I REALLY liked this hotel! The manager was incredibly helpful and accommodating, ALL the staff were cheerful and pleasant, it had charm, comfort and a fantastic breakfast, and all for a very reasonable price! A really nice atmosphere in this hotel! Thank you!

Myself and my husband stayed here for two nights and had a lovely time. Although the room we got was a bit on the small side it was very clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely with a choice of cereals and cooked breakfasts. The dinner was beautiful. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. would definity stay again.

I stayed for 3 nights over a bank holiday weekend and found Uppercross House Hotel a pleasant place to stay in the Rathmines district. It's a bus ride from the city centre or you can walk to St Stephen's Green in about 30-40 minutes. I was travelling alone but was given a triple room to myself which was clean and... More

Located close to our son and family within walking distance to Dublin Centre the Uppercross offers a friendly homely atmosphere in a very clean and comfortable facility. Breakfast and meals were of a high standard at a reasonable cost. Great access to WiFi and the staff provided excellent information about Ireland and Dublin in particular. David is a warm mine... Visiting my son who lives nearby so location excellent for me. Free wifi everywhere in hotel. Only ate breakfast there but it was very good...freshly cooked not the far too frequent buffet. Room was clean with a good shower and bath...my solitary gripe - shower curtain not glass panel, though not as clingy as some I've met! Very relaxed atmosphere,... More

I don't want to re-state everything that has been already said about the wonderful staff, lovely breakfast, dated rooms, nice bar/restaurant, location, etc. However one thing I have found missing from most of the reviews (and that I've noticed the few times I have stayed there) is that if someone is in the room next to you at times it... This hotel resembles the Tardis: Behind the ordinary town house entrance is a surprisingly large and sprawling hotel. Our room was very comfortable but unexceptional. There was a little flaking paint in the bathroom and a broken wall-socket cover, but it was clean and otherwise well looked after. It was very quiet, the staff were friendly and helpful, and they... I stay here regularly with work and I love it. Reception staff are very helpful, they can't do enough for you. The recption area is nice and relaxed. Rooms are warm and comfortable. Mother Reilly's bar is great. Great pint of Guinnes and a bloody good steak if you're hungry! Live music some nights as well. Free car parking and... More

What a lovely hotel. We spent seven nights there and were very happy. Our primary focus of the trip was a conference, which was located nearby, but this hotel would be perfect for anyone wanting to visit Dublin, but also wanting to stay a bit outside the downtown. All of the rooms are comfortable and of a reasonable size. The... More

Just spent a hectic weekend staying in this nice hotel. Even though it's a little bit out of the centre of Dublin, the area of Rathmines is lively in it's own right, although there are buses into "town" every few minutes from right by the hotel. We particularly enjoyed Graces a pub right by the hotel. Great music! The hotel... More
