We stayed here for one night with our one year old! The hotel is lovely. Staff were very attentive and friendly! Breakfast was first class and again staff were very helpful getting us stuff we needed for the baby. The tram stop is just a 2 min walk from hotel and it takes you into city centre in 5 mins!... We stayed in the Ashling Hotel during 4 days in the middle of August and really enjoyed our stay there. Location: The location is fantastic, close to Heuston station with a lot of busses and trams running to all directions. The AirLink bus toward the airport is also going to/from there. Room: We had a really fantastically big room (Superior... More

We stayed here a total of 4 nights, at the beginning and ending of an 8 day tour of Ireland. The hotel is very well situated, being close to Heuston Station, for regular train service, and the red Luas line streetcars, and a drop point for direct bus service to and from Dublin Airport. Because we arrived one day early,... More

Stayed for one night in room on first floor at front above reception. Cost was ok (€92). Restaurant meal was mixed (chowder was good, mixed grill was a minimal serving). Room was nice decor but noisy off street (trams till midnight, bypassers, coaches waiting and trams again at 6am). Room was clean but bathroom smelt stale....and shower head was at... More

Stayed two nights at ashling before before flying back to the states. Check in was very pleasant the ladies at the reception desk were really nice and good fun. We were travelling with my 5 year old daughter and they gave her a little bag of "goodies". Which I thought was a great little touch. My 13 year old they... More

We spent one night here. The light rail line runs in front of the hotel and guests must cross the tracks to enter and exit the hotel - a bit of a drawback for those traveling with small children. Our room was nice and quiet. The restaurant left some things to be desired, however. A group of us had asked... More

I was using the hotel for some interviews but we regularly use it for meetings. The events team are excellent and really helpful. They offered to change our room when there was building work outside and though we didn't need to move it was great they offered rather than having to ask. The hotel is in a great location -opposite... More

My 2 daughters and I stayed here for 2 nights in August 2014. We were so impressed with this hotel - it was beautiful and the rooms large and comfortable. We found the location to be perfect, within easy walking distance to the sights we wished to visit. We had breakfast there one morning and it was fabulous - I... More

Our family of 5 stayed in the family room for one night. The huge room was wonderfully clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fabulous. I highly recommend this hotel for it's location, style, friendly staff, and comfort.
