having stayed in this hostel for a weekend in February with 20 other lads for a stag party, I can honestly say you get what you pay for. Our group was split into 3 separate rooms 1 room of 4 1 room of 6 in the Kinlay Pods which had en-suite bathroom facilities & the remaining 10 of us in... More

At 9pm the heating is turned OFF until the morning. You will freeze during the night, its not even room temperature. Heating is on during the day when the least amount of people are actually in the rooms -it doesn't make sense, why have heating on when no one is there to enjoy it BUT turn it off when the... More

Kinlay hostel is the best hostel in dublin. The rooms are great and the bathrooms and kitchen. The hostel is very clean, and you can meet people easily and fastly. The connection is perfect. The best part of this hostel are the staff. The staff are awesome, nice, friendly... I recommend this hostel to everybody !!!!

This is a terrific place to stay! The price is right for the accommodations provided, the location can't be beat (across the street from Christ Church Cathedral and next door to Darkey Kelly's pub--c'mon!), and the staff tries very hard to provide what everyone needs in this busy place. The building is unusual with its own history. Check this place... More

Bed are like rocks, you have to walklike three minutes to get to the third floor because they have huge stairs but not elevators, the lockers are outside and you have to go out every time, but the worst thing is that they close the common room at 1:00 and they kick out everyone for no reason, at that hour... I stayed here with friends on a Friday night. Our room was clean and the hostel was in a great location. Staff were not overly friendly and check out was 10am which I found a little early but other than that, not a bad place to stay.

Our stay at hostel was really nice and pleasant. Staff was really friendly and helpful at all the times, gave us good tips what to do and what to see. We were late to check out but we were not charged for it and I found it really nice. Showers and toilets were clean as well as the rooms. Really... More

At only 23 Euro for a 2-night stay (Thursday and Friday evening), this place is a steal! Rooms are all locked by key card and give off a very secure feeling! There is a lounge area attached to a kitchen open to residents up until 23:00 as well as complimentary breakfast served from 7:30 to 10:00. Located very close (5-minute... More

Had the experience at the Kinlay this weekend. Not my usual choice of accomodation, but it was a last minute arrangement & it was a great experience. The room , a double for me & the wife , was adequate. Fresh white linen sheets & quality bed to sleep on. Best sleep in ages. A very young clientele obviously. (We... More
