This is a good place to stay. The welcome is the usual wonderful Irish greeting that makes you feel important at the start. Website gave excellent directions and airport options. We took the local bus because we arrived so early from the States. fare around 3 euros--get ticket from kiosk if you have a five euro or less.. Information will... More

Arrived to friendly staff and a quirky interior. Quick turnaround to get booked in. Breakfast is €5 if not booked with room. Great taste. Unfortunately, hit and miss with rooms. Ours overlooked a noisy generator and street. People are chatting in the day and till at least 12:30am. Asked to be moved, were told hotel was fully booked and to... More

The hotel is very central for dublin city, easy to find, just get on the citylink from the Airport and it stops oposite the hotel. Hotel not much to look at from the outside reception is fine and staff helpful, lovely old house but needs a bit of T.L.C. Everything is very old and tired looking, very clean, room small... More

Really liked this hotel. Clean, safe, decent room. Great location. Walking distance to everything. Terrific breakast and even a laundry room. Comfortable and spacious sitting areas. Friendly staff. And the airport express bus #747 stops just a couple of hundred feet away. No complaints. Highly recommend.

We spent two nights in Dublin on 29 and 30 August to attend the Penn State - UCF football game and we booked the Townhouse hotel months ahead of time. The location is IDEAL to the town centre, Templar Bar area and Croke Park. The hotel staff is really friendly and upon our arrival after seeing two young girls with... More

The Townhouse is perfectly located within walking distance to the city-center including Temple Bar, the tour buses, college and castle. The hotel itself isn't anything to write home about as far as amenities but it's not terrible on a budget. Definitely worth the location.

Stayed two nights when travelling solo though Dublin. The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly - -a brilliant welcome to Ireland. I asked for a quiet room and got one away from the street. However, the thin walls mean you can hear everything from all the surrounding rooms. I could even hear my neighbour coughing. Housekeeping seemed inconsistent,ie my bathroom was... More

We spent ages trying to find a decent hotel in Dublin that wasn't expensive and that was available (even though we booked several weeks before leaving) so eventually we settled on this hotel despite the mixed reviews. The room was quite small and needed a little tlc and it was clear that some rooms had been refurbished while others hadn't.... More

We got two rooms for 7 of us. Nice short walk to the main tourist street, and a good pub right around the corner. Our room was right net to the elevator, so we asked to be moved after the first night and they were very accommodating, moving our luggage for us. Breakfast was included and was good, although the... Quite a fair deal for a family of four, even though breakfast is not included (but only 5 euro). Very well located less than 10' walk from Temple Bar. The street itself is of little interest but you are not supposed to stay there for your holidays. Accommodation is correct, room for four was a little tiny though, however quiet... More
