I have never came across staff as Ignorant, far too much money to pay for a dirty room thats too crampy and a shower that doesnt even work. on a cold wintera night the least a person could expect is heat on. The worst place i have ever stayed in.

Ok so I understand that this place is marketed as budget but I mean come on, it should still be clean, be heated and have working fixtures! Our room was horrible. Pokey, looked onto a dumpster. Towels were dirty, as was shower, mouldy grouting. Didn't bother to shower because you would Come out of it feeling filthy I recon. Kettle,... More

Let us always start with the positive: - great location - great price - accessible to transportation - accessible to downtown - decent size rooms - OK beds in terms of comfort Reading general reviews for this location, I knew it was above a bar in a busy part of Dublin and have to admit that yes there might have... I am quite new to this reviewing lark but it amazes me that you can have reviews next to each other with one saying "fantastic" and one saying "worst ever". We stopped here on a budget and found it to be as expected (meaning absolutely fine!). Location is brilliant, next to the river and a short stroll from the City... More

Went with my partner for a weekend break. Found this hotel on offer and it was a perfect spot in the heart of Dublin beside Temple Bar but less expensive prices (alcohol). Good travel connections for trips around the city. Nothing special but it is budget accom so nice enough.

Possibly the worst establishment we have had the misfortune to stay at. Where do I start? The telephone in the room didn't work. Astonishingly neither did the central heating! Instead there was a plug-in oil filled heater in the bedroom and no form of heating in the bathroom. When we trecked down 4 floors to reception (no lift) to complain... More

There have been some very unfavourable reviews of this Hotel. However people have to bear in mind that this Hotel advertises itself as budget accomodation. For the price you pay and the location, two minutes walk from O'Connell Street, you can't beat it. I have stayed here many times over the years. Ok the rooms are not five star luxury... More

Very tired. Bathroom door did not close! beds excruciatingly uncomfortable, bed clean though, breakfast poor (no egg options except fried), More like a poor hostel than hotel. Toilet roll was sheets of paper not a roll of toilet paper - very strange
