We found the staff at Camac Valley friendly and helpful on our 2 night stay, they told us the bus times into Dublin city centre and also told us how to get to the nearest pub/restaurant for a meal which was about a 20 minute walk. We got the bus from just outside the campsite into Dublin - unfortunately it... More

I booked this site a month before arriving we travelled across from Wales on a overnight ferry and we were booked in at Camac to stay for a week. When we arrived myself my husband and our 3 children, I produced all the correspondence and my booking reference and confirmation. I handed it to the receptionist, a blonde lady (very... More

We stayed here in our brand new vango tent on its first outing. Our tent was warm and comfortable and the kids were very excited. This site has everything except a restaurant, but the nearby takeaways deliver. Weather was nice, kids made friends and we all enjoyed.

very rude and ignorant staff! They don't care about customers satisfaction or safety. Site was over loaded. We had a spot on tent area as no caravan sites was available for us ( we been prebooked). They broke all the health and safety regulations. I would not recomend this site for anyone.

The camp ground is in a great location for exploring Dublin from. A easy bus trip from the camp gate or car park and just as easy to return. The standard pitches are large but if like us you do not have one of these it is a free for all. People tents, caravans, motor homes are everywhere and anywhere.... More

This is a great site for exploring Dublin. Stayed 1 night in July 2014 in a touring caravan to go to a concert in Marlay Park. Expect to pay about 25 Euros for a taxi. Nice clean site and very big. It was busy but found it quiet enough. Friendly staff and we had free wifi however it didn't seem... More

We booked in January to stay for 4 nights in July. We pitched in between two campervans with plenty of space between us. But came back after a day out to find 4 caravans on one side, a huge tent on the other, 2 caravans behind and a campervan on the path in front. Failte Ireland regulations 2.6, 2.7 and... More

This is the 3rd time we've stayed here. They allowed more and more people in. We couldn't sit outside our tent as a caravan was parked right outside our door. Other caravans parked on roadside and we felt like we had no privacy. I do hope they improve their services. I asked for a complaints slip and was told they... More

Camac Valley is well placed for visits to Dublin. It is also beside Corkagh Park which is a lovely oasis in the middle of a busy area. However, it's location means that you have to accept a level of traffic noise which is relentless day and night but we got used to it. Clondalkin village is nearby and has all... More
