Not a welcoming hotel. No bellman or any staff to offer help up the hotel front steps (no ramp) with luggage. Front desk quick check in with information you need to know given as though read with little eye contact or smile. Room was in desperate need of updating & not well equipped. No A/C so windows need to be... More

My wife and I have just returned from short break in Dublin and really enjoyed staying here. The room was large, comfortable and well appointed, the staff marvellous, and the restaurant (especially breakfast) of a very high standard. The hotel is less than 5 minutes from the stop for both the coach from the airport and the sightseeing buses. Very... More

Our 9th stay at this hotel. We are never disappointed because the accommodation and staff are superb. The rooms are clean and well appointed and the breakfasts are very good with everything you could wish for. The location suits our needs as it is only 10/15 minutes walk from Temple Bar and from most restaurants. Excellent bus services are virtually... More

Stayed here on the 17th October just for the night and was pleasantly surprised. The room we stayed on the ground floor was clean and not a sound could be heard which was great considering its central location. The bed were spotlessly clean and comfortable. The lady on reception that checked us in and indeed the gentleman that checked us... More

Since the purpose of our trip to Dublin was to see Dublin "on foot", this was the perfect hotel for us! We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Staff is so gracious and helpful. The only negative I have is the breakfast buffet...so be prepared to have breakfast elsewhere (there... More

The hotel is located at the top of O'Connell st, 5 minutes walk from the liffey and the temple bar area. The hotel is quite small for a city hotel, however is friendly, clean and quiet due to its location. Stayed in a single room which although was quite small was clean and comfortable. Not cheap but was acceptably priced.

I stayed here for 5 nights. The location was good. Walking distance to shops and a few pubs. The rooms had a very stale feeling to it since there is no air movement. No AC or fan. Couldn't open a window due to being next to an alley and it was too loud. A little on the worn out side.... More

The internet is great and free. The price is not the lowest, but that is to be expected when you are 200 metres from the Spire. The coffee in the room was great. I hate instant coffee, but this didn't taste of it. The coffee at breakfast on the other hand was turgid filth. The scrambled eggs smelled and tasted... More

I was really impressed by the staff at this centrally located hotel. They went out of their way to check us in early, were patient and helpful when describing places and generally lovely. On two days we were leaving before breakfast started so they put on toast, tea, yoghurt and fruit in the bar. Wonderful.

The hotel Is easy to reach because the bus from the airport stops at 100 m from it. I had a very quiet room, it was also comfortable, recently renewed too. Not far from the Real center of the City (trinity college). Anyway the area of talbot Street Is fine For eating or having a beef and Is also less... More
