On arrival the receptionist was both efficient & friendly, check in was fast. The room was lovely double bed & single bed, big bathroom, coffee/tea making facilities,... more

The purpose of our stay was a weekend getaway to the city. The hotel has ample parking and is only a few minutes walk to the Luas so we left the car for the weekend and used the Luas to tour the city. The hotel is out a bit from the city so transport is vital. On entering the hotel... more

I stayed in the Red Cow Hotel in Feb 2009, the hotel was quite good value, the rooms though large looked a little tired. Staff were good to deal with, food was OK. Free parking is available, if you are driving the hotel is located near a major road interchange just South of Dublin. The LUAS tram is also available... more

20 minute wait On the morning of the 1 January we (party of 3) had to wait 20 minutes for table at breakfast. The breakfast service was obvisiously unable to cope at times of peak demand (10.30 on the morning of bank holiday). Bland Breakfast Breakfast was very average. Cooked Irish breakfast was brought to your table and was very... more

My husband and I are in Ireland for business and for the first three nights of the trip we are staying at the Red Cow Inn. Overall, it is a decent hotel, and since we have another week left of his business trip and two more hotels to go, I might be saying it is a fantastic place for Irish... more

The hotel itself was welcoming, the room extremely large but cool and the only temperature control is fan/air heating which either keeps you awake and warm, or cold and quiet, so a decision to make. In effect I would have... more
