We landed early in the day, room wasn't ready. Offered us to store luggage in room as our room won't be ready until 2pm. Hotel room very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was awesome. Way to go restaurant staff. Location was awesome, being 1 block off O'Connell street made it easy for all things touristy Strong recommendation

The location is 15-20 min walking distance to many locations (trinity library, temple bar, grafton street, and O'Connell Street). It was also very convenient that airport express bus #747 (double-decker green bus) stops infront of the hotel every 15 min. The fare is 6 euros per person, you can pay the bus driver in cash, and is about 30 min... More

If you are looking for a central hotel close to the action in Dublin, this is ideal. It is basically no frills. Buffet breakfast okay, rooms okay, bar okay, however you can walk everywhere in Dublin. Our room was in the back too close to an outdoor bar which was quite noisy.

While this hotel is right off the main street in downtown Dublin, I do not recommend it for anything longer than an overnight stay. The rooms are so tiny and cramped. Even the bathroom is tiny. The desk staff always seemed overwhelmed and undertrained. Our tour group arrived at about 11:00 am. We had been booked for months, and our... More

Stayed here for 2 nights in July 2015 and it was a good hotel to stay at. Convenient location, lovely public areas and modern, comfortable rooms. The one big thing that lets it down is the poor quality breakfast. All the items appear to be the 'cheapest' - very little flavour and one of the worst breakfasts I have had... More

We stayed at this hotel June 17-19 and chose the hotel due to it's location to the core and the areas we wanted to check out. As we booked via the website via a third party site, we were randomly chosen for a room upgrade, which gave us a nice sitting area. The hotel was clean and located right off... More

My daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights during our trip to Ireland in June. We were very impressed with the freindliness of the staff. The rooms were clean and up to date. The beds were very comfortable. Had the best sleep I've had by far in any hotel here. No noise issues. When we checked in we were... More

This hotel was clean with very friendly staff, a good bar and very centrally located. Its just off O'Connell Street which is right in the centre and only a ten minute walk from the famous Temple Bar area.

The airport bus drops off and picks up right outside this hotel (Cathal Brugha stop). The hotel is very well appointed. I had a very quiet room on the 7th floor at the end of a corridor. The breakfast was very good and surprisingly cheap at €9.90 per day. The staff were very helpful. I paid the price for being... More

Stayed at the Academy Plaza for two nights along with my mum. We had an accessible room on the fourth floor. The room was of an average size, twin beds were narrow but very comfortable. The room had everything we needed and no issues with noise. Had breakfast each morning and it was excellent and of a very high standard.... More
