We had a great stay for 3 nights at this hotel. At check-in we were upgraded to a superior room which was modern and very comfortable. We had a great view to the Guinness factory and the river, slightly noisy from the luas (tram) but that is probably as it was an unusual noise. The staff were all really friendly... More

After reading recent reviews of the hotel it was exactly as it has been portrayed by the majority of reviewers - clean, spacious and modern. I was especially impressed by the degree of security involved in moving around within the premises. I would think twice next time before booking a superior room. It's really only worth paying the extra price if... More

Conveniently located near Heuston Station this hotel was perfect for us before we started our rail trip through Ireland. The hotel was clean, comfortable and inviting. The price was reasonable. In addition to the rail station being 2 minutes walk away there is a light rail stop and a bus stop for the 747 express bus to and from the... More

I really enjoyed the Ashling Hotel. I chose it because I could walk to the zoo from there and I am glad I did. The cost was low so I opted for one of their suites and I really enjoyed the balcony I could see the city from. The room was great, as was the hotel's staff. A bonus was... More

Stayed here for 5 days with my partner. After reading the reviews before we had high expectations and the hotel did not disappoint. We were given a complimentary upgrade upon arrival and the superior room was lovely. Clean, bright, and very modern with a bed I couldn't even touch from side to side. Breakfast was brilliant and a great start... More

We stayed here for our anniversary and it is just perfect. Close enough to walk in to town, close to the trams for further travelling and in a perfect location for being a real tourist, but with out the tourist hotel feel. The food was great, staff were amazingly helpful and friendly and it was really good value for money.... More

The young people in our family gave us vouchers as a Christmas present for the Ashling Hotel and as a result we booked an overnight stay for March, 2015. We really enjoyed our visit. Our room was really clean, spacious and comfortable, even though it looked out over the car park (next time we go I hope we get a... More

Excellent value for money hotel. Spotless, very smart, large rooms. Loved the free WiFi. Only 20 minute walk down the canal to the City Centre/Temple Bar and very convenient location for Dublin Zoo and the Guinness Storehouse. Highly recommend this for tourists that don't want to pay the extortionate prices of the City Centre hotels!

I stayed here with my family on a 4 day break. We had never been to Ireland before and after this stay I am hoping to come back again. The hotel was lovely, clean, friendly staff and the food is very good. It is also in a good location for site seeing. The tram is just on the opposite side... More
