Stayed in the Blooms Hotel in August 2008. Budget hotel with rooms that need upgrading. If you are in Dublin to party and pub crawl, this is the hotel for you as it is in the centre of Temple Bar. Very noisy on the weekends with people leaving the pubs around 3-4am. If you prefer peace and quiet, either chose... more

When we arrived at the hotel we went straight to our room as it was ready, we were on the scond floor in a refurbished room, it was clean and all that we needed. I was worried about the noise from the club downstairs but we didnt hear a peep, just a few people on the streets outside when the... more

Myself and my boyfriend booked a weekend away (2nights) to Dublin and I choose Blooms Hotel based on the website appearance - but looks can be deceiving. The Hotel was booked about a month in advance and the lady who took the booking called our details back to us over the phone to ensure they were correct - no problems!... more

I used to stay at this hotel years ago with my band when it was Dublin's Rock'n'Roll hotel. We spent a lot of money putting between 8-10 people up at least four or five times a year in this place. It had good character then and it's music credentials helped it gain credibility. They had signed pictures of all the... more

We stayed at Blooms Hotel from Tuesday to Saturday, and were lucky to get a refurbished twin room on the third floor. The first two nights (Tue to Thu) were okay but as soon as the weekend was approaching, the problems began. It is true what many other have written here: you cannot avoid hearing the nightclub even on the... more

This hotel issituated in the centre of Dublin, within easy reach of Temple Bar, O'Connell St. and Grafton St. areas. We arrived at 12.00 noon but were allowed to check in immediately and were given a room 309 on the 3rd... more

The Blooms hotel is very central, good value for money and if you get a refurbed room, really nice. However, unless you are on floor 4 you will hear noise from the nightclub. I went with friends and we fully expected to hear noise outside due to the location of Club M. However, our room on the second floor was... more
