The location is the most important feature of this hostel! You can walk to everything! The staff is really nice and helpful - there was a mix-up with the rooms, and we didn't get the one we ordered upon arrival. The guys at the desk was very nice and were trying to figure out how to help us. We ended... More

Its situated in a good location, walking distance from many attractions. Clean bathrooms and friendly staff. They also give a decent breakfast. The noise from the street outside is a bit loud but dies down later on. There is no parking at the hostel but there is a car park close by where you can park at a discounted rate... More

The place is cool. Probably a good place to spend several days, a lot of movies, comfortable sofas, big kitchen. I was there just to sleep two nights and it was fine, as any other decent hostel. bathroom and showers are also average. Nice people.

I have stayed here a few times before with friends and loved it. We checked in early and assumed we could leave our bags in the lockers as we had done before- we had plans for the next couple of hours. The man at reception told us we could not leave our bags there as there was work being done... More

GREAT price, clean bathrooms, adequate breakfast (with really cold milk!). Only complaint was that we were promised a private bathroom, but weren't provided with one and the rooms are way too WARM! Fans in the windows would help greatly!

I spent 3 nights at Kinlay's with a friend. It's a big youth hostel but the ambiance is nice, in the common room you can easily meet and talk to people. Beds are comfy and bathrooms are clean. I spent one night in a 12 beds dormitory and 2 more in the 24 beds dormitory. Not to noisy, didn't have... More

Great location! Staff is better in the mornign that by night. The whole place has a weird smell but you'll survive. Is not the best hostel i have been to but it is has what any backpacker needs, a bed, bathroom, shower and kitchen. And of course LOCATION. I might come back.

The location is very good: Airlink bus stop right in front of hostel; several-minute walk from Chester Beaty museum, archeology museum, dublinia, and all kinds of restaurants. However, breakfast was so-so, wi-fi was weak (on the top floor), and there was no elevator (we traveled with a 75-year old family member).

Over all it was very well above average. They had a few quirks and small fines for stuff that I thought was a bit "Ryanair-ish"; (According to the signage at least) If you check out after 10 (in other words sleep in) they can fine you a fiver. They might also fine you a fiver if you're receipt says "Bed A"... More

Hi There Thank you for your review and feedback, we are always looking at ways to improve so feedback is always great to get :) The few extra charges though for checking out late, sleeping in the wrong bed etc are to ensure the few rules we have are adhered too - it can be chaotic without them :) We...
