Stayed for 2 nights and was well impressed with the Red Cow hotel. Comfortable beds in a large clean warm room. Breakfast was very good also, staff were friendly and professional. Large bar was well stocked and the Guinness was delicious. Only downside was my room was above the kitchen and in the morning the smell from the fryer woke... More

Having landed late in Dublin airport, stayed here for the night as it was en route to our next stop the following morning. Very difficult to find the entrance but otherwise its fine. Prices are low. Hotel is basic, clean and ok. Breakfast is not great. The staff (appear to have no Irish staff at all) were friendly and helpful.... More

Myself and partner have stayed in this hotel a few times per year for the last 3 or 4 years, and because it's local and familiar and safe it didn't occur to us to review it for others. It was only after a few stays in bigger, "posher", more expensive hotels that we realised what a GEM the Red Cow... More

My partner and I have just spent the weekend at a the Red Cow, We got a great offer for bed breakfast and an evening meal. My review will cover the positives and unfortunately the negatives. Check in - On arrival I approached one of two receptionists, immediately greeted and check in commenced but on a number of occasions the... More

Booked 4 rooms (all the same, or meant to be!) for two nights in July for a weekend in Dublin. First off we were a little frustrated after flights/taxi to be told at 2pm that they can't book us in yet as there was two weddings on and other guests had asked for rooms and so we should come back... We stayed one night in July upon arriving in Dublin. I didn't want to travel to far considering I would have jet lag and would be driving on the left side of the road in a car with steering wheel on the right side learning new rules in a foreign country. It's about 15 minute drive on M50 from Dublin... More

Very clean comfortable hotel with friendly efficient staff. Good size rooms. Large free car park. Locaton will not suit everyone as it is quite a distance from cty centre and located on a busy highway. Nothing to do within walking distance except a McDonalds where you can eat cheaply. Very good hotel but check the location suits your needs.

I stayed for two nights on the 29th and 30th of July with my wife, daughter, and two grandchildren in adjoining rooms. I have used this hotel on my own, and with my family on many occasions, and will continue to do so. Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable rooms and good food, all in a well run hotel, are the reasons we keep going back.

We stayed at the Red Cow before our flight back to Dublin. The hotel has a lot lovely facade and beautiful reception area however when we checked in no attempt was made to help us with our luggage which I would expect from a hotel. There was also a concierge desk but no concierge in sight. Reception staff were friendly... More
