Our bedroom and bathroom were generally clean but poorly furnished and unsatisfactory in terms of bathroom and tv facilities. Hot water supply was painstakingly slow , with most of the time the water being tepid at best. However, the electric shower worked very well and had good pressure. The bathroom mirror would appear to be fixed too low and bevelled... More

We visited this Guest House in 1994 when it first became a Guest House. It was just lovely and the host and hostess made us feel at home. In 2015 when we returned expecting the same warm, inviting feeling, we were terribly disappointed. The ownership has changed several years ago. We happened to have the same room that we had... More

This was my second time to stay in Glenogra Guest House and I have to say it represents very good value for money. The staff and proprietors in Glenogra are both friendly and efficient - with a nice warm welcome which always makes a difference. Some nice touches such as flat-screen tv, bath-robes provided and toileteries in the bathroom more... More

Located about 100 meters from several bus stations and about 400 meters from the Sandymount DART Station, free parking, free WiFi, friendly staff, clean spacious room with all the commodities, we stayed there for 2 nights during our visit to Dublin, but didn't order breakfast. Try the nearby Thai restaurant (Baan Thai). If you travel with luggage take into account... More

Reserved a room and arrived a couple hours later, just after midnight. There was nobody available to answer the door or intercom. They refuse to refund me, despite their error. I emailed and explained the situation. They said they "were at a loss" for an explanation. I feel like being a customer at a financial loss for their inability to... More

Glenogra is a lovely house in an excellent location. I chose it because of its proximity to the RDS; the walk to the event we were attending was about a block and a half through a quiet neighborhood that felt safe after dark. The house is also less than a block from the bus stop, and it turned out to... More

Though not one to categorize, there are hotel people and B & B people. If you are the latter, you would be hard-pressed to find a place better situated. Even more, a place to stay that affords you a comfortable bedroom with a marble-fronted fireplace in an elegantly appointed late-Victorian style house. For two nights, I was looking for accommocations... More

I was greeted and personally shown to my well-kept single en suite. Everything was as expected. The beds are comfortable and everything very neat and clean. Pubs and restaurants are only a few hundred meters away and there are great transportation options all around. I would definitely stay here again.

Staff were friendly, rooms comfortable and it's a nice location for events in the Aviva. We passed a couple of good bars on the way to & from the venue. This is our 3rd time staying here - this time just as a couple, previously with another couple and also with our 3 children.
