If you want luxury, this is not the place for you. However, if you're ok with an affordable, somewhat shabby place with some flaws but great breakfast, friendly staff and an excellent location, you should try out Clifton Court Hotel. Overall, a positive experience. more

Yes, this is a budget hotel in the center of Dublin and you pretty much get what you pay for. That being said, it does have its good points. My fiancé and I booked 2 non-consecutive nights in this hotel because we were looking for cheap accommodation in the heart of tourist Dublin and we liked the fact that Clifton... more

havin been before to this hotel.we stayed on the 3rd floor and the lift was out of order,so we climbed up about 6 flights of stairs-nightmare with luggage, the room was o.k,but the decor is a sham,we had a thin door to our room, not painted!and skirting boards that were nailed on,there was a missing remote for t.v,and the bathroom light was... more

The room was so pathetic. there was 1 plug in for jug/lamp/TV. room was so cold, no blankets. needs demolishing in my estimation. you must know there is a Seaman hostel right next door. I was accosted just walking into the... more

After reading some terrible reviews about this hotel it was with much trepidation my boyfriend and myself checked in.... However, we were pleasantly surprised. Yes, the place is a little shabby and the rooms are small and basic but our bathroom and bed linen were clean, the staff were lovely, really nice breakfast and the location is great. You get... more

We can fully understand the comments that other travellers have made regarding the hotel. The lift is still out of order and our corridor had an awful smell of cooking fat, but the room it's self was basic and the bathroom was even smaller. The whole building is badly in need of refurbishment, but on the other hand the staff... more

There are different menus for the English breakfast and it is quite copious. The room and bathroom are clean but the bathroom is small and I had to put my hairbrush and other toilet equipment in the basin and my clothes on the toilet lid when I had a bath. It should be noted that the hotel is on a... more
