This hostel was good. Great staff! Shout out to a member called Andy who was exceedingly helpful. It's definitely a party hostel in peak season, lots of young rockers there coming in and out smelling of guiness, so it's extremely busy if that's what you're looking for. Lots of school groups from Europe have ties with the hostel also. If... More

Myself and four friends stayed at Isaac's for four days during St Patrick's Day, and from the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful, and offered great advice on places to see, drink and eat. Special mention to Justin who was wonderful and reccomended our favourite pub, the... My girlfriends and I were eager to spend saint paddy's day in Dublin. We found free beds at the last minute at Isaac's in a 17 bed mixed room. I myself was a bit hesitant but wanting to go anyways we went through with the booking. We paid very little so I was preparing myself for anything. To my surprise... More

The hostel is conveniently located right near the Busaras and Connolly. Breakfast included and the price was absolutely fine. The biggest strength is the common areas which were plentiful and relaxed. The staff was helpful and even called up a tour booking company for me to visit Wicklow and for my mates to visit Belfast (both recommended). They have a... More

First trip to Dublin, first time in a hostel. Had an 8 bed room, full the first night with fans in town for a six nations rugby match. Despite the excitement in town, our floor was quiet and everyone was generally polite and respectful. Reception was friendly and helpful, but do speak up if you need immediate attention. I wanted... Thanks so much for your very detailed review which I am sure will be very useful to lots of people. Glad you liked the place - the eggs are kind of a treat at weekends and when they are gone they are gone. The breakfast is just a free light breakfast we offer to start people off on their day... The hostel was easy to find right near the airlink 747 bus stop and in a good location not far from the river and temple bar. We got a private double room which was clean with clean bedding and towels. The shower wasn't the warmest but it was cleaned regularly as was the toilet. Breakfast was included daily this was... Isaacs is a young hotel. By 'young', I do not mean for young people. By 'young', I do not mean it is a new hostel. By 'young', I just mean that Isaacs smells of teen spirit. The rooms are just like it is expected of a hostel: clean bunk beds, small rooms, busy shared bathrooms, free wi-fi, appropriate breakfast, people... More

The hostel is in a great area for exploring Dublin and is located on the 747 bus route to/from Dublin airport (10euro return ticket). The hostel is clean and well maintained. The beds and bedding were comfortable and the showers were in good condition. Breakfast consists of cornflakes, toast, tea, coffee, and juice. Nothing luxurious- but you can easily get... More
