't bring the missus to it for a romantic weekend but it was clean and cheap, Didn't like that the reception wanted to charge €20 for a remote control but besides that fine

Location is really the only thing this hotel has going for it. Right on the main street near the river and within view of the Ha Penny Bridge. Only a very short walk to many local attractions, restaurants and to the Temple Bar area. If you have a room overlooking the river, you will have a nice view but then... More
