We arrived into Dublin very late,3am having had a delayed flight and on arrival at the hotel all the ckeck-in documentation was ready for us . We were immediately directed to our room which was beautifully fitted out with superb furnishings and the bathroom was a 5star rating. Excellent air con. no noise. Buffet breakfast in the morning was excellent,... more

The new Ashling Hotel (located where the old one was) is absolutely gorgeous. From the very very soft sofas in the lobby and the bar to the plush carpets and the nice rooms, it is an excellent place. Mind you, some rooms are nicer than others, of course. We had asked for a non-smoking room and asked to change the... more

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel........the first was before the refurbishment. We enjoyed our first stay and it was a cosy basic Best Western Hotel then but the refurbishment has totally transformed this hotel both inside and out. We were lucky to have one of the brand new rooms in the new wing.......our room overlooked... more

Being in Ireland for a couple of days, this was a great location to local transports (Heuston Station, Luas) and main motorways. The hotel is fully refurbished (but I guess my room had some old furniture), some works are still on in the parking area. Good and varied breakfast options. more

This is one of the best hotels I stayed in during a 6 week journey throughout Europe. The staff were extremely accommodating and the rooms were exceptionally clean and spacious. After arriving quite late at night the staff at the Ashling re-opened the kitchen so as we could eat and were more than happy to provide information about where to... more

Booked in advance on the BestWestern website, for a weekend away. We arrived in Dublin and took the AirLink bus to the city centre, getting off at O'Connell Street. From here, we took the tram to Heuston and then got extremely lost trying to find the hotel! I would actually recommend getting off the Luas Tram at Museum and walking... more

We arrived to Dublin airport quiet early from US, waited for the bus rail system to begin, took it to Heuston station and walked up hill. It is a bit confusing and hard with the construction, but we made it. The front desk was so very nice and let us check in at that early hour. WE headed up to... more

Too far out for us in a seedy area. The building works start at 7am and one night were going on at 130am !! Avoid like the plague. Being December and 0 degrees outside we were surprised to find the heating on a timer only coming on a very short time in the morning and evening. The room was absolutely... more

I booked this two-star on Priceline thinking it'd be cheap and we'd be able to save money because breakfast would be included. Not only was breakfast not included, but we were given a room right on top of noisy construction that started at 7 a.m. All non-smoking rooms seemed to face the construction. Hotel staff kindly allowed us to change... more
