Good value for money. Within walking distance of the centre and there's a tram stop right outside. Of the three hotels I used in Dublin, this is the only one I'd happily return to. The building is old, with the 'melted ice-cream' flower mouldings on the ceiling which will be familiar to British visitors, but kept immaculately clean. The overall... More

I have been in this hotel twice. This is a nice hotel and a good location. The room was located at the front, this was a little noisy with the clubs facing the room. The most annoying thing about this hotel was going out for a smoke at night it was a nightmare to get in and out there was... More

I went to Dublin last summer with one of my best friends. We chose the hotel since it was very central and it was one of the cheapest ones. We liked it, especially the room they assigned to us: we booked a double room and they gave us a triple with one king and one twin bed. The weak points... More

I was frustrated with this hotel. I wanted to love it but things kept getting in the way. Firstly, when the hotel advertises that there could be noise due to the hotel bar, they are not lying. Night time was miserable, noisy and sleepless. We were right on the second floor directly above the outside bar AND it was also... More

I did not expect this place to so... "hostel-like" as opposed to a nice hotel. The staff is fantastic, however the accommodations leave something to be desired. The rooms are very small, which isn't terrible, especially if you're just looking for a place to crash for the night... The hotel as a whole is sort of dark and dreary... Especially... More

We stayed here as a couple for one night as we were going to a concert in the adjacent Iveagh Gardens. The location is perfect and the parking arrangements with the nearby q-park at Stephen's Green is reasonable- €6 from 5pm until 10am and then €3p/h thereafter. Within walking distance to the hotel. There are many bars, clubs and restaurants... More

Asked for a quiet room because Harcourt Street can be very noisy. Request granted but the quiet rooms are in the roof space. Clean but quite small bedroom. Breakfast ok. Did the job as an overnight stay on business.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Extremely noisy 24x7 (in a supposed quieter room), too warm/ no fan or air-con, inconsiderate guests and staff, smell of smoke in rooms, creaking floor boards for 2-hrs constantly above room every morning from 6:30am!! Terrible.

Stayed here for a concert, was perfect for what we needed, rooms were basic and clean, Our room was noisy as there is a nightclub and disco bar in this hotel, in saying that we didn't mind but would not stay here for a romantic or family break, if I was to attend another group break I would stay here... Just back from a night here. Room cost 49 Euro which was great. From reading the reviews of this hotel I was expecting a lot of noise at night but that was not the case at all! Had a great sleep the place was very quiet! Location is good, bit of a walk to Grafton street which can be annoying... More
