My fiancé and I stayed at Kinlay house 3 times throughout our trip to Ireland this year. We were going back and forth between cities, and each time we returned back to Kinlay House, the beds and rooms were clean and overall we had good sleep whilst we stayed. The only thing that sucked was the noise. Noise from the... More

People from everywhere makes the place very interesting, but there's not a big deal for to hangout. But it's clean, well located, friendly staff and thats all, fair enough for a few nights in the city.

Stayed at Kinlay for 3 nights. Upon arrival the guy at the front desk carried my luggage up to the second floor to my room for me. Great first impression of this place! Perfect location (only it's right on a Main Street so if you're a light sleeper like me you'll be trying to block out the noisy busses and... More

Stayed at Kinlay for 2 nights during the "Croke Park Classic", to watch Penn State vs UCF. booked a twin room, small but clean and nice enough. Towels supplied, good enough free wifi despite being on top floor. Unlike some of the other rooms, ours had a power socket. Only thing i didn't like was the noise of people using... More

I stayed in Kinlay House for 2 weeks. The first few days were ok, but then things startet to annoy me: the luggage can not be stored by the hostel, one has to rent a locker. lockers cost 2 Euro (that's not the problem) and they are near the laudry room, not close to the dorms. The Wifi was bad, most... Good location, no issues with the hostel but watch your stuff! Somebody stole my $$ last night while I was asleep. Other than the one person who is a jerk and steals things, I'd say it was a good place. Free breakfast, byo towel. No outlets in my room, need to charge phones in the hall or common area.

This was a nice hostel. Stayed with two friends for two nights to start our vacation. Be warned, check in isn't until 3. Decent common area to hang out and wait for room. Beds were extremely comfortable!!! We had a three bed room with our own private bath. Staff was friendly. Place was very clean. Free WiFi. We never got... More

Really good location and price. The Hostel itself was quiet impressive when we first arrived, big staircase and high ceilings. The kitchen was always clean and tidy and the common room was very spacious. The rooms were a bit disappointing, they were small and the beds weren't great and there was big green light above our bed that didn't go... More

Had a smooth check in and unpacked in a mixed 4 bed room, nice Kiwi couple and a Brazilian who came in at 2 am (not Kinlay's fault). I chose this hostel as I needed to be at Dublin airport early and breakfast was at 7.30 am. Odd that there is a "no alcohol" policy, for adults, the TV room... More

Recommended. This place is good, cheap, clean and centrally located. If I go back to Dublin, I wouldn't look any further than this Hostel. Just about everything worth seeing is within reasonable walking distance.
