Stayed here the night before we departed for a tour operated by Paddywagon Tours (which is across the street from Anchor Guesthouse). Anchor was clean, quiet, and in a central location. Good value. more

This GuestHouse is nicely situated just a few minutes walk from O'Connell street. There are lots of shops and restaurants in the area. The bus stop to the airport is also really near. The room was really big and quiet. Wifi is advertised as being in the lounge but we could get it slightly in our second floor room. more

An excellent value for Dublin. The dining room was lovely and elegant, the service was friendly and efficient. Rooms were pleasant, and roomy enough. Our window opened onto the street, but we experienced no problems with noise at all. Even with the unseasonably warm weather, the room was comfortable and airy. I slept better in the bed there than I... more

This is a B&B on the edge of being a small hotel. They have 23 rooms on three floors. There is a lift, although you may have to negotiate some stairs before you get to it. It is in an excellent location, just around the corner from the bus station and the Abbey Street Theatre, only a couple streets from... more

Good guesthouse, very reasonably priced. Room was large and clean, very high ceilings making it feel spacious. Great location to see the city from, carpark available. Breakfasts were served with a smile, but not particularly tasty. However, for the price it is excellent value for money and would stay here again. more

Having got the bus from the Airport we followed the instructions to the B&B - have to say it was easy enough to find. It's located on a very busy road which is full of hostels and budget accomodation. We had a room at the top of the building which was clean and plenty big enough - not to mention... more

Good location, easy to find and we could walk almost everywhere. The hotel reception is not always available but is easy to get their attention. Breakfast is simple but staff makes the difference. The room wasn't at its best, needs to be redecorated but is value for money overall. more

The Anchor Guest house is an adequate Guest House, and we overall enjoyed our stay. The rooms are a good size and very clean, and the beds are comfortable. However, our bathroom ceiling was going mouldy, and our room (at the back of the new extension) was a bit noisy, although we took ear plugs so it didnt disturb us... more

We liked this B&B, the staff was friendly, the room very clean and basic (no frills but good), the breakfast was nice and the location good as well, about 5-10 minutes walk to the centre. And if you compare the price with other B&B's or hotels in Dublin this B&B is really very good value for money. I would recommend... more

This B and B wasn't what we expected after its write up in Lonely Planet. On arrival we found the woman rather abrupt and parking the car seemed to be an issue for her. they wanted to keep the keys to move it if it was blocking someone else which we coudl understand, but at the same time, this isn't... more
