Stayed here for one night prior to starting a Paddywagon tour and found it to be very well located and well priced. However, the rooms were not large and our view into the rear lane and the couple sleeping rough out the back were not that memorable. Staff were great and very helpful, room was clean, but not large. Well the pros: great location close 5 to 10 minute walk to the temple district, the staff is super friendly and accomodating. Also the price is very low for a b&b 152euros for 2 people 2 nights and a bus tour and breakfast included! So great value. And also the beds are really comfortable. Close to bus stop. Only 2.90... Stayed here for two nights in May and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. Very central location, about 5 minutes from O'Connell street and just across the road from Busaras. Rooms were lovely, very comfortable and clean and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Irish breakfast was a great start to the day! Would definitely recommend and stay again.

This guest house was excellent value for money, the staff very friendly, helpful and welcoming and the location was just perfect. I was a woman travelling on my own and felt safe and right in the heart of the city - within easy walking distance to every tourist site and 2 minutes from the bus stop where the 747 airport... More

We had such a poor time in Madrid we departed early. We needed a hotel room and got lucky by walking into this hotel. Great staff. They cared about what we did so they could tell other guests entertainment reviews. The rooms are good. The food in the morning is good. When we go back to Dublin, we will go... More

We spent three nights with the Anchor and found them to be very nice and helpful. The rooms were very adequate and the bathrooms large for European standards. The weekend rate seemed a bit high but the week night rate was spot on. The only negatives would be that the wi fi only works in the sitting room and even... More

My wife and I have just returned from a 3 night stay at Anchor House. On arrival we couldn't get our window to stay closed which didn't help with the loud street noise. B&B is very clean and secure. The staff if very nice and helpful. Couple items that couple have been better: the bed and pillows were hard, water pressure in shower is non-existant and no temperature control in room, quite warm. Overall very nice stay. Breakfast is nice and multiple options available.
