Do not stay at this hostel unless you have no need to shower while you are visitng. The bathrooms were filthy, moldy, smelled bad, you get the picture. Not only were they disgusting, but the water was ICE cold. It did not matter what time of day or which showers you used, all of them were freezing. The staff could... more

This hostel has got some pros and some cons. Overall I found it to be very average indeed. The dorms, (we stayed in a mixed 4 bedder) were wonderful in terms of how comfortable a hostel would be expected to be. Quite clean and very comfortable. Not saying that you should expect anything special, but you will be comfortable in... more

The service wasn't that great. The room was good the beds were also good and clean! The location is very good right next to dublin major bus station and dublin is a great city! The toilets and showers were not good and i wouldn't take a shower on that hostel, the toilets smelt very bad! And the noise from the... more

The good communal/social side and great transport and easy access to the city centre location doesn't make up for the very basic accomodation; this isn't up to usual city hostel standards. Small private room, double bunk bed was welcome for us as a couple as many hostels will only give couples a single bed/bunk/ twins but no where to put... more

I went with a group of students and all seemed to be fine and dandy (other than it being dirty and way overpriced... oh and the fact they were remodeling at the time and didn't seem to mention this to anyone). As we were leaving, I checked my belongings and low and behold, 150 euros had been stolen from my... more

Before setting off, we had done our research and were aware that the hostel was difficult to find, but this proved to be the least of our worries. After a relatively easy walk from O'Connell Street, we discovered that the entrance to the hostel was situated in a dark alleyway just after you passed under a to a brdge that... more

I stayed at the Isaacs hostel in NOvember 2008. It was not good for me. NO hot water to clean dishes or soap. Toilets didn't work, and not the cleanest place for sure. LOUD train that goes by every 5 minutes, but the staff was fairly nice. Will NOT stay again. It's a good place for young college or high... more

Nice, well-lit hostel. I stayed in a 6 bed dorm, which was alright in terms of cleanliness. It was near a road, and the hostel itself is underneath a train line, so bring ear plugs. That being said, we did wake up to soothing, funky music in the mornings, drifiting in from the window, which was a bonus. There are... more
