being so close to the train and bus station, this hotel was perfect for what we wanted - exploring! Hotel was clean and presentable. we were given a room in the basement and was very quiet - apart from hearing the aircon pipes going mental occasionally! for the price we cant complain. staff appeared nice, great bar - again reasonable... more

I stayed in the Isaacs in June 09 with 3 other friends. Upon entering the hotel i was taken back by the lovely reception area and staff were extremely friendly. However upon arrival at rooms 117 and 118 we were met with the complete opposite! The rooms were very hot and stuffy and very basic. To be honest I didnt... more

Stayed at this hotel for bank holiday weekend. I chose this hotel based on two things - reviews on Tripadvisor and apparent closeness to everything we planned to visit. Was certainly not disappointed! Booked through hotels.com and saved 15% on the prices on the hotel's own website. We arrived very late on the Friday evening (after midnight) and check in... more

This hotel was perfect for our purpose which was a short break with some sightseeing and lots of going out! The hotel has a really central location, we walked into and back from Temple Bar every night with no problems and always felt safe. Its really near to the train, tram and bus stations too for when we went further... more

I waited a while to post this review. Laziness the only excuse. Stayed there 5 times between Oct 08 and Feb 09 – 2 nights each stay. I had different rooms each time. Stayed once in the Georgian wing – preferred the other part if I’m honest. I paid between €50 - €75 per night depending on when I booked... more

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Isaac on a recent four day trip to Dublin. We were looking forward to our stay at the hotel because most of the reviews seemed very positive. We arrived at the hotel late. The check in process went pretty smoothly, although the hotel only has 3 parking spots and they were all taken... more

Found Hotel Isaac from Trip Advisor, and decided to stay here for a weekend break in Ireland. The reviews were good which helped us decided were to stay as we had never been to Ireland before. Hotel was in a great location and was easy to find as the airport bus stops opposite the hotel. The room was really nice,... more

The room was excellent, modern, clean and in a good location. However, on the saturday night we got no sleep whatsoever until after 3.30am due to a noisy nightclub being below our room, with arguing couples and clubbers shouting in the smoking area until all hours. more

From the reviews and the pictures I did expect a bit more. I booked a "spring special" which was very cheap; maybe we got the low-end room in consequence. So for a 3 star hotel it was not good. Room with no closet (just a bar with hangers) and the window towards an ugly backyard and the metro. But if... more

My partner and I stayed here this weekend and it was a very good experience. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to go to Dublin. The only possible gripe that I could have is that the meals and the drinks are slightly expensive, but actually you will spend the same amount of money when you go into Temple Bar.... more
