We knew by previous reviews that this hotel was known to be loud ...but, we really had no idea that it housed 3 clubs. So, each night we didn't get to sleep until around 4AM when the music stopped. And then we had the crowd outside our hotel window to listen to for another hour or so. I would not... More

You...will...not...sleep... You...will...not...sleep... Decor was dated but attractive...the room was small but comfortable.., the bathroom was tiny with great water pressure...the breakfast was delicious...the price was great, especially for the location...looking at 3 stars, right?? No way... The noise is unbelievable....when a cabbie picked us up the next morning, his first words were, "You stayed here?" Be wary of an establishment... More

I have just returned from Dublin and am looking forward to a good nights sleep! I have never experienced such noise, which went on until 4.00pm in the morning, before, The earplugs provided did nothing to help The furniture in the (shabby) bedroom was vibrating with the relentless beat of the music Is there not a local authority that vets... As most of the other reviewers have warned, you will not get a good night's sleep. You are effectively trying to sleep above a night club with the main speaker system in a garden area at the rear of the hotel. It's like a form of relentless aural torture. The windows don't close and the bed will practically vibrate. The... More

I read all the reviews from Russell court and because I'm a young 25 year old that works at a nightclub myself, I knew the noise wouldn't bother me or my older brother, so I decided to book anyways. The location is good, but here are my issues. I was asked to pay a 50€ deposit at check in that... More

I stayed here recently for three nights in a twin room. We had booked this hotel before reading the hotel's reviews, so when we booked it, we didn't know about the nightclubs. There are at least two nightclubs underneath/ very close to the building, plus a bar and an outdoor patio, and they were definitely noisy. It was almost unbelievable.... More

I spent one night here on a quick visit to Dublin. The price was very reasonable and included an ok breakfast but the reception and certainly the room I stayed in could do with a spruce up. The bed was less than comfortable and I could actually feel the springs through the mattress .if you do not intend to visit... More

Not a hotel but a room inside a cheap and tacky club. I'm not exagurating when I sat the music was the loudest I have ever had to listen to whilst in bed. Terrible music also. The hotel is advertised as lively, well it's mentioned once on their website. What people need to realise is its fit for drunk people... More
