I stayed at Kilronan House recently, and can say that it's got a charming exterior and common room, however the bedrooms are quite dated, and the one I was in was pretty tired. If you need somewhere close to St. Stephen's Green (city centre), that has parking and a lovely breakfast, and don't anticipate the more luxurious standards of some... More

The staff at Kilronan House was second to none during our trip to Ireland. We stayed two different times during our two week trip. Both times the staff was welcoming, accommodating and more than helpful with whatever we needed. The first day we arrived our rooms were not ready but one of my travel companoins was not feeling well and... More

My husband and I traveled to Ireland for our honeymoon and our first stop in Ireland was the Kilronan House in Dublin. After a stressful drive in a new city we found our way to the hotel. Reception was amazing. They helped us with our bags, parked our car, and made us Irish Coffees while they finished checking in another... More

Very conveniently located just south of St Stephen's Green. We were in a room next to the main hotel. Room was large, bed was comfortable, bathroom on the small side. Breakfast was excellent and we were treated very well by our hosts. Would stay here again when we return to Dublin.

We stayed at Kilronan House the night before a family wedding. Having booked via telephone two months previously a quick email to check all was in order for our arrival resulted in an almost instant reply from Sean. We arrived earlier than expected but it wasn't a problem , tea and coffee were offered whilst the rooms were prepared. The... More

We were very pleased with the Kilronan House. Our room was spacious and clean and the area was quiet. The service was amazing upon arrival with a warm welcome, parking our car and helpful tips on where to dine. The breakfast was beyond what we expected and the attention to service made us feel like royalty. We left our car... More

We were just there overnight - in town to see James Taylor in concert - but Sean and his group made quite an impression on us. The Irish coffee on check-in certainly didn't hurt but the hospitality overall was fabulous. Large, comfy room and wonderful breakfast the next morning. Great location close to St. Stephens Green. We will definitely stay... More

Booked online to stay the night of the Ireland V Gibraltar game, as it was near the Aviva! When me and my 12 year old son arrived we were sent to the '2nd' hotel NEXT DOOR! Our room was on the 3rd floor, 61 stairs up, not great for older people....And it was a double bed, not a twin that... More

We stayed 2 nights at Kilronan House. We didn't end up spending any time in the city so this really was just a place to rest our heads and get breakfast. The guys working there were amazing! The unexpected Irish coffee was a super nice way to end the night. Breakfast was really nice too. They were super helpful with... More

We stayed at Kilronan House for two nights in mid-October. There were so many pleasant surprises, like being offered an Irish Coffee after we returned from supper; tea and scones after an afternoon of sightseeing, and receiving breakfast the morning we arrived (very very early on a flight from Boston). Sean was also able to give us a room although... More
