Hostel staff were friendly, parking free and safe, rooms clean and spacious for hostel. I read few not that good reviews and dont want to agree.. Yes walls are thin, water stream isn't powerfull and not hot. But it same in all old Dublin buildings around that area. And its not far away from City centre. I reached Grafron street... More

This was my first hostel experience and ended up staying 4 nights. This hostel isn't located in the heart of downtown, about a 15 minute walk to main sites. However, there are a lot of local restaurants and churches near by and I paid under 20 Euro per night. The mixture of guests included 20-something backpackers to families (so don't... More

I am a person that fits in almost everything , but this hostel is really disgusting . Deserving and ' the staff who work there , but for the rest , and ' better not set foot . Usually I always read the reviews on TA of which are contributor , but this time I was led astray by a... More

Overall, a good hostel for travel on a budget. The price was excellent, about 8 Euro/Night for an 8-bedded room (shared bathrooms). Excellent position, about 15 minutes' walk from the center of town and the main attractions. Public buses to/from the airport stop at 5 minutes from the hostel, take about 45 minutes to get there and cost 2.90EUR/person. Alternatively,... More

been searching a cheap hostel to stay in Dublin. we arrived late around 1am midnight and the reception was still open but it is way better to inform them earlier. despite reading some bad comments about the shower, I found it really okay and the toilets are clean and not smelly. breakfast is free with bread and cereal, make sure... Staff are very nice, helpful and can speak in many different languages which was very difficult to find during my stay in London and Paris. Bedrooms are noisy because of the old wood floors and the many people that can sleep in each floor. It is decently clean. They have enough showers and w.c. The breakfast has only bread, jam,... More

After securing some decent flights, we booked for our group to stay at the Dublin International Youth Hostel. The hostel was ideally located near Shelbourne, where we had planned to watch a local sports event. The centre of Dublin was only a short taxi ride too. Our room, which could sleep 6-people, comprised of 3-bunk beds and a private bathroom.... More

The staff was very friendly, and the hostel itself was clean and had a lot of common rooms, but as a young girl traveling alone I wasn't entirely comfortable with the walk back to the hostel at night from the city centre. If you are traveling in a group, this is a great option to save some money, have a... More

Overall good for the price however is 15 20 min walk to temple bar..showers were cold bathrooms not the best...for this price and condition I would book somewhere near temple bar/dame street...had plenty of leaflets/brochures for tours, and plenty of recommendations which is a bonus
