It's pretty far from the centre (25 min walking) , tiny rooms, very noisy (you can hear the cars from the street all night long and people running and screaming in the corridor) and it was full of school trips. Although, the staff was nice and breakfast too.

Travelled to Dublin International YHA for St Patricks Day weekend in March as a group of 12. Location wise, this hostel is very well located for the price. A leisurely walk to the temple bar district takes no longer than 15 minutes with plenty to see on the way. We took the number 16 service bus (Dublin Bus) from the... More

i know this is a cheap hostel but you can get so much better in other places for the same amount, there was only 2 plus sockets per room for 6-8 people which was a nightmare charging phones and getting ready for the evening, and hostel staff complained at us using the plus sockets outside the rooms. The room we... More

This place was awful considering you can pay the same amount for other hostels and get a much nicer room. In our room of 6, there was 1 plug socket. We tried to use those in the hall outside our room too just to charge phones but the hostel staff repeatedly scorned us for doing so. There were no mirrors... More

The hotel is good for the budget price. The staff are nice and there was free parking for us. There is a problem with the showers, a little cold for me, but for the price we paid it was not too bad for the city of Dublin.

Ireland has many wonderful hostels, this is not one of them. The rooms were so cold and poorly maintained it was very depressing to stay in. The room had mould all down one wall, a broken window with wind howling in, the shower cubicle was made from disparate parts and the shower head which was badly broken and 'fixed' with... More

Other than the cold showers that you have to hold the button on to get water... The rest was pretty good, cheap. Breakfast standard for the price you pay. Beds and rooms tidy. I do assume hot water comes with any price.

Everything about this place is quite average and therefore I would say usually that 3 stars would only be fair. However, the showers were extremely cold. (I don't expect them to be steaming hot but they were freezing cold to the point that it wasn't bareable). They were also covered in wet tissue paper which knocked me sick. I appreciate... More

Hostel staff were friendly, parking free and safe, rooms clean and spacious for hostel. I read few not that good reviews and dont want to agree.. Yes walls are thin, water stream isn't powerfull and not hot. But it same in all old Dublin buildings around that area. And its not far away from City centre. I reached Grafron street... More
