The reason why i stayed in th Tara Towers Hotel is because it said that it was close to the o2. I wa going to Britney Spears that night. When we drove into the carpark it looked like an old block of apartments, the walls were all grey and didn't look that apealing. When we walked inside it looked ok.... more

Overnight business stay. Found the hotel fine, about a ten minute walk from Booterstown DART station. Room was fine with a view out over Dublin Bay, bathroom was small though. There is some traffic noise as other reviewers have commented. Bar was comfortable and ideal for a lone traveller to relax in for an hour or so! Found the bar... more

10 of us picked this hotel for a long weekend to celebrate a 40th. After booking I read a couple of reviews that were not the best and contacted the general manager direct regarding my worries, she said that she would do here best to secure sea view rooms but could not promise which I understood. Upon arrival the hotel... more

Just spent the last two days of our Irish holiday at the Tara Towers and expected better after reading many of the wonderful reviews. The location is good, apart from very noisy traffic and parking is plentiful. The room we were given, a twin on the 1st floor, bore no relation to the bedroom photo on the website. The beds... more

The hotel was convenient as I had a hospital visit in the area, also convenient for events in the RDS etc. The room, bed etc were fine though the bathroom seemed to be made for very short people. Receptionists were very pleasant, breakfast was nice though tables weren't cleared so as to be available - the pudding was really good... more

My wife and I, together with our daughter and twelve week old granddaughter, stayed at the Tara Towers for three nights from 4th to 7th August. Although we arrived early we were immediately shown to one of our rooms and the other one was ready very quickly. The two rooms we had were not only adjacent but also had an... more

This is a nice hotel, reasonable rooms, no airconditioning, which means that the window has to be opened. It opens out to a busy road, and railway line, so there is a lot of noise, more

I have just returned from a trip to Ireland. I spent my first night at the Tara Towers and I was very disappointed. I arrived early on a transatlantic flight and requested an early check in. I was informed that check in time was 2pm. I explained that I was extremely tired and could they try to prepare a room... more
