Having stayed here many times on business trips I felt it was time to post a review. The best thing about this hotel is its location; it is literally 3 minutes minutes walk to Grafton street and less than that to the luas which brings you out to Sandyford. The reception staff are extremely friendly and kindly upgraded me to... more

This is more of a Guesthouse than a hotel, and if modern conveniences (like spacious bedrooms, efficient plumbing and a lift...) are important to you then you probably won't like it . However, the Georgian building and the furnishings have plenty of character, and the location (between St Stephen's Green and Iveagh Gardens) is second to none. Staff are friendly... more

I've stayed at Staunton's three times now, and every time has been great! It's one of the few affordable hotels/B&Bs in the centre of Dublin, and it's more than worth the price. The staff are wonderful, friendly, and really go out of their way for you. This last time, we arrived at the ungodly hour of 5:15 am, and as... more

Having decided to go to Dublin for New Year's Eve, my boyfriend and I stayed in Stautons for 2 nights. As a lot of other people have commented, the location is excellent - quiet enough for a good night's sleep, but close enough to the park, Temple Bar, shops, DART etc. The woman behind the desk during the day was... more

This hotel is so convenient, right on St Stephen's Green but just far enough away from the various pubs and bars to be fairly quiet, even if your room faces the Green. Be aware that a single room does mean a single bed, and they can be small. The various rooms I have stayed in in the old house sometimes... more

The main strength of this B&B is its location, right opposite the lovely St Stephen’s Green and within a few minutes of Dublin’s main shopping area, LUAS tramline and the tourist attractions at Trinity College and Temple Bar. The building itself is of distinguished appearance and on entering you feel as if you had gone back in time. My room,... more

I can't say enough about the location of Stauntons.Handy for shopping,LUAS trams, business, culture, museums, arts, bars and restaurants.Pretty much everything you need except a tram link to the northside which offers all of the above but at cheaper prices. I've stayed twice and both times it has been worth the bill which is about €80/night.The 1st time was before the holiday season started so... more

Thankfully we only stayed one night at this hotel. The room cost a whopping £117 so we expected something rather nice - unfortunately not the case. The room was in a very bad state, the walls had holes in and the paper was peeling off, the windows and sills were dirty and had paint peeling off them. The plug sockets... more

Nice hotel for a decent price. Central, but quiet location. Front desk staff friendly and helpful. They kindly allowed us to store our luggage with them until checkin as we arrived at 6 a.m. (Tip: book a room for the night before with an early arrival - much easier.) Room was nice, but hot and windows cannot be opened. Food... more
