Dont normally give bad reviews but no level of good service could account for the most uncomfotable beds I've slept in. Of the 5 beds in the room 4 had collapsed matrices so none of us got a decent sleep.

A very central location, price was good, nice enough room but unfortunately the noise of the nightclubs and music in the bar goes onto 5 am on Thursday anyway. Then the Luas tram goes past early enough - worst night sleep in a long time. I was in a room at the front. Get some ear plugs is my advice... More

we stayed for one night as we were attending a concert in the National concert hall. the location of the hotel was ideal for this, as the concert hall is only around the corner. To access our room it was necessary to go out of the hotel door from reception and enter a door two doors down, which seemed peculiar,... More

We arrived late on Sunday night. As requested we were given a room higher up and away from the nightclub....they had a dj on Sunday night. Was a little loud, but managed to sleep. Had breakfast at the hotel, although I had phoned previously re breakfast as we have a 4 yr old..booking on line it wouldn't let me add... More

I got a room on the first floor, which is a ok room. Big and spacious. However, there is a nightclub just outside the window. The music is so loud that the noise from the ventilation seems like nothing... I guess that's why they were so eager that we paid in advance.

On the surface this hotel should be a convenient location, close to the pedestrian traffic but unfortunately it's also right across the street from popular clubs. In Dublin the party isn't over until the police chase the clubbers out of the streets at 5:00 AM. On a Friday or Saturday Iook elsewhere you will not get any sleep period. Even... More

Terrible hotel. Overbooked so ended up in a dorm room of ten that had a door onto the street. - Staff were very unhelpful with some questionable advice - Good bar - Good food - Night club beside bedrooms which was odd Let down by organisation skills and the staff. Good luck if you're drunk and can't find your room... More

We stayed 3 nights at the Harcourt Hotel. Our room was very nice. There was no sleep to be had at night though. They also have a night club and it's very loud until very early in the morning. The beer garden is beautiful and the food was good. If your staying for vacation, it's a lengthy walk down to... More

Friendly staff. Great rooms and breakfast. Do not know why there are negative reviews. Couldn't fault the place. Recommend especially for groups. Came here with a group of mates and loved it. Would be a good choice for stag and hen groups too.

My daughter and I stayed for 2 nights in the Harcourt and it was a wonderful couple of days. The location is brilliant for shopping, tourism and socialising. Our room was on the 2nd floor which was great, as it appears to have drowned out the noise other people have had an issue with. The room was more than adequate... More
