We stayed here for a birthday break and had a very good time. Breakfast was not great and there is not a lot to in the hotel but the room was nice enough and a lot to do around the local area. Would consider staying here again given the price.

I spent 4 nights here in November 2015. The welcome was friendly and I was shown to my room which was warm and compact. Tea/ coffee making facilities are provided in the rooms, coffee is also available in the lobby. One computer terminal with free internet access is available downstairs for those who have not brought their own device. The... More

Compared to some Dublin hotels the Uppercross is good value good quality 3 star. As a converted and extended old building on a tight site, internally it is a bit of a rabbit warren with narrow corridors. I did not eat in the restaurant in the evening nor use the bar. Breakfast was as you would expect - juice, small... More

Stayed for 3 nights. Were welcomed by a bright, cheerful young lady on a pretty wet and dismal November evening. Our room was excellent, clean and comfortable. Nice, standard bathroom, no issues with water pressure or temperature in a 2nd floor room, regular mixer shower over bath. This hotel is Tardis-like, and takes a little while to get your bearings,... Very nice place with very friendly and helpful staff. Not far from city center. Great value for money. A little bit greasy breakfast, as far as usual Irish cuisine. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was Very comfortable.

Stayed for a week while going to websummit in Dublin. Good homely hotel with a quiet pub and restaurant downstairs so it's easy to get a meal and a drink after a long day. Everyone super friendly and helpful. Breakfast good if your fine without fancy breakfasts. Rathmines is a good location. Plenty of stuff around, safe and only 10... More

Stayed for one night, secure parking on site which was an added bonus. Checked in by very friendly lady. Room very cosy, looking out into the main road but extremely quiet. Room very clean, albeit I stood on a wet patch just outside the bathroom, yellow....prob water stain, not sure what that was. Apart from that, fresh towels, etc etc. Only... More

Stayed here over the bank holiday weekend. Clean, comfortable rooms, pleasant staff and onsite parking. Breakfast was very tasty but could be bigger, I need more than one slice of bacon. We did return to our rooms around 3pm to find they weren't yet clean but staff were nearby apologising so no biggie. Convenient place to stay without having to... More
