Hostel itself was great, clean, friendly-ish staff, depended on who you talked to I guess. Only bummer is it's in a bad part of town. Upon arrival my super-friendly taxi cab driver told me "Be careful love, this is a bit of a bad spot, don't go venturin out on yer own" (in a wonderful irish accent). It's also a... More

My husband & I stayed in Dublin for only 1 night / 2 days which I believe is long enough. We booked last minute so had trouble finding cheap accommodation, therefore decided to try a backpackers & found this one. It was within walking distance of the city centre so booked here. The area didn't seem very nice & there... More

There are two awesome things about this place. The first is the staff. They are very helpful and polite, and really make you feel welcome. The second is the price, this is one of the cheapest places I have stayed. The hostel is a but further out than most, but takes less then 10 minutes walk to the centre of... More

The hostel is in a quiet area, only 15 minutes walk from Temple bar, the rooms and facilities are clean and spacious. The beds and sofas in the reception hall are very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful! They can give you advice and you can buy discount tickets from the hostel directly. I've been there twice and... More

No complaints with this hostel. Large and clean with lots of showers/washrooms. Good breakfast - and secure parking on site! Wish it was a bit closer to downtown, but it's a nice walk anyway.

A very nice place to sleep for cheap in Dublin. We were 4 friends and we shared one private room. (we had to change room twice because we spent some days in Kilkenny) The best thing is the kindness of the people running the place. Rooms are clean and big all with large windows. Other useful things are free wifi,... More

If you are staying here I would suggest to make sure you are no where near the bathroom! Our first impression of the place was good as the staff were friendly and the room was clean although it was quite small. Our room was directly beside the bathroom and every time someone opened the door it would shake the wall... More

If you're on a budget - this is the perfect place. The staff is unbelievably wonderful and helpful, hostel very clean and pleasant; full of students but there were also several families there during my stay. Rooms big enough, clean, beds ok (not perfect but ok). Breakfast is included and it's more than decent. Self catering kitchen is also a... More

Great amenities including internet (at a cost), free cafeteria-style breakfast, lounge to meet other travelers. Bathroom showers have hot and cold water, but they are push-buttons, so that can be frustrating. I met many friendly travelers here including many staff members who are very diverse and well-traveled. They made my stay in Dublin fantastic! The hallways are quiet, but the... More
