We had a lovely stay in the Tara Towers. Yes, this hotel is old, but it is spotlessly clean and the service is good. The beautiful Waterford Crystal Chandelier in the reception is a reminder of the grand old days of this hotel. We had two rooms and had no complaint about either. We had a delicious steak dinner in... More

We stopped here from the 1st till 3rd Feburary 2016, I am still in the room while I write this. We were in room 103 right on the corner of the 1sr floor, room seemed OK when we 1st got in there, you could see Dublin bay out of our window if you looked between the tree that was blocking... More

Unwelcoming reception. Told to go for coffee and they will sort room out. I was early. only serving roast dinners on Sunday no bar snacks etc but place had no atmosphere. I had small plate of food which was ok - Crockery etc needs scraping all cheap. I then had to chase reception for an answer re room the place... More

I think this was a perfect choice! The hotel is situated on Dublin's bay, so view was stunning and the place was quiet. The hotel is really clean, the rooms are new and the restaurant looks like a pub, it's amazing. I loved the fireplace they have right on the entrance, because you come inside freezing and relax a few... More

Stayed here for one night and it was a bit pricey compared to other hotels I have stayed in recently and breakfast was not included in the price, there is also another hidden cost for car parking which is pay and display and I think the Hotel should validate your ticket for parking but dont although if you are eating... Don't know where to start! The staff are friendly and extremely helpful! The view from our room was out of this world, looking right onto the sea front! I asked if the staff could help me propose to my girlfriend and totally blew me away with what they did for me! I sent rose petals and fairy lights to the... More

This hotel has changed hands recently and let's hope it's a change for the better. The rooms are run down and in urgent need of an upgrade. The staff are most friendly but that's the only " saving grace "of this very poor standard hotel. The breakfast is best avoided .. It's of hostel standard. It's really a bad advertisement... More

Having read some poor reviews we were delighted to find the hotel very welcoming. Our room was fine, looking over Dublin Bay though like the rest of the hotel needs a bit of a facelift. The breakfast was good as was the bar food & bar service. The airport & city buses stop outside the hotel which is very convenient.... More
