I booked my room through trip advisor and got a pretty decent rate - still, not particularly cheap. Still, I got the impression that I was put into the worst available room in the basement of this crummy hotel. The room STANK of damp. It was a really strong smell, that made it pretty much inhabitable. Additionally it was very... More

Room smelt of smoke, the bed linen was clean n towels, the stairs going down into the dining room are dangerousness and need repairing, breakfast was ok, overall needs a facelift but if you get it at a cheaper rate than we payed I guess it's ok

Recently stayed at the Maple Hotel for four nights. The location of the hotel is great, it's a very basic hotel but meets the basic needs. Rooms were clean, bathroom in our room had been recently redone. We faced the street and the windows are only single pane so street noise was constant although not that bothersome. What did bother... I rate my experience 3 of 5 mainly due to the uncomfortable bed and bar area was not comfortable and smelled like an ashtray. That being said, the staff cleans the rooms very well and the value for the location was above average. This property was a bit of a trade off. If you intend to use it as a... More

There was free coffee and tea making facilities, shower gel and soap. The bathroom was clean they changed the towels daily. All in all it... More

I travelled to Maple Hotel with my boyfriend as the price was affordable and on booking.com the pictures were really pretty about it. I was a bit concered, however, as I read reviews about the hotel on tripadvisor and most of them were absolutely positive but some said it is not that good. We arrived late at night and we... More

A lovely hotel, just five minutes walk from O'Connell Street, with excellent service, very friendly and helpful staff, and very reasonable prices. The hotel has a very lively and beautifully decorated Irish bar, with the best bar man in Dublin - Mossey Tynan - with a pint for four euro. You really will not do better than that in Dublin.... We have just stayed here for 3 days . The bedroom was clean and clean linen every day . We were at the back of the hotel which was lovely and quiet , however on our last night we were wakened by noise which got worse and worse . This was still going on when we left at 4.30 for... More

Service was excellent I really appreciate like this care and attention from management to guest. Every guest is special for them!
