My husbnd and I stayed at Cassidy's in late October-early November 2009. It is a bit of a walk to the O'Connell Bridge, Temple Bar and shopping, but do-able. Staff was reasonably helpful with the exception of one person who seemed to like to create conflict. Upon our arrival (after 20 hours of travel) we were told in no uncertain... more

We stayed at the Cassidys Hotel for two nights in early October. Our group had a triple and a double. The hotel location, great; cleanliness, great; staff helpfulness, great; price, great; breakfast, great. My main complaint was being put in a room right above busy Upper O'Connel street. I felt like we were sleeping on the sidewalk the sound from... more

We stayed for 3 nights. Our rooms were in the new "Executive" section; they were clean, bright, and the beds were very comfortable. My friends had a spacious double and I had a cozy single. It was just right. Located on a busy street, we nevertheless had peaceful rest. If you like theater, it is close to the Abbey and... more

This hotel is brilliant. On arrival we were given prompt and courteous attention by the receptionist. Our room was located in the executive wing which is a bit of a walk from the reception area. The walk was worth it since the room was located in a newer part of the hotel away from the street. Rooms are very clean,... more

We stayed at this hotel for a long weekend. We knew Dublin would be expensive (and it is –very!) so were on a budget for accommodation and booked this hotel through cheap hotel website and seemed to get it really cheap! I mean really really cheap! Obviously with paying this cheap price we were concerned with what we would find... more

My sister and I stayed at Cassidys for 3 nights over a long weekend. Overall, the hotel was a great value for us on a budget. The location was great for seeing all the sites we wanted to in Dublin. We took a day tour to the Wicklow mountains and the stop for that bus was just down the block... more

The hotel was a good value with a great location. There is parking in the rear. We were in the newer part of the hotel and the rooms were very nice, nothing spectacular but nice. We would stay there again. We were allowed to check in a little eary. Check out was efficient. The only problem we had was our... more

We visited Dublin for only 4 days/ 3 nights and stayed at Cassidys. Therefore, it was important to us to have a central hotel that was not too expensive. The hotel is situated at the northern part of the city centre and you can reach all important attractions within 15 min by foot. On the other hand it was still... more
