If you want to be close to "the action" here is a good place to stay. While the hotel could be better the location says it all, just around the corner from Templebar, the "heart" of Irish music, bars and restaurants. The rooms are clean, the price is OK and the Breakfast Room is fine.

Stayed at this hotel the first weekend in December. The staff were excellent, especially the receptionist who was just brilliant, nothing was too much bother. Location great. My friend and I go every year to Dublin and have stayed in different hotels in the Temple Bar area but I will be booking Blooms again for next year.

Just got back home and felt compelled to write this. Superb hotel - does exactly what it's suppose to do. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very comfortable (but watch out for the shiny tiled bathroom floors - especially when they get wet!) and the hotel bar (VAT bar) served the best Guinness for me!! This hotel... More

This hotel is right in the middle of Temple Bar; great location.............if you're with a stag party and don't plan to sleep! Alarm bells started ringing when, in addition to copying my credit card the clerk demanded a 50 Euro deposit in cash! 'It's policy'. There's a nightclub in the basement and the sound reverbs through the building until 3am;... More

We stayed at Bloom's hotel which is right in Temple Bar. We were warned it might be loud, but it was not at all loud in our room. The VAT pub is connected and is a fun pub with very fun Irish music playing. This was very conveneint for us to have nightcaps in each night, but the music did... More

You not booking the Ritz, but for a decent price you in the centre of the city, with a bar attached so late night drinks possible as well. Staff are friendly, rooms are clean, and prices can be decent at certain times of the year. If your just around for a night or two in Dublin city and are out... More

Stayed at the Blooms recently, it's a great lively spot. The staff were great as was the food and musical entertainment. The rooms were ok but if you have had a late night don't expect much of a lay-in because from about 8.30 it's like sleeping beside a train station as the floors are all tiled and all you can here... I was looking for a budget place to stay - and looking in Airbnb could not find anything better than this small and old hotel. The staff is ok, the room is small and you will have problems to sleep if you get a room in front of the building.
