This a great location for travels to Dublin. The airport bus stops right in front of this bed and breakfast. It is located right across the street to the paddy hostel which is a meeting point for all the paddy wagon tours. There are no lifts, but the stairs are manageable. We were able to store our luggage in a... More

Good location, very nice and friendly staff, excellent breakfast for both me (full Irish or similar big portions of eggs) and my mother who preferred porridge, cereals or yoghurt... There's also fresh fruit and marmalades and what you'd expect from a B&B breakfast. The room was nicely decorated, spacious and very clean. TV, kettle with choices of thees or coffee,... More

Location keeps you close to city center, but this is a very basic B&B. No luxury here, remote not working, no view, enough space, but tired and needs refurbishing. The price is low for location and there are no real extras here. There is an internet cafe across the street and the staff is friendly and serves you well. Food... More

Hi! Many thanks for leaving us a review. As you mentioned, we have a very central location, close to everything Dublin has to offer: transport to any part of the city, ten minutes from trinity college, Templebar and Grafton Street, and only a five minute walk from the city centre! Thanks for making suggestions on how to improve our services,... More

Very good location. Much of interest within walking distance. Bus and train terminals are nearby. Service was good. Our complaint about the late night in one room resulted in relocating to a quiet space. The breakfast was generous.

This B&B could not be more perfectly located for visiting Dublin ... Near the Lyas, bus stops and an easy walk to many 'attractions'. The breakfast was excellent (we'd booked on-line, so it was included in our package - in fact, we had to ask for smaller portions! Good coffee, too. The staff were all very helpful - the room... I had reserved two nights to begin our trip in Ireland. The first night, we attempted to sleep, but our room facing a back alley - where apparently there is a bar and it was SO LOUD we could not sleep. To begin with, this is no upscale place. Okay, we knew that. It wasn't exactly clean though. But then... More

Hello, We are very sorry to hear about your experience whilst you were here. We are located in a very busy city centre and therefore some levels of noise are to be expected. Dublin is one of the busiest cities in Europe, so there is not much we can do to limit some noise. Due to the fact we only... More

Stayed here in 2004 and found the location ideal, so booked again for a 9 day stay in May. The location is still ideal..close to bus, train and LUAS as well as a 10 minute walk across the bridge to Trinity, Temple bar, etc. or 5 minutes to O'Connell St and its shops. Lots of good restaurants around the corner... More

We spent a week at the Anchor House and found it to be central to the northern side of Dublin but alas the Temple Bar is on the southern side of the Liffy. We needed to walk more than a kilometre to get to the "action" and the city of Dublin has made no concession for seniors. Yes we can... More
