The reason why this hostel got 2 stars instead of the 1 it deserves is thanks to a few of the reception guys and girls who were very nice. 3 big problems: 1 electricity plug for a 8 beds room. Horrible wifi service. Cleanliness - or lack thereof. The reason being that the cleaning "staff" is comprised of people who... More

Great location. Cheap stay and had everything we needed. clean and friendly staff. Would stay again when back in dublin :) only thing is only 1 socket in the room but only a small niggle. Breakfast was limited but im not sure what people expect?! It did us just fine as a start to our day.

This is the second time i have stayed in this hostel. I would definitely make it a third if i come back to dublin. The bathrooms are clean, hot water in the showers and the staff is really friendly :) Really good price only 10 minutes walking to the city center.

Just went in with big luggage and asked for a bed for two nights and got one in a 10 bed dorm, paid less, had warm, dry and quiet nights, breakfast was quite poor but okay. The hostel is at all quite old, bathrooms had better days but everything is clean and friendly staff is cleaning all around, filling up... More

It's pretty far from the centre (25 min walking) , tiny rooms, very noisy (you can hear the cars from the street all night long and people running and screaming in the corridor) and it was full of school trips. Although, the staff was nice and breakfast too.

Travelled to Dublin International YHA for St Patricks Day weekend in March as a group of 12. Location wise, this hostel is very well located for the price. A leisurely walk to the temple bar district takes no longer than 15 minutes with plenty to see on the way. We took the number 16 service bus (Dublin Bus) from the... More

i know this is a cheap hostel but you can get so much better in other places for the same amount, there was only 2 plus sockets per room for 6-8 people which was a nightmare charging phones and getting ready for the evening, and hostel staff complained at us using the plus sockets outside the rooms. The room we... More

This place was awful considering you can pay the same amount for other hostels and get a much nicer room. In our room of 6, there was 1 plug socket. We tried to use those in the hall outside our room too just to charge phones but the hostel staff repeatedly scorned us for doing so. There were no mirrors... More

The hotel is good for the budget price. The staff are nice and there was free parking for us. There is a problem with the showers, a little cold for me, but for the price we paid it was not too bad for the city of Dublin.

Ireland has many wonderful hostels, this is not one of them. The rooms were so cold and poorly maintained it was very depressing to stay in. The room had mould all down one wall, a broken window with wind howling in, the shower cubicle was made from disparate parts and the shower head which was badly broken and 'fixed' with... More
