Windows that obviously hadn't been cleaned in a long time, broken lamp fittings and poor quality toilet paper left an impression of falling standards and attempts at cost cutting. Some of the TV channels, including Sky News do not work. Breakfast is limited with none of the usual offerings of hotels in a similar price range - no pastries, cold-cuts... More

Unfortunately the hotel has a lot is stairs to go trough which makes it very difficult if you're carrying loads of bags, children and what not. It's great to be in the city centre but for the prices they charge it would need some improvements. Staff is great though.

We only stayed one night at the Townhouse, but it was wonderful. Great location for us to explore Dublin for the day we were there. The staff was amazingly helpful and friendly. They do provide parking for 10 euros, which was worth it to us to have off street parking for the night. The breakfast was plentiful and very good.... More

I chose this bed and breakfast because of its proximity to Trinity College and the price. It is older, but very congenial with clean rooms and linens. It is close to places to eat, shops, including a grocery store, movie theaters, buses, and Trinity College. It has lovely hardwood floors with rugs. My room had a balcony that opened to... More

Great location, awesome front desk staff (obviously used to people trying to decide which tours to book after imbibing the local Guinness and Jameson's!), incredible value for money buffet breakfast, clean comfortable rooms, within walking distance to all the good stuff - Book of Kells, Christ Church Cathedral, Guinness Storehouse, etc. etc., and just around the corner from The Celt... This hotel is very near The temple Bar. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We are delighted with the treatment received. Their rooms are very comfortable, athough you can hear seagulls every mornings, but It isn't very important because you can think that this noise is a natural alarm clock.

For the price this hotel is excellent. The building is well maintained and has everything you need for a mini break away to the city. The staff are excellent and the breakfast is lovely. 5 minutes walk away from the shopping center and the liffy and a 10 minute cab from the bars on dawson street (don't go to temple... More

Competively priced. Good transport links from Dublin Airport. Breakfast which was included in the price was very good. Some noise heard from the room we were in, but because of the comfortable beds had a good nights sleep, and did not hear any of it. Friendly staff. Close to all the attractions. Buy your hop on hop off bus tickets... More

The hotel is quite simple but very comfortable. Breakfast is outstanding and the location is good. About 10 minutes walk from temple bar and close to many bus stops. Free walking tours are very close too. I recommend this hotel. It's a little noisy in the morning because of the street noise (cars, buses, people on the bus stop in... More
