Though not one to categorize, there are hotel people and B & B people. If you are the latter, you would be hard-pressed to find a place better situated. Even more, a place to stay that affords you a comfortable bedroom with a marble-fronted fireplace in an elegantly appointed late-Victorian style house. For two nights, I was looking for accommocations... More

I was greeted and personally shown to my well-kept single en suite. Everything was as expected. The beds are comfortable and everything very neat and clean. Pubs and restaurants are only a few hundred meters away and there are great transportation options all around. I would definitely stay here again.

Staff were friendly, rooms comfortable and it's a nice location for events in the Aviva. We passed a couple of good bars on the way to & from the venue. This is our 3rd time staying here - this time just as a couple, previously with another couple and also with our 3 children.

This fantastic house is still full of original features - ceilings, fireplaces, over-door mantels. It is very close to a bus route into the centre of Dublin for Trinity College (Book of Kells), Merrion Square, museums etc. (Є2 adult fare.)but for the fir, it's probably a half hour walk (all flat). We were in Room 11 and it was so... More

As others have said, the Glenogra is dated which isn't a problem, although the intermittent hot water is. The shower head in my room didn't fit the holder and so flopped at the end of the hose or had to be handheld - not the easiest way of having a shower. Wifi reception was okay and better than the TV... More

Stayed at Glenogra for one night in February, to attend the Ireland v France 6 nations game in the nearby Aviva. Highly satisfactory from start to finish. Booked this online in December, confirmed very promptly, reasonable rate. My booking was based on the positive Tripadvisor reviews and the location. Follow up queries regarding parking sent my email were replied to... More

Booked a room here for one night when my husband and I were in Dublin for the 6 Nations rugby. This was one of the few places remaining that wasn't extortionate, included breakfast, had a free car park and also close to the stadium and town. The staff were lovely and friendly. Rooms had everything you could need with a... More

Accomodation was adequate. Decor in room was really dated and tired. shower took 'an age' to warm up - and having waited for so long, I had decided to have a luke-warm shower, then it got hot enough - I'd say it took two minutes to get to 'hot'. I decided to hold fire until I saw and tasted the... More

Lovely old style B&B right across the road from the RDS. I was greeted by the owner and shown to my room on the ground floor. I was pleased to find a full sized bathroom, a rare sight in a Dublin B&B. The room had everything I needed and was clean and quiet. The breakfast had a nice choice of... More

I stayed here overnight on a business trip and was pleased to find the guest house in a great location to where I needed, easily accessible and quiet, even though it is on a main road. I was given a double room (spacious, clean, tasteful) and the service was brilliant, very attentive and helpful. Appreciated the fact I was able... More
