For the price we paid the room was very disappointing. Dirty rusty bathroom, with open electrical sockets. (See photos) The staff wasn't accommodating about that, made us feel it was our problem. Neither were they knowledgable about where to go to. Won't stay here again.

What a superb hotel in a fantastic location. Quiet rooms, nice bar, friendly staff and easily the best breakfast of any place in Ireland, the range of food, fruit, breads, hot and cold dishes to eat in cutely decorated areas or outside was greatly appreciated on a lovely sunny morning. The facility to leave your luggage after check out is... More

Booked to stay at Cassidys as was running the Rock 'n' Roll half marathon over the bank holiday weekend. Have stayed here several times before and cannot recommend the hotel highly enough. The hotel is ideally located at the top end of O'Connell Street, meaning a short walk to the main shopping areas and sightseeing spots. The staff are friendly... More

The hotel has a good position and a very nice staff at the reception, but that's all. The bathroom vas really old and dirty, especially the curtain of the bath tube was disgusting, and the bath tub itself very slippery and dangerous; they had no toilet brush which was very upsetting. We stayed 3 nights and the 1st day they... More

Me and the Mrs booked a last minute weekend trip and stayed here. We couldn't fault the place. It's in a good location at top of o'connell street, hotel and room was clean, staff were helpful and friendly, bar was cosy and reasonably priced, would definitely stay there again.

If you are looking for a basic short stay that is close to everything this hotel if for you. Rooms are clean and look like they have been renovated but there are missing light bulbs and the lighting in the bathroom isn't very good. We had a balcony which didn't really have a view and may be it would have... More

Me and my boyfriend had a two night stay here. I had never been to dublin before but the location was fantastic. 5-10 minute walk to all the best places. The food was amazing and the staff were very friendly. No complaints at all. Would stay here again.

Spent 3 nights here over a weekend in August . The hotel which is opposite the gate theatre was easy to find after travelling from the airport on the 747 bus and getting off at stop number 7 at a cost of 6 euro per single ticket and taking around 30 mins . Although we arrived early morning the reception... More

Really lovely place with very helpful staff. We found it after being unable to stay in our original hotel and they managed to fit us in on very short notice and were really helpful and kind. Food was lovely and the rooms were clean and spacious. A little expensive, but given the location (which is fantastic) that is to expected.

I was very impressed with the hotel. They were very professional and helpful with information when asked. The bar in the hotel was clean and the employees in the bar where fun and enjoyable. We have taken with us many laughs and memories. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and I am very lucky to have picked... More
