Myself and my girlfriend stayed here last October, and decided to book kilronan again for the rugby in February as we both liked it. Our room was not that great, about six flights of stairs to get there to begin with. A broken curtain hook let street light in, wifi not working, t.v not working and double bed was just... More

We stayed here for 4 nights and have really enjoyed it. I think the decor would be designated shabby chic, needing a lick of paint in places but clean, tidy and the bed was great! All the staff were very friendly and helpful, getting tea, coffee and biscuits on demand. There was a good choice for breakfast and, although busy,... More

After traveling all night from Boston, we arrived in Dublin at about 8:00 am. Took the bus from the airport, then got off somewhere around Lower Leeson (sp?) Road, and walked several blocks to the Kilronan House. Pouring rain, dragging suitcases over cobblestones and through puddles. In January. So these two weary, bedraggled travelers arrived, looking alot like drowned rats.... More

Stayed in Kilronan House on Friday 8th January 2016. Very pleasant gentleman on reception. He offered to park our car off street or would put a ticket on the car in the morning for us. Bedroom not very large but nicely furnished. Tea and coffee and also bottled water. Super King bed. Ensuite was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was good, staff... More

I felt like I was visiting my Irish Grandma. Plenty of character and personality in this tiny little place. The breakfast area is gorgeous, a real treat. Rooms where very small, shower was shoulder to shoulder and a bit weak. But location is great short walk through the park and your in Dublin central with all you need. Warm and... More

We stayed there for one night before going back home after holidays in Ireland. It was four of us, my parents my 20months old son and myself and we could feel more confortable. The treat we received from the two employees that we met was outstanding helping with the bags from the first moment. Served us tea and cookies and... More

My husband, two teenage boys and myself booked in on Sunday 20th December 2015 and were due to check out on Tuesday 22nd December 2015 but we actually decided to check out on Monday 21st December 2015. The room was not appealing, windows were dirty and the glass in one window was cracked, cobwebs on ornate coving, paintwork was tired... More

This place is really nice. Located slightly off the beaten track it is close to public transport and an easy stroll to two public gardens. The walk to the famed Grafton street is no more than 15 minutes (if you take it really slowly). The service was impeccable and Irish coffee is available in the main house every night. We... More
