As title says this hotel in smack bang in the middle of Dublin city centre overlooking the river liffey only downside is there are loads of stairs to take your luggage up and of course us ladies like our clothes so maybe pack a bit lighter unless you have a strong man to help you as there are 3/4 floors... More

Booked a room in this hotel as price was excellent. Very well located, but don't expect too much. Rooms very small and bathroom cold. Place begging for renovation. We were afraid to leave anything in the room as lockers in doors didn't work properly. Was afraid to take a shower there. BUT! Pub downstairs is a little gem. Excellent music... More

We first visited Clifton Court 19 years ago and again 7 years ago. Was a great hotel with a great Irish welcome where the ajoining pub immersed us in the Irish culture. But not any more. This hotel is in a good location next to the river and directly in the middle of town. It's cheap cheerful and the bar downstairs is really good. We would stay again. The hotel reception staff were friendly and helpful.

I stayed in hotel last week, checked in late was no problem, prices of the hotel was cheap enough, they have a lovely bar downstairs, staff was vey nice and pleasant, I be in Dublin very soon again so wouldn't mind staying Clifton hotel again, and it's walking distance everywhere.

My single room was clean and comfortable. Okay, the view was pretty awful but that didn't bother me. Some noise from the bars but nothing to complain about. This is a place from hell.I would beg people not to go near it.It is worse than third world and the people who run it....i think they are from India.....are the rudest and unpleasant people ive ever met.I wont go into what we experienced but i will use the following words,,,,filthy,damp,musty,noisy,people trying to enter room,broken tiles,tiny,couldnt turn,horrible and unwelcoming staff,damp... super central hotel, at the corner of O'Connell street. nice room, clean. close to the bus station that links the city to the airport. friendly staff, good breakfast, continental or Irish breakfast. close to Trinity college, a variety of restaurants around it.

Really grotty, the building and furnishings are just so dirty and past there sell by date . The bathroom smelled like cat urine ... And the shower was filthy .. never mind the price of the dump €158 per night ... Ripping people off for disgusting service's
