We booked this hotel as it was conveniently located to the train station. We were coming to the end of our Irish trip and craved convenience. This hotel had some very good staff and also a perfect location for us. It is a very nice hotel and we really enjoyed it. The only issue we had with this hotel was... More

We spent a busy couple of weeks driving around Ireland, dealing with staircases, bathrooms the size of cupboards, no exhaust fans, no fridges, some tiny beds, bathroom light switches outside the room, shower switches outside the room, sometimes no reading lights, all the sorts of things we take for granted just not quite right. We laughed our way past all... More

The Ashling Hotel is a very nice place; it is a shame it is not closer into city centre. To get to city centre is very easy, just get the Luas tram at the museum or the 145 bus at Heuston Station (right across the street). You can also walk in about 25 minutes or get a taxi. Overall, the... More

Thank you for your lovely comments about your recent stay at the Ashling Hotel. I was pleased to hear that you found the rooms nice. I will be looking at what we can to do up the number of outlets, as everyone now has something that needs charged. I hope to welcome you and your family back to us again.... More

Stayed here for two nights this year and was very impressed. The lobby in the hotel was lovely and the staff were more than helpful. The bar was very comfy too and served a reasonably priced pint of Guinness which I though was the best one I had in Dublin. The room was a superior king and was very spacious.... More

Thank you for your comments about your recent stay at the Ashling Hotel. It was unfortunate to hear that you had neighbours that were not considerate to those who were next to them. The Ashling Hotel was the perfect hotel for us! Finding a spacious room for Two parents and 2 adult children in Dublin was difficult, but we found the family room at the Ashling and it was just perfect - 2 twins, 1 double and a sofa and small table for breakfast & snacks - lots of room. Rooms were very... More

Stayed 4 nights with my wife and daughter at the Ashland Hotel. The reception staff were extremely helpful. The services were excellent, including the dining and bar. It is located conveniently to most attractions, and within walking distance to Guinness Storehouse, Phoenix Park, and Zoo. Tram stop is close and only a short ride to downtown and Temple Bar.

Only stayed one night which is a shame as would have liked to spend more time here. Room was large and quiet and staff very helpful. Beautiful lobby and restaurant. Very close to the Guinness Storehouse and the bus/tram network is right on the doorstep.

Lovely hotel from start to finish. Great location with parking a bonus. Reception staff were so helpful and friendly, especially considering how busy check in was at the time!
