Sean and Romie were great at check in and during our breakfasts. The lodging was very nice, the breakfast room seemed to be a bit cramped. It felt more like a boarding house than a B & B to me. The three people we met there were from different countries, very customer service oriented but it was missing something.

We loved this place. Loved that it was on a quiet street, that we could comfortably walk to the places we wanted to go, that the staff was SO helpful and professional - even giving us a late night tea with cookies while we were playing cards in the lobby. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The breakfast great. A... More

We stayed one night and the staff were extremely helpful and courteous. The room was average size for a B&B and it had all the amenities we needed. It is close to some pubs and restaurants but a pretty good hike down to Temple Bar and back. Breakfast was good and plentiful like most Irish B&Bs. Parking is handled by... More

The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was great. Convenient location for walking to many attractions (just south of St. Stephens green). However, this is not an inexpensive place, and we felt we overpaid given the condition. The building is not in great shape and the housekeeping/cleanliness of room was poor. The room felt very... Dear Kristin, Thank you taking the time to review your recent stay with us at Kilronan House. I was disappointed to read some of the comments in your review about our wonderful housekeeping team, and I would like to investigate these issues further, so that I can attempt to restore your faith in Kilronan House. A well managed, friendly and clean bed & breakfast on a quiet street in Dublin. The rooms vary depending on your needs-mine had a sink and shower in the room and a nice size closet with a toilet just a few steps outside of my door. Many of the rooms had a private toilet along with the shower in their... More

Three nights at Kilronan House launched our 17-day Ireland visit, and of the 7 hotels/B&Bs we stayed in around the country, this was hands down the one we'd rank lowest. The facility has quaint potential, but it needs some serious care to clean up peeling paint in hallways and rooms, dinginess, and a general lack of amenities (the basics: tissues,... More

Myself and my gf stayed here for three nights and it was great. We were greeted by the manager and after a short checkin and some friendly chat we were shown our room. Our room was very well decorated and had a good few channels on the TV and also good WIFI. The free breakfast was great! A choice of... More

Even though most of our reviews tend to be personal and biased, I'll try to be balanced in perspectives here. We've chosen this guest house as best option we could find available for last 2 nights spent in Dublin, at the end our two-week tour of Ireland (in peak touristic season), considering few very simple conditions: not very expensive but... We had booked our accommodation at Kilronan House about 2 months before leaving Australia. When we arrived we did not stay in Kilronan House but in another property 2 doors down. The accommodation was second rate, sub standard. There was a hole in the wall, from a fist. The showers leaked, cracked tiles and even the door didn't lock properly.... More

My husband and I stayed two nights at Kilronan House at the end of our trip to Ireland and we were pleased. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is wonderful - walking distance to St. Stephen's Green - but away from the craziness and noise. The only thing I would mention is that there is no elevator so... More
