Stayed two nights when travelling solo though Dublin. The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly - -a brilliant welcome to Ireland. I asked for a quiet room and got one away from the street. However, the thin walls mean you can hear everything from all the surrounding rooms. I could even hear my neighbour coughing. Housekeeping seemed inconsistent,ie my bathroom was... More

We spent ages trying to find a decent hotel in Dublin that wasn't expensive and that was available (even though we booked several weeks before leaving) so eventually we settled on this hotel despite the mixed reviews. The room was quite small and needed a little tlc and it was clear that some rooms had been refurbished while others hadn't.... More

We got two rooms for 7 of us. Nice short walk to the main tourist street, and a good pub right around the corner. Our room was right net to the elevator, so we asked to be moved after the first night and they were very accommodating, moving our luggage for us. Breakfast was included and was good, although the... Quite a fair deal for a family of four, even though breakfast is not included (but only 5 euro). Very well located less than 10' walk from Temple Bar. The street itself is of little interest but you are not supposed to stay there for your holidays. Accommodation is correct, room for four was a little tiny though, however quiet... More

Visited with my younger sister in August. The location was walkable to every site, the front desk was cheeky and helpful. The rooms while smaller and sharing a hallway bathroom is tolerable and quality given the price. Spent 3 days here and could have stayed more.

For a budget hotel, The Townhouse met my needs. It's located right near the central bus station, so it's easy to get to and from the airport. If you're a moderately good walker, you can easily stroll along the river to Trinity College (location of the Book of Kells and other manuscripts), and to the Temple Bar area. Again, if... More

This was a great budget option for our trip! The location was great - close/within walking distance to everything but not noisy. We took the Air Coach from the airport and it was a quick walk from our drop off point on O'Connell. Our room was CLEAN, cute and had character, and was fairly spacious compared to other places we... I stayed 3 nights in The Townhouse. It is a reasonably priced B&B, conveniently located close to attractions and city rail stations. The Airlink bus from the airport stops very close to the hotel. Breakfast is not free, but at 5 Euros it is basic and there are healthy options. I booked an ensuite room in the newer addition. It... More

We stayed at the Townhouse for 2 nights at the end of our 2 week trip through out Ireland, The room was comfortable, clean with a nice bathroom and the WIFI signal was strong. Breakfast was not included but could be purchased for between 3-7 Euros depending on what you ordered. The staff were friendly and very helpful and the... More
