69 euros - incredible value. This is a great 3 star hotel punching above its weight. Clean warm cosy room with a great breakfast. Having stayed in 4 star and 5 star hotels across the globe there is nothing better than home comforts and a full Irish breakfast and a cup of tea.

I have never visited at the Uppercross Hotel, but I regularly frequented the restaurant, Mother Reillys, while staying in Dublin. The property is unique in that there is a small walk-in pub inside the front door with about a half-dozen seats. A good place to watch sporting events as there a few unobtrusive TVs. One must walk down a small... More

The beds are excellent and the rooms are comfortable and cozy. The off street parking is a real bonus. I know stay 2/3 times monthly with work as do all of our organisation. For 65 euro per night it cannot be faulted.

The staff here are very pleasant. The rooms are not luxurious but spacious and spotlessly clean. Comfortable beds and enjoyed a good nights sleep. Very nice food is available in the adjoining pub. Excellent location for the centre of Dublin - and Rathmines itself has a lot to offer. Overall would be happy to recommend.

Spent 5 nights here with a local organisation on a business trip. Arrived quite late in the evening and check in was very efficient. It was less than 5 mins. Receptionist was very friendly and showed me to my room. There is definitely a family run feel to this hotel as there were small touches you only get with a... More

My daughter lives in Rathmines and we were visiting for her birthday. We were looking for a nearby hotel and my search found UpperCross Hotel. Even though my daughter works only about 200 metres away she did not know it was there! I believe it used to be a guest house attached to a pub and indeed if you did... More

Arrived by 9.15 and although we weren't due to check in till 2 when asked to leave our bags we were informed the room was ready. Lovely room. Really pleased with accommodation and very... More

Stayed here a few weeks ago. Very central and near some good pubs. Room itself is average but clean and in working order. It suited us as we were only staying the one night. Breakfast next morning was only fair but in fairness it's a 3 star and can't expect much more. Free car park is always a plus.

Wonderful South Dublin lodging! The reservation process from the US was easy, and staff was responsive with our questions and requests. In Rathmines, the hotel is a 10 min. Dublin bus ride to City Center, but in the neighborhoods of Dublin, apart from the busy - ness of downtown. As an American, I have a low tolerance for the smell... More
