My boyfriend and I stayed here for a couple of nights from the 1st till the 3rd of April 2014. We slept in the room 20. The location was perfect in the very heart of Dublin. Catching the Hop On Hop Off bus we never needed to buy any other ticket to go back to the hotel in the evening.... More

We stayed here for three nights and we were extremely happy with the service. Breakfast was included which was a great bonus for us and the staff were so welcoming and helpful with every query we had, even though we arrived early it was not a problem to check us in as our room was already available. The room was... More

The staff was helpful and welcoming, rooms were clean, free wifi, TV, free tea and coffee in bedrooms. Good location (city center close to busaras station and connolly station and o'connolly street) BUT in my case I needed my earplugs because my bedroom was close to a main street. Anyway with my earplugs I could sleep. Breakfast was nice. So... More

We stayed at the Anchor House B&B for 2 nights in January. I would probably rate it 3.5 stars rather than 4, however I think it was better than 3 stars. We were after somewhere affordable, and after much research this seemed to be towards the lower price range for B&Bs in Dublin- we paid €60 per night for a... More

This B&B is downtown and within walking distance to everything. That's the good, and that's it. The owner made a mistake with the reservation and was quick to disclaim the error. Although he did apologize, I suggest that you confirm your stay several times. The mattress is covered in some sort of plastic which makes sleeping noisy; truthfully, the mattress... More

Anchor House was our first introduction to Irish B&B's. The stay was good and the house was semi-modern for such an old building. Service was friendly and breakfast was delicious. Secure parking available in rear for an extra €10. Extremely walkable to most major attractions. Even though our stay was lovely, those looking for a little more affordable place with... More

We stayed here at the end of March, and had a lovely visit. The Anchor House does have a bit more of a hotel feel to it due to having an odd layout, but our room was quiet and clean (albeit a bit chilly). The beds were not terribly comfortable, but for the price and location, it was worth staying... More
