The staff at the Ashling and the Manager Eugene are first class! My wife and I stay at the Ashling whenever we are in Dublin, great breakfast, close to the train station and the Lewis. We always look forward to staying.

While we were only staying in the hotel for 2nights, it was an absolutely beautiful place to stay. Booked the hotel after reading a lot of the good reviews on here, and we were not disappointed. The hotel was beautiful, decorated lavishly and the hotel staff were very friendly and always smart. There were 3 of us friends staying, and... More

We had a lovely stay at the Ashling hotel! Our room was huge, comfortable, and quiet. The staff was friendly and accommodating, even allowing us a late check-out. The breakfast was ample and delicious. The tram right outside the door is convenient, though it takes a good 20 minutes to get to the city centre. Overall, we had a great... More

This hotel is beautiful, the room is of a lovely size and clean and the staff are so kind and chatty, they make your experience perfect. We stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful time, we ate in the bar area and the food is amazing the best chunky chips I have ever had. Would return here if a... More

Stayed for three nights whilst we were on holiday in Dublin. Hotel was very nice, bed was as big as anything I've ever slept in, and very comfortable. Room well-appointed, bathroom nice (although I would have preferred a bigger shower, tbh, and my girlfriend wasn't impressed with the relatively weak hairdryer). We were on the first floor, facing outwards, so... More

This hotel is lovely, perfect location and clean. I must start by saying we visited Ireland during July - temperate were hitting late 20's most days. The air con in the lobby was amazing it was a shame it is not delivered throughout. We first arrived to room 530 - lovely room, clean and spacious. The heat was astounding and... More

Thank you for your lovely comments about your recent stay at the Ashling. I am so pleased to hear that you were able to get a great nights sleep once you moved rooms. We have recently been going through an unusually hot spell and our Classic rooms which have no air conditioning were quite warm. We have now also made... More

Two friends and I spent the weekend in dublin to celebrate one of our 40 th birthday. We wanted a comfortable room, fairly central where we could explore the city and not have too far to walk back after a few drinks. This is a lovely hotel, about 15 minutes from the city centre but good public transport and a... More

Great location, can see it from the train station. The Luas stops just a few metres up the road, making it even easier to get around. All of the staff are helpful and friendly. Just returned from a two night city break to Dublin staying at the Ashling hotel. Picked this hotel because of its location and we were not disappointed. We were able to easily walk to many local attractions including Pheonix Park, Dublin Zoo, Kilmainham Gaol and the Guinness Storehouse. For sights that were further away we simply got on a hop...
