My daughter lives in Rathmines and we were visiting for her birthday. We were looking for a nearby hotel and my search found UpperCross Hotel. Even though my daughter works only about 200 metres away she did not know it was there! I believe it used to be a guest house attached to a pub and indeed if you did... More

Arrived by 9.15 and although we weren't due to check in till 2 when asked to leave our bags we were informed the room was ready. Lovely room. Really pleased with accommodation and very... More

Stayed here a few weeks ago. Very central and near some good pubs. Room itself is average but clean and in working order. It suited us as we were only staying the one night. Breakfast next morning was only fair but in fairness it's a 3 star and can't expect much more. Free car park is always a plus.

Wonderful South Dublin lodging! The reservation process from the US was easy, and staff was responsive with our questions and requests. In Rathmines, the hotel is a 10 min. Dublin bus ride to City Center, but in the neighborhoods of Dublin, apart from the busy - ness of downtown. As an American, I have a low tolerance for the smell... More

Stayed in this hotel the night before the Dublin City Marathon as my husband was taking part, we were given a quiet room at the back of the hotel with a double and single bed. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we both slept really well. As it was a bank holiday Monday they were not due to start serving... More

I needed somewhere reasonable to stay in Dublin for one night and I stumbled onto this hotel via a booking site. It fulfilled my needs which were a comfortable bedroom for the night (in which everything worked (not necessarily a given in hotels) and a full Irish breakfast in the morning.

A real gem in the up and coming Student quarter of Dublin. The hotel is really homely and makes you feel part of the Dublin scene, mixing tourists like us, with every day Dubliners. The hotel is on a street which offers, cafes, bakers, butchers, pubs, clubs and restaurants. The only problem was, that the food in the Hotel (old... More

I booked this hotel for a company team reward trip, which is diffuiclut when you do not know Dublin. The reservations team were very helpful with my questions and then after their stay my team only had good comments, they all said it was a friendly family run hotel. It had character, was lovely and clean and in a good... More
